Actual description: Projects don't always work out... but sometimes, just a little taste of what it could be, is a shining light at the end of the tunnel. Projects rarely go from start to finish without some serious problems... Fredric is going to put up a real fight to get all the bugs started out, but this bottom feeding trash will someday be a special ski.

Oh that ending, I did a full lol probably every one now thinks I’m weird. The contractual obligations 😂 I really enjoyed that

I just watched your video... I feel pretty bad for you... if you're still able to laugh, that's good, hehe.
"that ending" meaning you with the drive shaft ? haha... I was so much focused on my talking that I didn't really notice that you were being funny, even when editing. It's always odd to see yourself on camera when someone else films and edits it.
Haha... I had to come up with an excuse as to why I wasn't posting the V8 footage yet... The real reason is that it was my last ride before heading home and I kinda talked about it.... sooooo I want that to me my last video. It's easier and more funny to say "contractual obligation" haha.

"Typical jetski brothers build" shots fired

I think the word I was looking for was "classic" but I had tried the intro 3 times and then Josh walked out, so I just ran with it, haha. However, I don't think that "typical" is bad either ! Good idea, good intensions, interesting ski and lots of tinkering.

As a bottom feeder myself I approve this ski 110%

I feel the same way every time I make a trip back from visiting the JSB ... I scavenge all of their trash and take it home with me. I think this ski has a lot of potential... Not sure if that means it will get the attention that it deserves, but it could be great, or at the very least, a lot of fun... that fun = great !

@@vinvinn7050 LOL... Video going live tomorrow with a heater install on my truck. It works really well. It's not very cold here yet, but I have been using it while out doing service calls. It has a bluetooth app so I can check the temp of my truck from my bedroom and turn it on if it's cold... I've used it for about 2 weeks, on and off... and have only burnt about 2.5L of diesel.

Poor Freddy didn't even have a chance. What would the previous owner that put the purple flames on say?

Fun story for you. I had the hood of the fx1 off and was removing the breather tubes out of the hood liner because they were being annoying. I'm drilling these rivets out and a big rat runs out and I just see it out of the corner of my eye. I then start pressure washing the liner through the holes to get the rats nest out. 2 baby rats fall out and I'm scrambling to kill them. Later that night I'm thinking I need to tape up the hood holes and make sure they're really all gone. I flash a light at it and see a baby rat. So I then threw the hood in the pond and the last rat swam out and I drowned it. After the encounter with the 4 rats I decided to start building it. I just got it together this weekend and tried it out.

@@Jacobskibros Oh wow ! Haha... what an ordeal ! I don't think I've ever seen a rat before. I'm sure it's less than ideal to have them living around your house and in your jetskis ... We have some mice, and that's bad enough, but Quasar keeps the number of them low.
Well.... that is quite the story on how you got motivated to get the FX1 up and running. Is it cool or does it suck.... or is it just okay ?

The neighbor has a kitten so I'm hoping it will do it's job. The fx1 seems pretty good but I think my homemade ride plate and intake grate were not the best. It doesn't have the bottom end punch that it should but I'm sure I'll get it better. It's running a 650sx pump which was a pita to get in there. It's like a mini superjet. Probably just what you would think.

@@Jacobskibros Sounds like something you would build, that's for sure. You can always improve on the ride plate and intake grate.
