I’m not hating on the product or company, I actually think it’s amazing they’ve released a tablet so big but I’m not sure if all 32 inches are needed, but I guess it depends on the artist ^-^

    For anyone with a Cintiq 24 or 32 pro models with the etched glass... since the glass is the etched the colors and sharpness are compromised... but I put on a screen protector on it with a semi-gloss finish and before I appied it they gave you a small sample to put on the screen and the difference was mindblowing how I've been using this Cintiq tablet/monitor without its full potential due to the etched screen... I think with this Photodon cover the colors pop more, text is sharper and the depth of images are more noticeable than with just the default screen Wacom ships this out with. There are a ton with the different textures, I'd just get the regular one which is what I got and I LOVE IT, literally makes me want to use my Cintiq even more!

    The most interesting takeaway for me here is the custom stand. I've built drawing tables and stuff but never thought about assembling a wooden stand for my pen display (it's a humble 13" Companion anyway, but now I'm seriously considering upgrading to the 24" model - 32" is just too much for me). If it lasts me at least 10 years that's a good ROI for me :)

    seems like the lower dpi compared to the 24 and potential for serious strain on your arm from drawing so big doesn't seem all that worth it unless you're focused on large scale illustration where you don't want to work zoomed in on a highly detailed project
    i'd argue that perhaps the 16 would be even better for primarily animation, as large canvas size isn't exactly too necessary for that, not to mention the ability to move it around your workplace/house which could improve working conditions and be more convenient/comfortable
    i wish wacom would release an inbetween of the 16 and the 24, but they seem to just never bother with medium sized screen options

    Amazing device, but I've heard the 32" is not for everyone. Hi Aaron, I hope that you and your family are fit and well.
    Would it be possible to review a graphics screen that the majority of artist's can afford? I've always loved WACOM gear for about 20 years or so but the price tag for these systems doesn't agree with my budget. In my opinion they are aimed more to the professional/ freelance graphic designers. I'm a graphic designer with a 1st Honours Degree but unfortunately been unable to work due to my illnesses so my budget won't allow me to even contemplate investing in such fine equipment! As they say " Beggars can't be chooses" lol. But having said that I still gain a great deal of pleasure watching such as yourself using them and showing me the abilities of said item's.
    Maybe one day... I can dream eh lol 👍😉👌

    1) 17:20 The "biggest feature that I skipped over ... is the Wacom cintiq pro engine", you say? Fwiw, at this time, the xeon version is unavailable whilst the other (Intel I5) is borderline obsolete, imho.
    2) That said, I'll probably get this artist's 'gorilla arm' canvas ... if I can use it for other windows apps, spreadsheets, and youtube, etc.
    3) If not, I'll be forced to get the 28 inch Microsoft surface studio 2 (which also begs a processor upgrade).
    Any thoughts? Utmost thanks and blessings!

      JanetGarciaFineart he sounded like he was forcing it in his last video to be honest. It felt like was doing mental gymnastics to say nice things. At the very least he's done demos for Wacom, I imagine he has some kind of relationship with them. I have a cintiq but man are they overpriced. Wacom seems pretty anticonsumer as of late too.

    Aaron, what do you think of the Light Bleed? Does this one you reviewed have any? I ordered one 32" and has a little light bleed on the right bottom edge and the top left. Not a big deal since is only visible on deep black but still, is an expensive tool to have that. Should I return?

      Lilbird like all cintiqs, the tablet has to be paired with a computer. Essentially it acts as a monitor with great touch screen abilities and some other benefits. With the pros, I believe there is an option to buy something to add onto it to basically make it a computer but then yes; if you attempt to use it as a computer you will need WiFi to do things that require it, as you would on an actual computer but if you simply download drawing software, you should be able to use it without WiFi on the tablet

    About cables and options/ports... the funny thing is that Cintiq Pro 13 and 16 can't use HDMI cables... after claiming that usb-c is the way of future (despite having everyone complaining way before both being launched)... And then, it seems Wacom realized their mistake and include HDMI ports for Cintiq Pro 24 and 32... which makes it even funnier since people who can afford Pro 24 and 32 would probably be loaded enough to have state of the art computer (which PROBABLY have usb-c with alternate display).
    Future proof doesn't mean you don't include legacy port, Wacom... don't follow Apple examples.
    And this is the reason why I don't buy Cintiq Pro 16 (can't afford bigger ones)... I might buy Cintiq 16... if it's released one year sooner. Right now I already bought Artisul D13 (which is very good for its price).

    This thing looks beautiful, but it's refresh rate does seem a little...lacking. Are you experiencing significant issues with brush delay or cursor drag compared to previous iterations of any from the Cintiq line?

    • @AaronBlaiseArt
      @AaronBlaiseArt  5 лет назад

      No haven't had any issues. I'm wording if there is an issue with how it's showing up in the video?

    • @MaZEEZaM
      @MaZEEZaM 5 лет назад

      Brush delay and cursor lag tend to relate more to the quality of the computer its attached to, this is effectively just a touch screen monitor, its not calculating anything itself, its not a stand alone computer.

    • @JoshFryer
      @JoshFryer 5 лет назад

      MaZEEZaM I’m not referring to the speed of the computer it’s plugged into, I’m referring to the refresh rate, which has EVERYTHING to do with the monitor, not the computer (assuming it’s set correctly).
