The charcoal rack brackets are much easier to adjust than you think just pull both brackets inwards then lift up until it stops then push both outwards and bring to the top
Great review. It's reassuring to know I'm buying a (relatively) portable compact grill that performs as well as the big boys. Super excited to unbox it when it shows up at my doorstep. Hopefully it won't have issues, but I'll know what to look out for now.. Thanks again, Mike. Very much appreciate your time and effort to share your experience with the Rambler.
Scott, I really appreciated your kind words. Comments like these make it worth it… I’m excited for you. The Rambler is a great bbq in all weather. Let me know if you have any questions and make sure you seal the lid with gasket. I have a video on that.
Good observation. No real reason but when I really need to manage the efficiency of the coal I will bust out the basket. Not really needed on shorter cooks though. Thanks for watching!
Hot n fast aside, it shines as being a great little compact smoker due to its heavy build. Works perfectly for me when I want to smoke small cuts of meat. Thanks for the question Jack.
Hey Mike great video 👍 Did you use oklahoma joe gaskets or different brand? If different brand could please provide the name and where you happy with the performance? Thanks
Don, thank you I appreciate that! I used this gasket on the Rambler and Judge. No issues and works like a charm. I appreciate you watching. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00TAJW0QE?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Yes I agree with why it was designed that way but this particular Rambler has some sloppy welding which caused it to angle up to high. Good grill overall though.
Interesting you have issues raising and lowering the grate and have trouble with the ash pan. Mine works just fine, but I do agree the gasket sealer made a big difference for me
Lmao "All right roll" 🤣 thank you for the review my guy

Thank you, I’ll try that method.

Thanks for good review!I bought it in Japan.
Thank you! I appreciate it.
Is there a reason that you’re not using the charcoal basket anymore in the rambler?

Wish they made some side shelves that could quickly attach so you stage food and condiments.
Same here..
I’m looking for a portable grill for steaks, chicken, burgers etc. if you had to say one type of cooking the rambler shines , what would it be?

The bottom clean out is designed that way so the drawer clean out doesn't slide out in transport just pick up and slide right out

Thanks for making this review. 👍🏼
Hopefully it helped. Let me know if you have any questions.
Do you grill with the lid open?
I do when cooking burgers and hot n fast type cooks.
It's the same on my grill would love to see what you do to fix it.
I assume you’re talkn bout the leak. Yea I’ll get back to you in few days after I fix it. Thanks for watching!

Glad to hear you have no issues. I must have just got a crap rambler. It’s fine though once you figure out how to get around the defects.
Where did you get the table
Hi Kevin - I got it on Amazon. The price has gone up since then though. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01HJATSC4?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Good video
Thank you, I appreciate that!
This thing is perfect for a single family for grilling and smoking low fuel consumption to
