I have to thank you so much for this amazing video. I was able to install my headers with no issues. My first cold start was insane. Keep up the great job. Absolutely appreciate all the hard work you but into this video.

Finished up the install on my bike hardest part had to be putting the 2 hangers in the middle of the headers lol Although the job was a little challenging saved myself $500 bucks by not paying the shop to do it haha
Really like to know why arrow say not to tighten header bolts first, I would say do that as it won’t likely have any affect except make it a hell of a lot easier

Why didn't you assemble flange before putting it on the bike.
After taking the stock exhaust off myself on my 2022 s1000rr I don’t think i can go through this again with putting my new exhaust on 😂🤦🏻♂️
I fitted my own also but I disconnected all 4 of the O2 sensors. The little extra work was wort it to me to avoid twisting o2 sensor wires so much .

You need to buy a Exhaust Servo Eliminator and plug It in the same place of original one of the bike. It's uses to turn off the engine light.

I have a S1000R 2022 like yours and I am planning on buying the aftermarket full exhaust however my worries are the computer and the sensors will my dash have all kinds of alarms going off.. Do I need to take it to the dealer or will it recognize the new full exhaust??
Will they give me hard time at dealer warranty related or so??

About the arrow headers and found i’m having issues with lining up the headers to the flange it’s like the cylinder 4 header is about a half inch off but anything i do does work any advice? I also was able to connect 3 just not all 4

Is the Arrow headers to avoid the $4,000 price tag for the SC full system? If so, im going to do that! And do you just need an ECU flash? or a dyno tune?
Yea trying to save some $, we didn't care it's not titanium. We recommend a flash at the very least. We went with Brent tune.

Yea can remove the cables and leave the servo plugged in. If you remove the servo completely it'll throw a cel

What a pain in the butt of a design.. I would skip the whole bike entirely. Note to self. Plus the cops here in so cal are cracking down on Catless exhaust, cars and bike.

Hi Bill, please tell me what did you do to keep the warranty after replacing the exhaust and headers. My Houston area bmw dealers are telling me that my warranty on my 2024 S1k will be voided if I change the exhaust and the headers.

I'm looking for answers about remapping after switching to a full exhaust on the 2022/2023 S1000Rs. My previous attempt to upgrade to the Akrapovic Full Exhaust System, along with BT Moto Performance Calibration, resulted in an unrideable first gear, requiring me to feather the clutch. Despite seeking help from both BT Moto and the shop I used, the issue persisted. Is it possible to avoid software adjustments after upgrading to a full exhaust? Furthermore, I'm curious about any potential negative impact on the motorcycle's performance from riding without a remap or retune. If there are any adverse side effects, what's the safest method of remapping to optimize engine performance while avoiding any potential issues?
Question. Why did you reinstall servo motor with a Bt Moto tune?
Wasn't sure if it needs to come off or not. It can and we just didn't have the time to remove it.

Hello, I would like to know if a complete Austin race system can be installed on the motorcycle. I have the same bike as yours but on the Austin page it appears available only for the RR model. Do you know if it is the same or is it useful for the R? thanks and good job.
Do you need a tune to run aftermarket header?
The BMW has a self adjusting ecu. But it's highly highly recommended to tune it.

Why fit the headers that way? Would it be easier to build them inc springs on the bench and then fit?
This probably saved me 2 hours on my 2022 s1k installing my Austin racing system.

Is the exhaust (not the heaters)compatible with s1000xr 22?
Wouldn't a modified coat hanger be the trick for the center ones? Come from the bottom.

This system will not fit a 2018. Websites typically have all the specs what fits for which model year bikes, it's pretty straight forward to figure out.

Servo is still there. It thinks it's doing something but the wires are disconnected.

Titanium vs stainless? I know the weight but is it worth 900$ difference?
A) How long will you keep your bike? B)Is seeing the metal turn blue worth 7-900 dollars? For me-- I don't keep my bikes more than a couple of years at most and I could care less of the metal turns blue--- so for me not worth it.
Would you run a Dyno test after this is over? It would exciting to see new power gains.

What size Tite Reach did you use? 1/4" or 3/8"? I'm about to install a M1000RR stock titanium Akra and noticed that there's a pretty large dimension difference between the 1/4" & 3/8" Tite Reach socket extensions, I don't want to get the larger and not be able to reach the nuts!
It's the 3/8 size. I also used a combination of extensions and swivels. Good luck

Is there any significant reason to not torque the flanges to the head before lining the pipes up and springload them in place?
Yes. To allow movement & proper alignment of entire exhaust system as a whole. If you torque flanges first they won’t be aligned & possibly have exhaust leak.

If you're not going to tune it, yes you'll need a servo buddy. I recommend getting the bike bren tuned.

I want to use the same Leo Vince slip on exhaust you have used in your video. I called revzilla about this and they don’t know. I can’t order without knowing if the mix. And match.
