Hello and happy Valentine’s Day. I followed your instructions step-by-step to install my stage one. I am now ready to install stage two. And I was just wondering is that different than stage one. Or am I sending them my stage one and then they’ll give me a file back for stage two? I hope my question makes sense.I already have my stage one file on my desktop. Just a prepare me for this. Do I just copy and paste that or do I download it off the bike like I did the stock file? Thank you.
My Streetfighter feels so much better with the Brentune, the throttle response was something I immediately noticed as well as the fan kicking on sooner. Great video 👍🏽👍🏽✌🏽
@@robertwotring7318 funny your say that. I almost feel like I lost horsepower too. I haven't rode it in a while before doing the tune so I dismissed it thinking maybe i just forgot what it was like. But that's the first thing I noticed when I threw the gas to it was that it lost its punch. I think I'll go back to stock and see if it comes back. If so, I'll be emailing brentune to see what's going on
Excellent video! I would like to know the difference in requirments and specs between BT tuning Stage 2 vs 1. Also, is it necessary to have installed Stage 1 prior to installing Stage 2? What hardware is necessary in each case? Thank you!
Great videos bro, I have same setup less tune, so im really curious to see dyno numbers after tune. Many people asking you the same as there is almost no real dyno runs out there. Finish it of with stock, stage 1 and stage 2
It would, but it seems like they want to pull the current logic and make adjustments. May help keep it more discreet when going back to dealers and they also may have some A/F history to pull from for adjustment
Mate I liked your face expression when you start the throttle 😅I want one I guess this will be the best update to my new s1000r 22 and I want your support What about the hp and torque and max speed
I just bought a 2023 S1000R. Will the BMW dealership install the tune for me? I plan to keep the cat and stock exhaust so is it still worth it? Thanks!!
Hey Bill. Like always, you provide the best content. Thank you for taking us through the journey. I'm not a fraction of the rider you are but was wondering if the weight (on upgrading the exhaust system) is noticeable on day-to-day rides on the streets and canyons? I have a DRZ supermoto. at 147 KG, it is a world apart from my S1000 RR at 19X KG.
hey cali moto your videos are cool. I have a question I have a s1000rr 2022 brand new I dint do the first service yet. can I make stage 2 to my bike thanks for the help
The stage 2 is just the tune, stage 3 is the whole deal with the flapper delete and relocation of the temp sensor. We ended up doing all of it to the s1000r.
Hey man, was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions/give me your opinion on my bike and what is needed for it if anything at all?? The shop I bought it from is saying it’s fine and i think it needs a new map because it has an Austin racing de cat on it. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated!
That’s what I thought as well. Actually right after I wrote this message I got a call back from a shop in New Hampshire and he said the same thing that it needs a new tune, but also that they do them there! So I’ll be bringing my bike up there in a couple weeks and hopefully that solves the issue! Thanks for the response. P.s. I just put some Bestem carbon fiber on it and it looks pretty sweet!
@@CaliMotoTV Yeah, a good battery and don't do it in a lightning storm I guess and you should be good. The greater risk would probably be knocking something and an accidental disconnect. But you would never do that though *cough, exhaust, cough*
just ordered a t-shirt. thank you for this tutorial just did stage 2 on my 22 s100r and this series saved me TONS of time!!!
Thanks for the support! Means a lot 🙏
Thank you for this Video Bill. I’m having some frustration setting up my handheld from my previous S1000r. Great Vid.
Your video is A1!!! but, BUT! Your garage disarray is KILLING ME!!!!! LOL...LOL!!
😅
Awesome! thanks for taking the time to do this.
Yess, can't wait to hear this thing ripping through the mountains
@@CaliMotoTV is that like a tomorrow upload orrrrr...??

Will you do a dyno run with the new tune and see the power gain?
Would be interesting to see

I installed this on my 21 SFV4 and BMW. I noticed a much better result on the BMW. Now much at all on the SF
@@ARyanCoke Interesting 🧐 maybe it’s just me? Well I did install exhaust with it so possibly just the excitement factor.
@@Whatever_Rad lol yeah. I installed the Akro "slip on" ( I use the slip on term lightly) and still never noticed an increase with the tune
@@ARyanCoke my buddy lost about 20 horse with BrenTune on his Sf. Vs the other two big options.
He tried two dynos. Both are subpar.

😳. I'm sending my bike to you. Bro you woke up the Beast!..
Just ordered my bren for my fighter even though it's a diff bike thank you for the reference video seem like your happy with bren products
We'd encourage you to go with upmap for a Ducati. There's a ton of videos on our channel on that bike.
@@CaliMotoTV any particular reason not to go bren for the duc? You have more experience on these bikes

another great video thankyou!
Very thorough, my biggest concern with these tuners is possibly bricking the ECU. Your background laptop photo is awesome haha.
Update: they sent me S2 right off the bat…who knew..!? Thank you! Apologize for rant…😊
Great job 👏
Fantastic video. Too bad the tuner doesn’t come with the map you want already installed, seems like it would make this process a lot easier.

Bought the stage 1 flash for my gen 3 S1000R and I have to say thanks for the video. Really helped
Glad we could help! Thanks for watching

No it's really not.
Hi Bill, I’m currently stage 1 with Akrapovic headers and titanium slip on. Bike is running great. Is stage 2 worth paying $300 over stage 1? Thanks
Great content thankyou
Will you use Brentuning on your SFV4S? Interested to see how that will make a difference then Up-MAP tune 🤔
Nope.
Sounds great
Wow, amazing sound...
Agreed 💪

Are you going to do a before and after dyno?
@@CaliMotoTV that's right I do remember seeing the baseline, my bad! Looking forward to see what it can do after the tune :)
Look forward to your comments after a ride on the track or road? Thanks.
Did you do the dyno and get an update on the numbers ?
Sound really awesome 👍. Let’s go for a ride 🏍.
How many HP brenn tuning are reclaiming with your mods and tune?
I‘m from germany. Is there a chance to get this tune for my RR ?
Hit up Bren Tuning directly.
hey man, does it also eliminates the top speed limiter?
Yes should.
Hey bud I have a 2019 S1k RR what’s the difference between the stage 2 & stage 3.. I was going to go with the stage 3??

@@CaliMotoTV thanks man, good to know gonna make my order for a stage 3 tonight.
Nice! Good choice.
@Denzel Cox , stage 2 & stage 3 the difference is that BT collect more money , they can make only one flash with all included…..

Do you gonna do another dyno run with the brenTuning to see the gains?
We're hoping to.
