- Today's NASCAR Heat 5 Setup will focus on Darlington Raceway. We will focus on Cup but also discuss adjustments for Xfinity and Trucks with a focus on stability and tire wear over a full fuel run. For that the setup needs to be balanced such that the RF and RR tires wear at very similar rates. Driving style is always important so focus on being smooth on both steering and pedal inputs to minimize speed loss and excess tire wear.

Thanks! Been using your setups in NH5 and I love it! Your setups now are well balanced unlike in NH4 for me your setup was more of very fast but I had problems with tire wear.

Good setup. Did a 10 lap run with and I was a little tight through the center so I dropped the front weight to 52% and the wedge to a 51.8 and the next lap I went out I posted my fastest lap time and got her runnin good 👍

Maybe. I am not a fan of road courses with the Heat physics. I hope to do a road course setup but only if I can find something that feels decent. Fingers crossed.

I can’t seem to get a good setup at WWT would you be able to show me what you recommend for a good setup at that track
It's on my list but not sure when it will be released. For now I would take a look at Iowa and see how it works as a baseline.

@@KneePitGaming what about sliders at Darlington. I normally use a 5 slider, wedge at 49.2

Man...I bought heat 5 like a week and a half ago. It's my first Nascar game since 98 or 99 on the N64. Your tunes took me from not keeping pace on normal, to having to try and lose on hard! I've only lost on Sonoma, Road America and Eldora. Everywhere else I've placed 1st!
But, feeling badass aside....I don't think they thought the a.i. through all that well if a first time player can whomp ass this hard....on hard
Legend pretty easy, I got 12 wins before playoff started
Note to self, watch out for wrecked cars on a 2 lane corner or you will wind up with a dnf lol
