1) mayo based salad 2) bagged snacks 3) fresh bread 4) soft cheeses 5) carbonated beverages 6) candy & sweets 7) pre-packaged sandwiches So, I have learned that bread & tortillas freeze very well. Just remove from freezer and set on the counter to thaw. Shredded cheese also freezes well. I gathered 3 whole big totes full of peach sparkling bottled water. After the BB date, it kind of tasted like alka-seltzer 🤢🤮 I discovered that if I added sugar free drink packets, it was tolerable. I disagree with #6. Candy/Sweets store very well if vacuum sealed but your goodies can’t contain nuts. It’s important to have “comfort” food. So go for it. I wait till after holiday candy sales. One last thing. Vacuum sealing does not help crackers last longer. They go rancid very fast after BB. Hope this helps. One is none, two is one, so buy more than three!
