Zürich, yes a beautiful city indeed but a vast majority the people are miserable and may I say a tad racist..
The water comes out of the Alps and that is why it is so blue and clean
That may be part of it, but I'm pretty sure the main reason is that we have highly advanced water cleaning and treatment facilities and fairly strict regulations on what you're allowed to dump into the water. So it's really just the power of science.

But the water is still very good
This year the lake water was exceptionally clear during summer time compared to other years. Sad they missed to take a swim. If they hadn't be Americans they just could have take a skinny dip :-)

Heya, I live in Zurich and I’m usually pretty annoyed at Zurich Vlogs because in most of them, they just go to the very very pricey and extremely touristy stuff and kinda “misrepresent” our city a little bit.
But yours isn’t like that, which I love!
Zurich seems so cool! My dad and I are planning a trip to Europe next summer so it’s fun to watch your vlogs and use them as inspiration for our travels. Have fun!

Well, one thing you have to concider if you come here is, it won't be cheap. You gotta be prepaired for it to be (most likely) more expensive from where you live. I don't really often drink beer but i know a good cocktail in a bar, will, most likely, cost you at least 10 swiss francs, which is about 10 dollars. A coffee won't be cheaper than 3-4 francs. But you also need to think that Zurich itself is a rather expensive city. We do have more cheaper places but bigger cities with more tourists (Like Zurich or Geneva for example) tend to be more expensive in tems of pretty much everything (Parking spots, food, drinks, rent and all that stuff). But i'd say the beauty and cleanliness of our country itself definitly makes up for that ^^

Was in Switzerland in early June. My favorite city was Zermatt. Zurich train station was pretty cool :)

My wife (then girlfriend) went to Zurich in 2006 the day after Christmas. We stayed in Zurich but took trains around to see Lucerne, Rhein Falls, Interlaken, and back to Zurich. They have a wonderful New Years Eve party in Zurich with fireworks over the lake. I proposed to her at those fireworks. Here we are in 2023 married with two beautiful daughters we hope to bring to Switzerland in the next few years. We had the brats from Vorderer Sternan more than once. I miss that country!

I did it.. I have watched every single video from day one including every travel tip vlog and even Missouri videos LOL. From you almost staying in a teepee with spiders in West Texas to cool windmills in Greece. Love the adventures and I guess now I'll have to wait until you post new ones like everyone else. Wow, I've never actually had the urge to go to Switzerland but this made me change my mid. That water is so turqoise and the city looks so cute 😮
Definitly recommend you to come here once. I love living here, it's small but it's beautiful, so clean too and also very safe. The water is always clear, you can actually drink from most natural water sources :)
Switzerland is very beautiful and scenic. I did not go to Zurich but flew into Zurich and stayed in Interlaken.The mountains and lakes are pretty. Hiking is fun. Parts of Switzerland are so different so that you have visit different places to experience Switzerland. There are places with waterfalls.

I went to Mt Titlis in October 2010... Because of the altitude change there was a 20ºC temperature drop (from +4º to -16ºC) from town to peak...

The pedal boat looked so fun! Between the stairs in the church and pedaling around the lake, you certainly burned some calories that day. There's something so satisfying about a naked sausage just wrapped in paper, grilled to perfection, then dipped in really good mustard. Neither of you said anything about the pretzel, so I'm thinking it wasn't all that? These abbreviated vlogs always leave me wanting more detail and insight....

Great video. Zurich looks like a beautiful picturesque place and the water looks clean and clear. I’ve never been to Zurich but watching this made me have the urge to visit Zurich and parts of Switzerland. It is definitely one of our favourite country in europe to travel. The water is not blue. It's turquoise. A mixture of blue and green. :) Been to Zurich for the first time one week ago. I loved it.

I must admit, Zürich is not my favourite Swiss town, bur you really managed to capture how beautiful it is in the summer. Looking forward to your Titlis vlog. It is very touristy, but the views from the top are pretty awesome.

Guys we are totally digging your Europe vlogs! We have been to Switzerland in winter, but wow it’s looks stunning in summer! And that view of Zurich was totally worth walking up all of those stairs! 😍 although we don’t know about those swans... they look a bit scary!
It's not just that they look a bit scary, they can actually be quite aggressive.

I've only travelled through Zurich, never stayed there, but I have been to other parts of Switzerland. I really love the scenery and as you said the colour of the water is fantastic. It is a little pricey, but like anywhere, you can find cheaper places to eat if you try. I hope you guys enjoy your time there. Are you staying just in Zurich or do you plan to visit any other towns/regions?
Yeah, the thing is, Cities like Zurich or geneva for example are very expensive because they ae big cities and many tourists go there. There are many places who are much cheaper, you just gotta search for it :)
You need to go to Geneva, Lucerne, Bern, and see the Matterhorn. If you can do these by train it's really spectacular. Sorry just started watching you and am catching up

Ms Iam Everythang almost everyone in Zurich speaks English very well. In fact, I’ve never had much trouble anywhere in Switzerland finding someone who spoke English. There are 4 official languages in Switzerland, but in Zurich, you’ll find they speak German.
Last been there in 1994, looks nothing much has changed...cafe Odeon used to be the most happening place in those times...
