Glad it helped John! Thanks for your feedback. Cheers brother!
Thank you for the details such as the anti-seize and blue thread lock type! Especially the torque secs for the bolts on the wheel bearing! It is very helpful and I am glad that you as a mechanic are intrigued to help, to give such detail.
Avicii in the background!! Wake me up! Tududuudu! Thanks for video, pretty easily explained, cheers!
Appreciated your comment, Mike! Avicii in our heard!
Great video! it was very helpful for me to do it for the first time that kind of procedure for my car :)
Παρακαλώ!
Great video! But do not ever use compressed air to remove dust and rust from the brake system :) use brakeclean and a rug :D
Thanks for your feedback Jonathan! I probable didn't have one that time)
I had held my breath as long as I could..
Always use your goggles, and don’t forget your flip flops😂
...good idea, thanks)
Great thorough video, should have more views.
not with that annoying ass music in the background. WAY TOO LOUD!!
Good explanation step by step. Thanx
Glad it was helpful! Thanks Richard.
Beauty way to go!
No sweat! I am glad it helped you out. Thanks for watching Derek)
Great video man!
Happy Winter Holidays to you and your family! Yeah Buddy!
You hit that hub and it popped off for you. I've been hitting on mine harder and harder and I have not been able to get it loose! Yet. But thanks for the proceedure you showed! I got my bolts off without separating the control or tie rod though. It wasn't easy getting the 17 mm socket on the bolts but by pushing the axle inward and turning the wheel for the front and rear access the socket just fit. But the other hassle was the leverage with hand tools cause this way impact tools won't fit. But slowly the four bolts came out finally. But now the hub just will not budge. What is the trick. Do I need a puller?
awesome video! Thank you for sharing.
That's great, Lei! I'm so glad it helped you out) Thanks for watching and subscribing. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Don’t hit the end of the drive shaft with something steel as shown in the vid ,you can damage the spline on the end and it then won’t go back in😉
Thanks Falco!
Nice video. Thanx.
Thank you too!
Safety first guys! As he does the whole job wearing open toe sandal’s 😂
Good point Mark!
Awesome video!
Thanks you)
How did you get the lower control arm bolt to go back into the cradle at the very end? - after you rachet strapped the arm down. No matter what I do I can't get enough distance for bolt to go back in. I tried to jack up the entire wheel assembly to compress shock spring, but it just starts lifting car!

Благодарю Влад! Всех благ вам и вашей семье!
Thank you for a great video :-) But i wish it was without the music.. ;-)
You are welcome Tore Andre! Sorry about that.
You are using the torque wrench wrong. When it clicks you shouldn't continue torquing the nuts.
Thanks for your feedback.
When will we need to change this bearings? For ex. How much kilometers rolled this bearing ( you said that 10 years but how much kilometers) can you answered it?
I replaced original Volvo bearing on my vehicle at 250K km when it started to wore out. Seems like they last quite long time.
Thanks for watching! Cheers.
hey great video man!
do i need t reset after replacement?
Hi Franco, Thanks for watching) Well after you replaced wheel bearing you have to do wheel an alignment to prevent uneven tire wear.
I think that your feet also need some goggles
Good point Danny! Work boots are always better choice. Thanks for watching.
@@PistonShack thank you for the video, Im sure it will help me with a similar task on my XC90 ;)
Grease to the outside of a sealed bearing? Dude, on the splines!
Yeah, I will agree with you, it was not necessary. Applied a bit of grease to prevent corrosion on the connecting mental part.
wondering what year and make volvo it is.
Hey Michael. Mine is 2001 Volvo V70XC
Thanks, but please learn how to use a torque wrench.
Thanks for your feedback!
Are you in Canada? I need the black license plate hanging up...
Yup. What is black licence plate?
@@PistonShack top left corner of the video there is a black license plate. I'm trying to collect every black licence plate I can to hang up in my shed..
"....and keep going. "
Thanks brotha!
"Prime Choice"..."very quality products"...are you kidding..??a respected manufacturer has a name not that stupid chinesse name...thats a cheap part there...;)that will need changing soon...
I agree. He made a very good video. But he should have spent a little more money and got a quality brand like Timkin or FAG, not that Amazon Chinese off brand.
Great video but awful music
Thanks!
I can't even get axle shaft out. 🥲😅
Any luck?
@@PistonShack on the first day no. 2 broken pullers down. In the next day bought new one and after few hours success.
