    Words can not explain how amazing tactical bassin is to me. U and Tim explain things so so so well and in great detail that I'll learn new things on technics that I already know. Not one video is wasted on me. I never comment on anything on RUclips. But I had to say thanks and ur doin a great job. God bless u both and ur families. U guys deserve a lot.

    Thanks Matt and team. I am a nembwe fisherman in Zambia. I use most of your tip and they do work perfectly. Basically nembwe and bass have identical behaviors and that’s what makes it easier to follow your tips.

    Unless you need super sensitivity (jigging), an Ugly Stik Elite or even the Ugly Stik Pro Lite (Walmart $36) 7' MH sure gets the job done for rods. The big bass don't even phase em. Clamp on a Bass Pro Qualifier 2 reel (metal body, great braking system, good enough drag) and you're all good. You don't need that $200-$450 rod and $200+ reel lol... unless you have the cash to blow and want the best, then go for it!

    That Z-man finesse shroom head with the TRD craw is a great bait, especially if your lake has mostly crawfish. . Does really well fished very slowly in the wintertime too.

    My favorite argument with anglers is someone who has used say an Ugly Stik their whole life.
    And I say exactly what you said, “You can catch fish on anything, if you watch your line and look for deflections, but if you aren’t paying attention 24/7 to your line that’s when you miss fish. that’s why i buy Loomis, Shimano, St Croix, Dobyns

    I have a few of the edge first strike rods and I love them but I’ve recently been trying the edge delta rods and honestly for $150 you can’t beat them, they’re quality it up there with my first strikes and black widow.
    I think the delta is worth mentioning for someone who wants superior quality but doesn’t want to break the bank... anyways great vid guys👍

    I have my uncle's old Sahara 4000FA, thing's still amazing and I use it as my big fish spinning setup, catfish, muskie, striper, and of course for large swimbaits for giant Susquehanna smallies, it does it all. The only problem is finding decent-priced 1-4oz 7'&up rods that aren't built like surf rods or mushy catfish rods, so.

    I can relate to that FattyZ. Since I've started fishing again I have caught more large mouth bass on that one bait than all the others combined. Throw it on a pro shroomz ned rig or one of the bulletZ rigs and it is money! I typically fish heavily stained water and I have had the best luck with Green Pumpkin (no surprise here right) and black.

    • @ReelyFlyGuy
      @ReelyFlyGuy 5 лет назад +2

      To be fair thats most peoples budgets because you dont need a $300+ setup to catch fish. RUclipsrs spend a lot of fishing gear because it might be a full time job. Plus they do seem to get compensated very good. There seems to be a market for unbelievably expensive gear like most "good" hard swimbaits are upwards of 300 dollars because they are in high demand.

    • @muskietime
      @muskietime 5 лет назад +1

      Georgia Bassmasters With limited money, focus on getting the best reel you can afford as it will telegraph bites and pickups faster than any other piece of equipment. A smooth drag is priceless. Many fish are lost when a fish fights and the drag binds. Smoothness when cranking will help telegraph bites. Plus, you can move the reel to other rods. Wishing you the best. Oh, and remember, unless you abuse your equipment, that purchase will be useful for over your next 25 plus years.

    • @GeorgiaBassmaster

    How do you cast the Zman worms/stick baits? The material sucks all the energy out of a cast.
    I’m 65 and have been using them since they came out.
    I’ve fished most of my life, Really.
    How about some 2 pc rods?

      TPHVICTIMS Good question. I use 7’ St. Croix Premier 2-piece Spinning Rods with Medium Power, Fast Action, 12 to 15 pound test Berkley Nano-Fil Braid in White (if you are not watching your line, you are missing bites) joined to 6’-12’ of 8 pound test mono or flouralcarbon via the FG Knot on Shimano Stradic CI4+ 1000 size. I use this setup for largemouth & smallmouth bass in US and Canada whether fishing from bassboat or shore. Only other rods used are telescopic rods that fit in my motorcycle saddlebag (same reels and line as above). Hope this helps you.

    Do you guys use any more Z Man products? I just started using their “senko” because I wanted more durability and I just ordered a couple of their craws as well. Just wondering what you think of their baits in general.

      Bro they are fantastic, literally game changers over any other type of baits.
      Smaller lineup than most companies but every bait they sell is a stud
