I love watching the videos of the auctions and you’re probably right that guy didn’t know crap about that horse you see a lot of that in auctions just got a really pay attention and do your homework and know what to look for. That’s all we can do when we go to auctionsit’s like going to the casino sometimes you gamble
That pregnant Belgian had my heart 💜... Sucker for the grays , white,creams . The tan for $700 sounds just crazy low . Up ii. The north he would be in $3000 and up
I am so sad for all the horses. Most of the time they are treated disrespectfully. Especially at these horse auctions. When you look at them, you can see the proud sparkle in their eyes is gone. They are great, gentle souls that many people need to become aware of so they can finally change the way they treat them and build a much deeper connection with them.
That blue Roan Clydesdale would be in my yard next to the pregnant Belgian. My heart is going crazy. I told my husband that I just lost my heart horse and when I showed him those 2 he said get the truck ready and I cried 😭 We missed it already 😭
Last fall we went to that auction and it was the most horrid thing I had seen in a long time. Horses crammed in and getting bloodied by being kicked, horses drugged, horses sick, and ones that were bleeding and standing on the side of the hill. I can't believe that is allowed to go on anywhere. That wasn't my first auction and after an hour my husband asked if I had seen all I needed to see, and I kept looking for the silver lining and I couldn't find one. We ended up buying one from a private party that no sale'd her horse after she saw the conditions. I have nothing good to say except bigger isn't always better, and it was horrifying. We also rescued a mare from the kill lot in Ashboro, that was bought for meat at that same auction. Sound, registered, good mind, yet she was traumatized by her treatment. She has worked out of that, but I have NOTHING good to say about that place, and as far as I'm concerned should be shut down, permanently.
That looks like complete chaos in the shed. Can you imagine if one horse flips out and it's just rope tied in a confined area with others. Could end up with horses everywhere. Also looks potentially dangerous to be trying to check one when there's another unknown standing right next to it. I'd be worried about people getting kicked/bitten when the horses have had enough as it'd be pretty high stress for a lot of them to be in this environment.

Agree. It's a sad sad fate for these. The paint w infected eye broke my heart and when u said " stay away from that one" I knew what u meant but sounds so heartless. It needs care not avoidance. Yes, I'll get flack but who cares?!
@@ricklaurelnovotny4829sadly they can’t rescue every horse. she owns a rescue, and needs to get a healthier looking one in need of a home as its injuries can be fixed up. yes it’s very sad, but some horses just can’t be saved as it wouldn’t be fair and they don’t have the funds.

The approach you take with the horses you save is great. I've been following the alternative horsemanship channel on tiktok and you use many of the same methods. I'm so glad the world of horses and the people who love them has grown to accept your methods as best care.
As a first time watcher to your channel, I was lost on why you went to the auction. You mentioned one of the horses isn't the reason why you were there for but never explained why you were there for. i think a bit of describing things for viewers that isn't familiar with your channel can go a long way in getting more views (post editing) and retaining subscribers...
Why would you not rescue the houses in need ...I thought you were a rescue ...like the pore horse with the eye problem or the one with the rain rote again ...Iyou call yourself a rescue
My husband cant remember some of our ponies' names, even though we dont have that many, and most look very different from each other! :/ Its a guy think, partly, i think.

Not a superior auction venue. But that may be because I just recently saw footage of the huge, well-organized, mid-Ohio auction in Mt Hope.
