Its a shame all the other millions that are against ulez find it too much effort to get off their backsides and do something.

It's because you're the wrong people and this (ULEZ) battle is lost. Worse is coming: CBDC and the withdrawal of almost every freedom you once knew. Do you know how to fight it? BCG knows journalism and social media. What do you know? Do you know law? Technology? Encryption? Finance? What? When push comes to shove nobody actually wants to be arrested while waving a flag and coming up with flat earth/freeman of the land stuff. Come up with the concrete resistance and others will be there.
If Londoners voted for someone like Mr Khan, they deserve what they get. He got 1.2M first and second choice votes in the 2021 election. I haven't been to London since I got unfairly fined by the congestion charging system about ten years ago. They seem to want to create paradise for the millionaires and hell-on-earth for ordinary people. Let them.
unfortunately the Londoners who voted for khan are either cyclist's or drive fancy new cars so only thing will happen is they'll get more road space while loads of folk are forced of road :L

@@dannyBtech the zero emissions mandate (ZEM) comes in in 2024 - this has bigger implications than the ulez expansion. I think both will collapse under the weight of public protest but it will be one hell of a fight.

We are supposed to be a democracy. How can one person have this much power in our capital city? Why isn't the air quality in the London underground being addressed? Oh wait, it is because it can't be taxed!!
It's because TFL is bankrupt and hasn't the money to do it. Bailing TFL out is the motivation behind the extension of ULEZ.

Hey Brown Car Guy ! We had the pleasure of meeting you yesterday 🙏🏽 We have a 1995 VW T4 camper 🚐 … we travel to the Borough of Hillingdon from Kent monthly to take out my wife’s 94 year old Nan for the afternoon as she’s in a care home. She loves spending time in our camper van, we have lunch in the camper at her local park, she can take a Nana nap. Everyone we meet loves our van there is no good reason to scrap this van 🤯
The van is over £300 a year for road tax.
We pay the Dartford toll £2.50 each way to travel to outer London.
Now add on £12.50 each way if we stay over😡
What is so very sad is that the major of London is lying … he is out of control 😵💫

I respectfully disagree. Two wrongs do not make a right. ULEZ protesters should not stoop to the lows perpetrated by JSO. It would also be hypocritical of a ULEZ protest to stop traffic.
34mins 6 secs - The scientist/solicitor talking about the detrimental effects of scrapping perfectly good vehicles to replace with newer vehicles is very telling.

And to add as hydrogen isn’t a natural product of the earth, it’s production spews methane & other various metal compounds into our atmosphere.
Not net zero, it’s a botched job policy put together without any investigation or science took into consideration.
The man is correct the production of greener products introduced into society or scraped just adds more to the atmosphere than the vehicle none-compliant.
Just like the wind turbines not 100% recyclable, there is over 11,000 turbines in the uk ever 15 to 25yrs over 33,000 turbine blades have to be put into land fills as they are not recyclable.

i would highly recommend just not paying the charges when a bailiff comes to your door without a claim or signed by a judge (they always do this) don't open your door call the police and have them removed

@@EtonieE25 Laws can not be applied retroactively. Under Article 7 of the Human Rights Act 1998, an individual cannot be charged with a criminal offence for an action that was not a crime when they committed it - an absolute right.
Why do we have to put up with that stress and harassment? Get these thieves in suits OUT.

I got £8000 in my diesal Range Rover as diesal was promoted by the transport minister at the time. Now Khant has made my car worthless. My plan is to use my car one day a week, drive to Khants house and run my engine for the whole day and if I see him I will give him a piece.of.my.mind. 😂😅

And a load of cars bought in the last scrappage will now be “non-compliant” and subsequently get binned in this scrappage! All at our expense.

A mayor who doesn’t listen is not a mayor, it doesn’t matter who is telling him what to do, he made that choice to be in the job he is in and cause misery to people. There is no excuse for that so he is fully to blame as well as the people above him. He will find new ways to tax further. Well done to everyone for braving the weather. The last bit, hopefully more people will take note that EVs are NOT the answer and it is doing more harm than good, don’t scrap and keeping an old car going is far far better. Great coverage.

Fully agree. In fact, I’ve asked BCG to do this. That couple of minutes at the end needs to be a standalone video. It’s likely to go viral. We could send it to our respective MPs, councillors and Khan himself. Short and to the point.

I share the sentiments of the 4 chaps you interviewed as a car enthusiast- I actually forgot I've attended some charity events in my cars before and people put all sorts of money in the pot on the way in- really shows how far the impact of this stretches outside of london issues.

Everyone should Stop Paying ULEZ Charge from 29th August 2023, this will overwhelm the legal system and the courts and the bailiffs, paralyse the legal system, form an online group to continue to oppose and reveal camera locations, if possible cap the those cameras to help all those people who depend on their older cars for their businesses, and for essential school drops and shopping at supermarkets, visiting relatives and those sick in hospitals. let us all join hands and teach this man a lesson he can't have it his way ignoring the people and their rights to free movement. This charge is illegal, and has no jurisdiction, it was implemented by a mad man without proper public consultation.

My absolute support from the north west, felt robbed when charged multiple times visiting south of the river for work. This is a poll tax for the modern age. Also ppm is a fundamental hindrance to freedom. Keep up the good work.
Just to clarify, I am the man with the mask. your two videos on the Underground were an eye-opener on the incubation chamber that places those using the underground in more danger than anything that is happing at the street level.
We see the MSM completely out of touch with this danger for those using the underground and do not seem prepared to highlight what happening below ground. Also, there is a question of how much carbon emission is added to what happening above at street level. What contribution is TFL Underground adding to the street-level pollution reading of the Carbon monitor?
So the car etc is getting the blame for a higher carbon reading of street-level pollution than what it is responsible for. But it does help to sell the lies from Mayor Sadiq Khan and the coverup of this information for his revenue-raising ulez scam.

If the underground was a work environment, "health and safety" would shut it down immediately, as hazardous to human health. A clear breach of the "health and safety at work act".

@@fredfred2363 I have been looking around on Google and there does seem to be more information on the danger in the underground than I realized. A few studies have emphasized the danger level tobe in the region of over 15 times high than that found at the street level.
This hazard in the underground seems incurable with all the variables that come into play in its attempt to cure the problem. This places the public and TFL staff at great risk to their health and would cost hundreds of millions to reduce it to anywhere near what is acceptable for those using the underground to be safe.
So to targeting the vulnerable at the street level seems like the sledgehammer to crack a nut approach.
When industrial giants like TFL work to keep any big city rolling and are the main contributor to air pollution. They then look to raise money with dubious means by taxing their customers with all sorts of scams to increase fares, getting rid of the day travel- card, and stopping those with freedom cards from traveling, etc. If you are not a customer they make you one with the scams. The mayor of London is more than happy to rob the people blind with lies with the blame game in an attempt to balance his books.
Highrise buildings also slow the flow of polluting air at street level in the city of London which has been created and allow to happen because of money and not because it is a healthier environment for the public.
They are now trying to draw everybody into paying for their mistakes.
The last guy to speak deserves a whole u tube video to himself! He speaks the truth, most ev purchasers stick their heads in the sand and ignore the impact lithium has on the people that mine it!

When a system doesn't even let the driver look up their vehicle to see if they've been in the zone you know there's something inherently corrupt going on. The amount of stories of people getting caught out is huge.

Anyone within the councils working on reducing emissions, who mention the pollution on the underground, would get sacked, they've been warned.
My experience, living in provincial Norwich, THIS is exactly the reason why I will NEVER vote 'Old Labour' - AND why they have not won an national election since 1974. In Norwich, the issue was housing troublesome families. The Labour Party WILL ALWAYS hurt local people to score national-points. Here, they are trying to score international-points. Why???

I've had 2 letters re ULEZ to me in Bournemouth as I have paid it for both of my cars ONCE!
I live just outside the zone, I’ve received a letter that my car with my number plate isn’t Ulez free. It states that my information isn’t passed onto TFL. Not sure how my personal vehicle is of any interest to anyone let alone TFL.
