StarbaseSim in KSP2?

  • Quick mock-up to see what's possible. Don't mind the floating tower of Pisa. Somehow it was quite difficult to get the alignment right and it's my first time playing KSP myself :D
    But in principle it works. With some adjustments I can use my scripts directly in KSP 2! It's a little cumbersome though. I still don't know, if it would be worth to spend the time to bring my stuff over. It probably depends how the development with KSP 2 continues. With the current performance issues, it's not really an option anyway. It also seems like nobody has found out yet how to make modded rockets or I haven't seen it yet at least. I COULD use my own rocket scripts, but that wouldn't really make much sense.
    What do you think? Should I bring StarbaseSim stuff to KSP 2 now? Or wait?
    If I do it, it means quite a bit of work and no updates for StarbaseSim for a while.

    where most of my Mechazilla is from. Maybe Sam will bring Mechazilla to KSP 2 himself?

    I think you should wait until there is an official mod support :)

      That might take some time though. I think the devs have other nuts to crack right now :D

    I think you should wait and focus on the current starbase game you are working on.
