*bridge disintegrates after delivering the car safely across* "I don't really like that." *car ends up on its roof and all occupants die but bridge remains intact* "Perfection."
Loved the bridge completely destroying itself after getting the car across. I could just imagine some product manager saying "Well, we saw lots of requirements specifying that it had to get a car across, but there was never a requirement that there had to be a bridge left after that."
It wouldnt work because each level has different size building areas and connection points, so the bridge would be too big or too small and loose on every level it wasnt designed for
i can feel every person who works in architechture, engineering, physics and regular gamers, pogging hard at this. this is so underrated, please keep on making amazing content like this
Your ability to keep track of what was connected to what and make adjustments on the fly in the midst of all the nodes and beams was downright awe-inspiring.
What I thought this challenge was going to be when I clicked, was some attempt to complete the whole game with one bridge design. Like imagine a gigantic monstrosity of a bridge that can beat the game by either copy pasting it in its entirety, or taking subsections. No clue if that's even remotely possible but it'd be cool to see a broadly applicable design
Yeah, that essentially sums up American schools. You're doing all this extra stuff all because they didn't give you the one little thing you came there for.
Awesome video!! Really enjoy seeing these “simple 2d machines” like the 4 bar linkage, straight line linkage and mechanical locks. Keep up the good work mate. Would love to see a video just about those “simple machines” and possibly the 3D counterparts if they exist.
With unlimited budget I think it's entirely possible for every level to be beaten. With only 200% budget, I'm going to guess with no research at all probably about half could.
my favorite part of this is being "over budget" and how people do REAL LIFE projects like this too. Keep cutting corners and somehow make it still work.
