What a nice sounding exhaust. It’s beefy. Now people can hear you. Congratulations on the bike and exhaust. The tail area looks so much better without that long can hanging off the side.
I installed this exhaust myself too.. lol, I can relate with you when you say good luck with those springs and tightening the bolts on headers. Took me forever
Love the content bro! I am a bmw guy and I’ve been wanting a bike forever lol. But def keep up with the great content. There’s this guy named Kies who has a channel called kies motorsports. Similar to you he made content to help others work on their f30 bmws and now his page has really grown so i can def see that happening as you create more content on this bike gaining sponsors and more! Stay safe and looking forward to your content!
Lmao it’s so sad you have to tell people to put oil back into their bike. You’re right though, someone WOULD do it and then try and blame you because apparently nobody takes accountability for their actions anymore. Anyways bike sounds great, I’m definitely gonna do the Arrow header on my bike with the stock Akra slip on initially. I live in a neighborhood where I’m the youngest person by far, so maybe with the stock can they’ll hate me a little less. If I were to replace it after hearing/seeing yours that would definitely be the move. Thanks for the vid 👍
Where did you get those tank pads from brother!!? my s1000rr is having the same exhaust fitted this week... this video has made me even more excited !!
I’m having some issues lining up one pipe. I took it in and out 5 times and spent over 5 hrs installing. Not counting removal. Just seems like it doesn’t line up
Is there a way you know of that keeps this from voiding any warranty? Or is that not really a concern on your end, over performance and sound benefits? Thanks
Installing an exhaust/tuning does not void your warranty. No dealer has the right to void your warranty on sight. The manufacturer can if the dealer proves that whatever damage is in connection with what you did.
@@N31LE your response is a bit contradicting to itself. I understand that the dealer has nothing to do with the warranty. But if modifications are present that may even slightly (negatively) affect the engine in any possible way...any motorcycle warranties I have looked over, have stated that it is high probability of voiding warranties. So this is why I was inquiring, as this is a very new BMW and is NOT cheap to replace anything on your own dime, IF something was to go wrong. Being that I have just purchased a brand new Ducati, and the exhaust is quite lame, I was hoping that there may be loop holes or specific exhaust modifications or steps to take, that will allow for these types of modifications to be accepted by the manufacturer. ALSO understanding that not all manufacturers will follow the same protocol on this, I was in search of a place to start.
Again.. installing an exhaust/tuning does not automatically void your warranty. Every vehicle I own gets/has been modified. Never once had an issue with warranty work. I did a video when I had to take my BMW back to the dealer for warranty work, showed the entire process including the end, those guys have told me they watch my videos, so they know everything ive done. I'm not sure how far youre going on your Ducati but an exhaust with no tune or even with a tune will not void your warranty. You can pay the dealer to install the exhaust you want AND tune the bike via BT moto but thats depending on your pockets obv. Now that being said if you do the install yourself and punch a hole in the radiator, snap a stud, break a sensor, your bike dies mid tuning and you brick your ECU, you choose to raise your rev limiter via the tune and blow your motor obviously they're not going to help you. But an exhaust and a tune with everything done correctly and you're not abusing the vehicle isnt going to void your warranty.
For the record, I did say to plug it back in... lol. 8:19, I said it twice.. Once flashed, you should not need it. Mine is completely off the bike, BT moto handheld should take care of that, if not contact support.
When you bought the exhaust for your bike did you get the round end cap with mesh option or did you go with the sound insert option and just remove the insert to have the pipe opened
Hi! Thank you for your video and the time you took to make it. Did you do any engine reprogramming after the change? How does it work with the BMW warranty?
I didn’t. I was waiting for my Brentune to come in. I had the bike dyno’d to check to see if it was running lean/rich and the fuel ratio was adjusted perfectly by itself.

Did anyone get a "Fault in the Engine Control" after putt the full exhaust on? I got it and even after I got it tuned with the handheld it stayed on. @N31LE
When he said something about bolt holes in 8:18, I lowkey looked at my my bike like, oh you have those too🙈

Thanks 👍
I finally get my full Austin racing exhaust tomorrow after waiting six months. This video is going to come in CLUTCH for the install!
I installed this exhaust myself too.. lol, I can relate with you when you say good luck with those springs and tightening the bolts on headers. Took me forever

Did your bike come with the M rear sets? Or did you buy them afterwards?
Came with them
Did you remove the db killer ?
I torqued the manifold nuts without the springs and had no problems 🤔
And before the manifold piping just the collector of course
Is it okay to tighten the header bolts before mounting the headers?
No sir, gotta put the headers in the flanges first then tighten them down.
@N31LE Also, you didn't descreibe if you plugged in the servo motor. You just showed screwing it back on but didn't say if we connect the clips.
For the record, I did say to plug it back in... lol. 8:19, I said it twice..

@N31LE did you have to remove the radiator fan ? I’m currently doing my exhaust and it’s a super tight area to work on 😅
No sir put mine on with the radiator still on
When you bought the exhaust for your bike did you get the round end cap with mesh option or did you go with the sound insert option and just remove the insert to have the pipe opened
Sound insert

@N31LE did you have to remove the radiator fan , I’m currently installing my new exhaust and it’s a really tight spot
Do you need Servo buddy on that exhaust system?
Watch the video. I explained in detail what you need to do literally 5 minutes in..
Did you tune the bike or just ran it stock after install?
Ran it stock
changing that oil filter looks to be a pain
Its about the same as any other bike
Did you get a servo buddy or just left the motor?
Left the motor. I ended up just disconnecting it and taking it out completely. No codes
Why you didn't show you putting the springs on the headers
Why would I. It’s self explanatory..
Weird question, but how tall are you? I'm 5'6" and I'm scared to be too short for this bike.
I’m 6 ft even. You can lower these bikes up to 2 inches
Where did you get your tail tidy?
Motomillion!
Where did you buy them tank grips?.
