Try Jordan Liberty's channel. He's a great pro artist and he uses models of different skin tones
I love your videos, Monika. But I think this one was a miss. People who kept asking for an acne tutorial wanted to see someone with a lot of spots that weren't minuscule and are hard to cover up. Especially because acne meditation dries up skin so it would have been helpful to see the prep that goes into skin before makeup application.
I hope you do another acne tutorial that takes these considerations into account.

Can you do a makeup tutorial on how to get the look of a Victoria secret angel like Candice Swanepoel? I just love how she does her makeup and I wanted to see what products to use for that certain look.
I think you should use as a model a girl with severe acne problem so we could be able to see your skills in a really problematic skin.This one l can do it too without being a professional.
im sure she would if she could find one. its not too usual for people with really bad acne to want to be on camera without makeup..

Hi Monika - this is a gorgeous look. Is this the same type of makeup you would apply on-camera, for flash photography? Do all of these products perform in that instance? Wondering if there would be any alternate products you'd recommend for covering/concealing acne and skin texture on camera. Thank you!

Hi Monika! This is super helpful! I have very cystic red acne, and have for a long time. Therefore, I also have a lot of scars in addition to the cystic acne. Would you use the same concealer for the acne and the scars? Or is there one that is better for the other? Also, it would be awesome to see a tutorial on how to cover red cystic acne. :) thanks!

Wonderful job as always!! Could you use a model that has acne scars? I sometimes find even using color correctors it doesn't cover them up or its just me not using the product right :/ I also can't stand the feel of a lot of concealer on my face..

Is there any good cheaper alternative to the Marc Jacobs Remedy Concealer Pen and the Chantecaille HD Perfecting Powder because those are too expensive for young girls with acne...
I have NC35 skin tone and very dark circles under my eyes and eyelids. So its really hard to give colour to my eyelids with eyeshadows. Can you make a video including recommendations for dark circles coverage?
Hi Monika, I have acne and acne scars on my cheeks. Whenever I use bronzer, contouring or blush, I feel like I move the foundation/concealer underneath and my spots become a lot more visible. Do you have any tips to avoid this? I use medium coverage make up and don't like the cake-kiness of a full coverage make up. I also hae tried using the green colour corrector but hasn't worked. :( Please help.
Is the Kevyn Aucoin concealer better than Clea De Beaute concealer for covering pimples? I love that you took a less is more approach with her even with acne prone skin thanks

+xxharrytomjohnnyxx You can put extra face cream on a blemish and let it sit for a few minutes and take a cotton swab and gently twist so you remove the upper "dry" layer.
Try using oils on your face or using the oil cleansing method. Hydration is key to those flaky bastards. Also not all oils work for everyone, olive and coconut were blah on me. Argan and grapeseed oil are the best for my skin and super lightweight!
Monika, is there a dog in the studio? I can hear pet sounds:) I'd love it if you showed us how to cover heavier hormonal acne.

woahhh this poor ladies skin. You did a great job making her look more youthful as well as covering the acne.
The thing for me is that every time I use good expensive makeup, it makes my face look Cakey and some of my pimples still show through! I hate it! Idk how people get it so right. I have been suffering from acne all my life and even until now in adulthood. It's annoying and I tried everything so far, maybe I'm missing something. Any tips?

She barely has any acne at all. They're not even red. No one needs a tutorial for this. Just put foundation on top and you're done.
all these people whining about the model not having bad enough acne. its not easy to find a model with really bad acne who wants to be filmed for the whole world to see without makeup. use your brain people

Sorry, but this is so far from reality and not what people were asking for. I appreciate her skin was good on this day, but this girl does not have cystic acne, and that's what people Have been asking to see. Also, these products are so far out of people price ranges, it's ridiculous. You didn't even explain the reason behind choices.
I really can't stand these types of comments.. No one said you had to use the EXACT SAME PRODUCTS she used. She was showing you the technique she uses to conceal acne.
The Kevyn Aucoin concealer might be great at covering the acne but it will only make it worse in the long run, I once wasted my money on this and it made my situation a million times worse.
Yes, that concealer has comedogenic ingredients. I wouldn't recommend that to anyone with sensitive skin.

+xxharrytomjohnnyxx Exfoliate prior to applying makeup and make sure to moisturize first as well. Also, I would avoid using sweeping motions when applying foundation or concealer since this will pick up any flaky areas, use your finger or a beauty blender on acne(the way she did). And be careful about applying too much powder or anything too matte.
