Thanks for the review on the Miller 220. The step-by-step going through material selection was nice to see budget friendly options. New to the channel but will highly recommend to friends that may not know Jeeping Mo.
Thanks for the comments and the support. Always looking for new ideas 🤙🤙

Thanks for the review.
Just received my Miller Multimatic 220 from Baker gas as well. The bundle didn’t show up though even though it was still under the description on their website. Hopefully they’ll send it out soon.
It’s a good machine, you won’t be disappointed. Bakers is good to work with also. Thanks for the good comments and subscribing. Please let me know how you like it, or if I can help.

Excellent video. Considering an AC/DC multi. Like the non-expert friendly interface and the instant process change on the Miller. Biggest holdback- apparently won’t run E6010.
Thanks for your comment and watching the video. I love the Miller, I don’t know if you see my review on the ESAB unit. I’ll have to look into it running 6010 rod. If you’re running the other processes I think it’s a good choice. But if I was only running 6010 Rod I would probably go with a dedicated machine. Thanks again for viewing and subscribing and when I get home later this week I’ll look into running that ride. I know I ran 7018.
Apparently it can be done with difficulty, and as I understand it Miller doesn’t recommend running 6010 with this machine. Something about that rod needing higher voltage. Not that big a deal. It’s been many years since I welded much, but iirc 6010 was handy for general repair in mild steel. Fairly easy to run with good penetration and tolerates less than perfectly clean conditions.
The ESAB 205ic apparently will run 6010, but I guess I have been around Miller and (right or wrong) am more comfortable with the brand.
@@JeffinTD the Esab might run it, when the unit I had broke they could not get me a new unit for some time.
@@JeepingMo Well, I got the Miller. So far I’m very impressed. I wish they would have given you settings for pulse % on, and background current- but the instant process change and the quick set features are nice. 6011 should serve fine for those times you want a digging fast freeze stick.
@@JeffinTD glad you like the machine. I talked to Miller about some of those settings, they said that’s what the dynasty machines are for. We started a fab only channel to go along with the Jeeping channel please check it out. ruclips.net/channel/UCymCioKuGeACQLff-gRyKnA
Thanks for sharing that you did buy the Miller hope we had some influence on your decision.
Hi Mo. Jose, from Puerto Rico. I just subscribed to your channel. I like your honesty about your limitations on what you know or not know. Frankly, I just took a basic course on stick welding, but I would love to learn MIG and TIG. Did you go to school to gain your knowledge, or are you self-taught? Having said that, I'm the kind of person that when making an investment, I go for the long haul. I've been checking around other channels and every one of them speak highly about the Miller machine you showed here. It's expensive, but I think you get what you pay for, so down the road I'll probably invest in one. I really enjoyed this video, man!
Hi Jose. Thanks for the support, I took some stick welding classes early in my career. The rest i learned in the shop.
The Miller 220 is a nice machine, it just depends on what processes you what to run. Im not sure if you seen the review i did on the esab machine.
I liked the 5 amp start, but the support was not there. Glad to help, i have been Contemplating some live fabrication videos. What are your thoughts on that. Also check out our other channel 4 x 4 fab shop we do a lot of fab work there also .
thanks again
@@JeepingMo The esab machine seems to be a great machine, but like you said, the service isn't there. My thought process on this is that you can have the best product on Earth, but if there's no service attached, it's worthless. If I do decide to buy, I'll stick with Miller. Having said that, yes, I'd love to see your fabrication process. Great stuff!
Awesome ive been thinking about getting one of these for field work id be curious how hot you can weld on 110volt without tripping the breaker on an extention cord.........great vid man
Thanks. I’ll see how far you can turn it up on 110.

When you were setting the tension...I kinda got lost but want to know how you determine your tension. Thanks in advance BTW.
Make a slight bend in the wire, with the tip roughly 2” away from a hard surface. The wire should feed out.
Hope this helps.
Which welder would you say is the loudest esab or Miller?
By far the Esab has a loud fan on it, thanks for the comment and subscribing.
Why not just use argon foe all welding then no spatter cost more but i think its worh the extra cost in argon ??
Thanks for the comment, the Tig would be ok. But even using a spray process it would need 2% co. Thanks for the comment and subscribing. 👍👍
hi, how much is the maximum weight of wire that can be installed?
I run the 10 pound spool of the .035 wire. Thanks for the view, comments and subscribing. 👍👍👍

Will it AC stick weld
We ran some 7018 and some maintenance rods from RockMount. It ran really good,
Let me know if you need anymore information. Thanks for your comment views and subscribing.
@@JeepingMo you didn't answer my question. I'm sure you were welding DC. If Miller was really on top of their game that machine should stick weld in AC with adjustable frequency.
@@hlphipps6477 sorry I did not see that you were asking about AC. I am currently waiting on some aluminum rod to try AC stick welding. I have not done it yet. I’ll post soon as I have thank you for asking again again
@@JeepingMo check the menu on that machine see if it gives you that option in stick mode. I wasn't interested in aluminum welding with stick, but AC stick works well with magnetized steel. Thanks
@@hlphipps6477 I’ll. Be home later and I’ll check. Thanks
Still think the EASB 205 is a better unit.
I did like all the features the 205 had. I could easily see where it would be a better machine. I did not have the time to get parts in, esab was looking at 3 months to get the boards in. I figured it was new model issues. Thanks for your comments. Do you have a 205?
I do. I just got it so I personally can’t speak on the long term reliability however I know a couple of fabricators locally that swear by them. We will see. I may have different results
@@4bearsi678 please let me know how you like it. 👍👍
