Many of us here in Slovakia hate Robert Fico and his anti-Ukraine opinions however he was polarising the society, calling journalists prostitutes and opposition politicians even worse names for decades and this is resolution of his toxic politics.

As Slovakian I agree with this statement. What we need to mentioned that he was replaced in 2020 by other politician Matovic, which was also very toxic. He contributed to polarization of the society even more. I wish Fico will recover and he will reconsider his aproach and will become more moderate. Of course there is a risk that he will be even more dangerous 😢.

Not really. Fico would be pronounced "Fee-tso". The "c" is pronounced as "ts" in Slovak, not "tz" - some regional dialects notwithstanding. Cibula (onion) is another example. It'd be pronounced tsee-bu-la (accent on the first syllable)

Im loving the message from A. Blinken. He is basically saying Ukraine winning this war is more important than respecting Putin's so-called "red lines". But has to keep mention of our policy, so as to have some plausible deniability built in. In the case of Ukraine hitting something big in Russia with our weapons, and Putin making accusations, Blinken could say "Nope, we told them not to. Look at the policy. You cant blame us". Putin does this same tactic, builds plausible deniability into everything, so I'm glad to see our guy getting tough and using that same tactic against him. Don't appease him, get tough.
It sounds to me like he said it is up to Ukraine to decide. He did not say yes or no, "is no my job". 👍🏼

The situation with the protests in Georgia reminds me of Hong Kong. A whole lot.
The Hong Kong protests were orchestrated and funded by Pompeo’s wife. I saw several videos of her paying them off, hiding around the corner. It was an underhanded coup attempt, not real protests.
The key words are "absolutely committed to the cause of Ukraine's VICTORY in this war". Victory was not a word used in the past.

Excellent point, this had occurred to me also. But the circumstances are entirely different, if FSB is behind the attempt.
That certainly came to mind, but I couldn't say for sure.
As an American I welcome the notion of cutting out the BS and getting to the point. But this seems to be an FSB operation, while I support citizens removing dangerous threats to democracy from office within their own nation WHEN NEEDED. I do believe this was likely premature, especially if the FSB wanted it to happen. At the same time I can't say I mind or am upset that a bad person got what they earned.
I am curious if the FSB was involved what was their goal?

I think I have only been watching you for a year and a half and I have seen a real change in how you present information and your interpretation also pointing out when there is not enough information to make an assessment. You rarely hear that in the new in the US, most times everyone circulates the same immediate reaction and any corrections that come later are lost in the chaos. Thank you for all your work, I know how hard it is when you have depression. You always present the news in a positive manner which does make the bad news easier. Some day I would like to meet you. I'm 73 but I have a fantasy of driving a truck to Ukraine and meeting all my friends ☺️

About the dragon's teeth, Russia is using mostly infantry in this attack. Dragon's teeth do not stop infantry and actually help as it gives them some cover.

Re: Fico. From a CBC TV interview with a Slovakian pundit ( and who knows what HIS leanings are exactly), the assassination attempt was all to do with internal Slovakian politics. Who knows. The other tid bit he mentioned, was the country as a whole is extremely polarized politically.

Artur, I love your channel, video and all your effort put so enthusiastically and with humour. I never wrote you. Just now. It tears my ears the pronunciation of Fico' s surname. In Slovak letter "c" is pronounced as c, not k. C sound is like in the English word Tsar or as a 4th letter in word Specnaz. The same pronunciation is in names Cintula (not Kintula) and Slovenskí branci (not branki). I am looking forward to your videos.
In the short period this asassination attempt stops change to more pro-ukrainian stance of Slovakia.
Maybe Fico planed to make a sharp change towards the West and Russia got wind of it and acted.
It can also be a feel-sorry-for-Fico effect that cements the current pro-russian policy long enough to Russia to win a battlefield victory. Putin is only acting in the very short run now.

Slovak PM Fico's current condition is stabilised, but still critical. This was statement form the hospital treating him. He was supposed to undergo another operation today, but there's no more info on whether or not this happened already.
