It blows me away every time I install a new titanium exhaust that bag of hardware always feel heavier than headers/mid pipe together! Its insane how much physical weight you can remove off a bike these days using ANY of the systems you offer on your site! I've ordered and installed 8 different exhaust systems personally off your site and even comparing the Akrapovic Evo system to the Akrapovic Racing Line SS system we couldn't tell them apart besides the color difference! I think I've ordered one of every single system besides that SC-PROJECT SC1 R full system for the K66-K67 and the quality is always been superb! Love the build Mani!
Titanium is the way to go imo. I installed graves works link full titanium exhaust, graves block off plates, P08 filter, graves VE2 velocity stacks, lithium ion lightweight battery, and Chris Moore ecu flash and wow whole new bike & sound. Massively notice the weight reduction after new part installation on 23" ZX6R
@ravenmoto5948 you may be right, i know he uses woolich software for most tunes. At mercy of software i believe, he will eventually if that's your choice of tuner
It's actually a brilliant idea to keep the oem muffler and just change the headers. The oem muffler looks perfect on this machine, I would have done it the same way 👌👌
I ordered Arrow header and mid-pipe today, as in this video, for my '23 M1000R competition. I will also re-use stock muffler-. Mine has the BrenTune stage 1- Tune which helped the sound some but enough to match the character of the rest of this bike
I like the stock muffler. The mount to rearset Vs the hangar bracket off rear subframe; -Transmits less vibration W/ the rubber isolation grommet W/ stock rearsets or Giles etc. - Looks cleaner 🤙 Me likely. The kinda details you only are led to by doing it a few times. Curious if you have any input on the white Akrapovic ceramic joint grease supplied with Akrapovic Titanium Evolution full system? The main instruction do not make any mention about it?! But the little paper with grease says your not ready for step 1 until all joints are greased! Huh? How many caught that after system was installed? Quite a few I’d guess. Less vibration if used? Not a issue if not done? Akrapovic representative said “optional” when I pointed out it should be detailed in main 26 page instructions if required. No biggie if optional but the verbiage “not ready to install until ALL joints are greased!” Mind that reverberation which can suck excess grease into engine and detonate your power plant😮 Read the paper folded into tiny square with white ceramic grease if you want to 😅 If so critical Akra could do it before shipping if dead pony is result of incorrect amount. Would make head joint slip on much easer if guess? It’s a tight fit fo sho when you shove em in dry! 😂
It looks and sounds awesome. I would leave it like that. Do the flash and take it to the dyno, you will be amazed by the power that stock muffler is making. I've got a 2022 model S1000RR with only the silencer box removed and the power gains were shocking.
What are your thoughts on shorter mufflers? Like the SC Project ones or Austin Racing ones? Curious since I think majority of the ones you guys use are long mufflers. The stock stock muffler sounds sick already 😂
We think they're great! However, they are significantly louder 😂 We'll be testing different slip-ons with our Arrow header, so we'll definitely have a shorty muffler on at some point

I think a shorter muffler would look better and expose the rear wheel a bit more. Sounded good for a stock muffler though. Austin racing GP1R would have been my choice.
I am pretty sure we will be changing the muffler in the future. We were actually curious to see how the stock muffler sounds with a header, and were pleasantly surprised!
Lovely mod!! What about manufacturing a part to fit the the exhaust where the sever motor is located so you can remove the server motor install the part keep the factory exhaust with server motor and catalytic removed .
The servo motor does not help much, these bikes have the shift cam system which retains a lot of low end torque. They make more low end torque than a Panigale V4.
I know you have the contacts and ability to make aftermarket mods , like you did to be hang the exhaust for the Ducati . So you can design a mod so they can remove the servo motor and catalytic and install the mod in that space and have the factory exhaust system with servo and catalytic removed .

It maybe a little hard to swap headers for the dyno, but the dyno numbers we do are very consistent and we should be able to comment on the power differences. But in all honesty both brands are pretty equal in terms of power gains.
This is a great option, rather that buying the entire exhaust. I will pick my 2024 S1000rr with the M package, and the optional carbon fiber wheels in a couple of days. Can’t wait to get rid of that ugly and restrictive cat and silencer.

The Arrow Competition exhausts sounds amazing. 650ib has an Arrow on his M1000RR, and it sounds so good. This was a very tough choice for us, which is why we went with the Arrow header. We'll be able to swap the slip-ons until we find the perfect one to suit our tastes!

Sound and power are extremely similar. Go with the brand you like. Arrow titanium header is slightly lighter and is more cost effective. The sound is usually determined by the muffler you have on there.
Sounds wicked. Not sure what the exact word to use but, there's a certain growl on that exhaust which I really like. Tho the different header and can brand ticks my ocd but it's cool 😅🤙 Looking forward for the next episode!
The brands aren't really stamped on the headers but I understand where you are coming from. Although they are both great brands, this doesn't mean we may not ditch the Akra can for an SC Project or a Arrow muffler later on.

It all depends on what sound you want out of your bike. On our M1000RR, we did the Arrow header with the OEM Akrapovic muffler, and later upgraded to the SC Project SC1-R Slip On. We have yet to do a dyno comparison between mufflers, but it is something we plan to do to truly see the difference in power
They are both great brands. Arrow makes the exhaust systems on some Pagani cars, this is a little known fact. That goes to show you the quality of their work. Well Akrapovic... Doesn't need any introduction. We would say chose the brand you like between those two.

Not long at all! For us it was about 3 hours, however, that is with us filming the video and setting up for certain shots, etc. This could be done in an hour, or hour and 30 minutes easily
(my comment is not in the video) when I first saw the high mount exhaust of the ducati SP2 I was not a fan of it but after a while it was ok now if I have a ducati I will put it on the exhaust

Nice bike...good job as always by motomillion. But change things a bit....try to test new exhaust parts...always on arrow or akra... If i had one i would try first the new arata systems or the spark, Then compliment it with dna filter or sprint po8 plus the stacks
We keep certain brands only because they have done a lot of R&D before they release a product. This is mainly because they are technical partners of some major race teams which they develop these products for. Not willing to compromise on stuff like this to put on other name brands just for the sake of being different. An exhaust system is not just a series of bent pipes, there is a lot more to it than that.

That's actually the Arrow full titanium header! We opted for the stock Akrapovic muffler to see how it would sound, but maybe we'll try out an Arrow slip-on next :)
Would be nice to add a clip of it riding by, reving it in a garage dont give the true sound... at this point in your youtube career you should have a db reader.

The stock headers are definitely not the same as the aftermarket ones. Everyone has the Akra short exhaust.

Servo motor is removed. USA bikes only throw a soft code for the servo motor removed. EU bikes will have a check engine light.

According to Akrapovic the Ti headers are 4.9 lbs
They definitely are not 4.9lbs with all the hardware to install.
We will weight it when we have some time in our hands.

That's actually the Arrow full titanium header! We opted for the stock Akrapovic muffler to see how it would sound, but maybe we'll try out an Arrow slip-on next :)

The OE exhaust can sounds better than the 900 dollar aftermarket Akra can!!
The OE can on the M1000RR and some S1000RR models are Akrapovic. It is an Akrapovic one on this bike too.

I think the exhaust should be shorter. Like moto GP style. Plus, it looks better than having a big end exhaust.
