Great review! The PK was on my list, but your review convinced me to take a closer look at the Rambler! I am glad I did! This has the price advantage and has a great design. The PK has a 20-year warranty and is 100% aluminum. The PK might be my next purchase but Joe one this battle. Can't wait till my order arrives!! Thanks again for your great review!
Sounds like we are/were in the same situation. I have a PK 360 and have been looking at the PKGO for smaller cooks because I like the 360 so much. The Rambler seems a bit more versatile, easier to use and is less money. It isn't going to last as long as the PK but it will still outlive me.
@purleybaker I love my Rambler. I did a ton of research and determined it offered the best value proposition. The PK looks fantastic, and even at their price point, I think they are a good buy. Once again, the Rambler is great and has not disappointed me in any way. Since you already have a PK, you might want to save a bit of money and go Rambler; either way, you can't go wrong. Charcoal is king!
I just bought one of these, the quality of the BBQ is on par with a $50 Jumbuck from Bunnings. When you ask for support they threatened you with charges if they determine the faults aren't worth of fixing..

I purchased mine through Harvey Norman. The Cast iron grill grates seemed to be the only quality component, although they were 10mm too short for the frame so they almost fall down into the coals. The welding on the frame was porous and pitted, the charcoal basket wasn't folded correctly before welding and the holes punched in the basket were rough and needed some attention with a deburring tool. The temp gauge right out of box was milky white, not clear and the lid do not seal correctly onto the base. Good design, bad construction. @@SnowysOutdoors

Can you do a review on some light weight larger capacity dry bags please for storing gear in tramping packs. For clothing sleeping bags freeze dry food and other gear that’s need.

Just bought a Rambler from you guys and the temperature probe dial is hazy inside like it has moisture inside. I observed in this video that it should be crystal clear so what the best way to get it replaced?

If it helps I’ve had this since COVID, endless bbqs since then until last year when I had to store it, got it back the other day and everything is still solid. Sadly mine came with a bent tray but I made it work 🤷🏻♂️ get the cover!

I have watched so many over the years and yes, this is the best.
I own a Rambler. Great for sear, BBQ or smoking but takes a bit of practice. I'd buy it again, and I recommend it. Awesome flavours

would have been really nice with a second charcoal basket to use as a deflector, that would boost bbq usage with indirect heat!
