The judge is acting like my ex when I found out he was cheating. “Who told you … who told you.” 🙄
Fr😂
Your ex said that was reverse
That is the BEST way to describe how the judge is being!
On point 😂
Acting like the US government when WikiLeaks released the collateral murder clip
I found it completely outrageous that a Judge would meet privately with prosecutors and a witness without the knowledge, consent or presence of the defendants. It is even worse that the Judge believed this meeting did not raise an appearance of impropriety by the Judge.
And the prosecuter should be held responsible too! She should have ethically said “no this is wrong!”
Yeah I wonder if the judge was offered, dare I say, side money
I believe it was the prosecutor who requested the meeting, not the judge.
@@charlottealbanese136I heard it was a dozen Big Macs 😮

After all this judges nonsense in this trial he needs to be off the bench and possibly disbarred
Yep. This is awful.
Too bad we can't talk about the elephant in the room.
Period 😮..
What is the elephant in the room? I've never heard of this case before and now into all this drama lol. @@scapps8173
Exactly 💯
Basically judge is saying if nobody finds out about something criminal, than it's not wrong
That's why he wouldn't let Steele make his record. Judge kept interrupting him, asking WHO told him.
Judge and Ms.Love are withholding exculpatory evidence as to the murder of Donovan Thomas, and the Judge did not want the defense or anyone else to find that out. Woody confessed to it!
Judge is just trying to cover his own butt by holding Steele in contempt and now ordering a show cause hearing to hold the one who told him in contempt.
Glanville is a freakin joke. He's a terrible Judge. He might as well be part of the Prosecution team, because that's what he acts like. It's disgusting.
And whoever tells on the illegal stuff gets in trouble. Does that mean cops should go to jail for arresting people who do illegal stuff?
This is dodgy and disgusting! I’m very put off. And it feels like the judge is trying to Silence Steele for calling the judge out. You can’t do that Mr Judge, that’s ugly
@@Lei-AICPhDWhat were the prosecution up to and why did the judge agree ?
Watching a lawyer on the right side of a rights violation stand ten toes down despite threats of jailtime and basically extortion/blackmail was unironically the hottest thing I've seen a lawyer do in a while. He said "I know I'm right" and called the Judge's bluff and now it's going to be so much worse than if it was just the whole ex parte meeting issue (edit: AND THE WITNESS WAS ALREADY SWORN IN!), which was already so wild. My poor bestie got like a near twenty minute rant about how absolutely absurd this judge was behaving in just this day alone. (Edit again: The way his co-counsel was like "Well I agree with him so if you hold him in contempt you should know I also know and agree and I should also then be held in contempt" Standing with him, also badass)
💯🎯⚖️
💯 and when the co-counsel said that I believe the judge responded with “well I didn’t ask you”. This was a target on the defense.
And not only was the witness sworn in , last court date he pleaded the fifth and after that “meeting” now he wants to testify ? Super shady
@@tng_abu3201 The correct thing to do would be to have a hearing with all parties, in chambers or in the courtroom. I imagine people backing out of testimony is a thing. Convincing them to get back on the stand and follow through is a thing, the way they were talking. There must be conversations/lectures available.
But the prosecution asked for ex parte, which implies something different. And the judge is freaking when a defense attorney found out. That's what caught my attention the most.
Hot ??? Yall are weird.
That lady totally handed the judge his ass and he has no clue. Everyone in that room has to think he's incompetent at this point.
Merchant is the bomb
It’s like they saw Karen read trial and said hold my beer lol WTH
This trial, KR trial and the Delphi trial.
😂😂😂
yup Aunt Bev saw this and is powering up her authoritative discretion. Brace yourself Defense ~ “In this cawtroom, I’m the law, and my wuhd is the final say!”
So true. Feels great to see The People fighting back on the privileged ruling class.
This trial has been going on for months now
Cases should NEVER be sent back to the same judge. That is just ridiculous to think that a judge that has been told publicly he was wrong, that the judge wouldn't automatically be biased at that point.
THIS
That is crazy
There's something wrong that the judge is more concerned with who told him (snitched) than with the fact that he did something EXTREMELY questionable and shady and won't explain. The definition of an unfair trial.
So, the judge, the prosecutor, and a witness have a meeting without the defense being present, and the judge refuses to release the record of the meeting. Apparently, it is the court's opinion that whatever was discussed is none of the defense's business. And when the defense attorney raises the issue, the judge jails him for not announcing who told him about the meeting. Why that is relevant, the judge never says. I mean, talk about a power trip. This judge is practically drunk with power on this. He really thinks his ish doesn’t stink
Well summarized. Horrifying circumstances, but well summarized 😦
The judge was throwing up smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that he created a reversable appellate error in this really big case by having ex-parte meetings with a witness and the prosecutor. Shame on all of them.
In this case, I understand the argument but in court, the source of any information is extremely relevant to any evidence presented. Doesn't make what the judge did right at all but the question would be normal for many other things.
I think it is great that these attorney’s raced down to stand up for the outrageous behavior in this case.
I stood up in my living room and did hard, slow claps when Lawyer pink blazer was letting the judge have it.
Ya she’s a rockstar
Sis you and me both!! Well I was clapping in my car and not in my living room! 😂😂
Sis you and me both! Well I was in my car clapping and cheering. I couldn’t quite give a standing ovation. But I sure was clapping! 😂😂
Ashley Merchant is THE QUEEN!
I could not STAND her during the RICO trial for election fraud, because she’s on the side I disagree with, BUT, she’s good at her job, so it’s frustrating lol! I don’t think ANYONE will deny that she is amazing at her craft! She was a total rock star.
U & ur dad looked so happy watching that lawyer do his thing. It was so sweet 🤩
If these things happen to rich defendants with multiple lawyers, imagine what is going on with the rest.
Well, apparently their languishing in one of the most dangerous jails in America waiting for trial because this one has been dragging on for years. 😢
@@windywednesday4166No , they are already convicted and serving time .

Imagine your wife had a meeting with her best friends, and u found out she was cheating. When u ask her about it, her only answer is, "Who told you?" No red flags at all
Absolutely the best I’ve heard yet! I’m stealing this! 🔥👏
It's not a red flag. Just a reasonable question for a person who is either cheating or has people around them who might say dumb shit to ruin their relationship.
@pretzelmaker3122 I feel in that moment I would tell the truth and then wonder where it came from. To just respond with wondering who told me without an answer is worrying.
Imagine the court reporter trying to capture these exchanges…
Thats a long ass day lol
Right?! It seems like it's improper courtroom protocol for people to speak over each other and might affect the record.
All I could think of as I watched her face! 😂
Like watching a drama reality show in real time and having to take down every word for the record.
If it were me, I might get too distracted sipping my tea and popping my popcorn 🍿 😅😂
Seems like a very difficult job even at a slow pace.

I'll say-- a contemptible leaker and judge may need timeouts, too! 😅
Isn't it sad that you now know as much as this judge does? You both learned it from the same people.

@@gagecarlsen3872They absolutely would have needed to inform the defense. Let’s not forget that the defense was there from 8:30-11 wondering “WTH is going on? Why are we being held in the dark? Why are the prosecutors and the judge not in courtroom?

Steele was not disrespectful in the slightest, the prosecutor has made slanderous comments about him throughout the trial and so has the judge by calling him “unprepared and unprofessional”. The judge called him this about a topic the judge was incorrect about and said it in front of the jury and did not correct the record in front of the jury when Steele proved him incorrect.

Interesting how people see things differently. I find him obnoxious. I guess that's why some juries can never come to a unanimous decision.
The Judge didn’t expect Ashleigh Merchant stepping in and teaching him the law 🤣 Golden!!
I hope this judge is disbarred after this case. He should also be investigated for criminal wrong doing. Every case he has presided over should be looked at. Then every DA and judge in Fulton county should be looked into

@@Dogslife906 not with I heard. There may have been another time, but the one I heard on Natalie chick’s video he just removed the “honorable”. He wouldn’t have been wrong if he had said dishonorable. He and that judge have gone back-and-forth for a year. Years ago when Glanville was a private practice attorney, Steele turned them in for an ethics violation. I’m sure he still holding a grudge!
He said honorable court and corrected to just say this court.
He started out with "This honorable court" but amended it to “Excuse me, This court"

The reason he pleaded the fifth was because he was told the immunity was for the state charges. He found out that the feds were also investigating and he was told the immunity would not cover the federal charges if any that’s why he pleaded the fifth.

No one should be in trouble for whistleblowing illegal stuff. Especially from a judge. It’s a chilling effect to think that judges can get away with illegal stuff and if someone tells on them then they’ll be thrown in jail. It’s corruption to the tenth degree in my opinion. We should applaud anyone who stops a judge from doing illegal stuff, not make them be scared of telling the truth.

*Order of how this played out- Copland was incarcerated by the DA and the judge for pleading the 5th. He came to court Monday in shackles and jail clothes. He “testified” more but was giving the state a hard time. The judge asked for a break. Then he told the Prosecutor (which was caught in Law & Crimes mics) that he was going to “Take the 5th” … They ended the day after that. The next morning. He comes to court in street clothes, No shackles. Steele then brings up the motion… the attorney that was Fired, was the stand in attorney who was present at the closed door meeting. At the end of the bs yesterday, the judge asks the state to go find her… then, this morning. Somehow the judge knows he wants to fire his attorney. Smh This is our judicial system at work! There are videos of the state and the judge sending “Signals” to each other during this S Show. The relationship between Love and this judge should be investigated. Something is off*
The whole bloody thing seems off to me! I haven't been following but my understanding is... this Fiasco has been going on for 2 years, it is costing a Minimum of $10,000 a day! ... and they're trying to coerce the criminal, who confessed to shooting somebody, to finger YT for renting him a car? ...all the while, dozens or maybe hundreds of people are languishing in the jail unable to get a trial. 😢 I'm sure I'm probably missing something.

The judge won’t even let the lawyers get a word out. Except the prosecution, who speaks in one long hysterical and incoherent sentence. This seems like corruption.
Could the Judge and Prosecutors all be reported to the bar association for all of this?
That's what I am wondering! The judge is already been reported and the "contempt" will probably be stayed by the end of the week. The rumor is that the judge and prosecutors were threatening / coercing the witness into testifying. If that's so, it seems to me that the prosecutors might be sanctioned too.
