I need to install the radiator guard but after seeing how much work is required to remove the fairings, I’m thinking twice about it… thanks for the vid!
If fitting a BMW oem radiator guard set, you only have to remove the right side fairing pieces and the lower left fairing piece also 1 bolt from the inner guard and 1 clip (you will see which ones), you can then remove the whole inner guard assembly and fit the guards, Thanks for this vid it was super helpful in working out how to remove the fairings, much appreciated.
This video was amazing! I followed it step by step and I mounted the radiator guard set. I also pulled a cable from the back-end to the steering wheel all the way through the bike guided under the tank. I am absolutely not technical. But this helped me out! Thanks alot! Tommorrow the duoseat mount, tankpad and battery charger plug are up next. Wish me luck!
17:29 Can you see that bottle? that´s the Evaporation fuel canister... you could have uninstalled it taking advantage of the fact that you had it on hand and less weight for your bike. I want to see the results, my guess is 178hp
@CaliMoto TV - the most important part you missed to show- how did you actually put radiator grill inside??? i cant figgure out, because nothing seems hold grill in between plastics- i cant proper fix it :( :( - maybe grill from RR does not fit on to R? or i need some special clips to attached them ?
Good Morning Bill, Would you mind letting me know if the fairing removal process is the same for the M1000R? I want to do the rad guard install, but don't want to risk removing anything unless I can find instructions on how to reassemble. Thank you for your videos!
Great video thanks!. Silly question but do you need to drain the tank for this or does it have a stop valve to prevent fuel coming out when you disconnect the fuel line?
Hello Bill, what do you think of the M1000R coming out in January 2023? Is it worth buying or is the current or new Ducati Streetfighter V4s better? Which of the bikes would you prefer? I can not decide.

No need to drain the tank, it has a stop valve.
Thanks you For thank instructions.....🤣
👌
Can you run the headers with the stock pipe so it doesn't sound like my hearing will die?
hi! is it normal that through that couple vent hoses, when rain, expulse water?
Not sure, sorry. Our bikes don't sit out in the rain.
10/10 thx!
🙏
Hardest part is remembering which screws/bolts go where.
"Please be gentle with her, I know you are eager to get her naked, but don't rip her dressing off"
Generally good advice I'd say.
Boom!
