The old saying, “a lawyer that represents himself has a fool for a client” comes to mind. If it’s considered foolish for a lawyer to represent themselves, imagine what it’s like for Sarah Boone, who is not a lawyer, who’s uneducated, and whose confidence is bigger than her competence.
Boones behaviour shows who the abuser was in her relationship with her victim. She was good at manipulating the police and legal systemto ensure he was locked up and called the abuser.
Yup. It’s what I’ve been saying since her 1st letter. It was obvious in the body cam and her interrogation too. Too many people were way too generous with their sympathies and giving her the benefit of a doubt that she not a narcisstic-like abuser (I also personally see other personality disorder traits in her.)
It’s that crying quite woman effect. Even her own ex-husband said she was abusive when she began drinking. I think the appearance of the victim, Jorge, allowed others to believe her too.
Thanks for covering this! And I think it will be about 3-4 weeks due to the judge likely needing to pause to dismiss the jury and explain things and set boundaries with Sarah.
I'm thinking that she may have missed the part when she locked her boyfriend in a suitcase and mocked him as he slowly died, begging for his life the whole time. I mean, I understand how easily one could overlook something so minor, but come on Sara.
She walks all over these attorney's treating them like garbage then wonders why nobody wants 2 defend her?! She thinks shes always the smartest person in the room yet can't figure out the rules 2 "Hide n Seek"!
I saw a video of a woman who said Sarah is writing these letter just for the public to see since she can’t speak on social media to tell her story. She knew the judge wouldn’t look at them but knew they would be put out for people to see. I thoroughly believe that.
Sarah, as she digs "I don't like holes, they're filthy and scary! Who would ever want to be in a hole." She's done digging, she jumps into the hole. "Who would want to be down here...this hole is filthy! I really hate this. Why did they put me in this hole??!" She starts pulling the dirt onto herself. "Oh great, now they're burying me in this filthy, awful hole? I don't deserve this! I was an A student in highschool and a non-functioning alcoholic for the last 20 years! We were having a GOOD DAY!" She's buried. "Mmmfmmfffffmmm. Mfffmmffff. A GOOD DAY!"
I can see Sarah Boone representing herself, losing her case, and then filing an appeal, and then her reason for appeal is ineffectiveness of counsel because she represented herself!!!🤣🤣🤣
The appeal would more likely claim that she was entitled to court-appointed counsel because she did not waive the right. That claim could probably be made in an interlocutory appeal, but I doubt Boone could do that herself. I don't think it would succeed, but I'm no expert.
Yep. Sarah Bafoon believes this letter will get the Judge to FORCE Cashman to "be nice" to her and put up whatever ridiculous defense Sarah has concocted. I bet Sarah was the biggest tattle-tale (aka SNITCH) in school. 😂
If she was afraid to let him out because she thought he would hurt her … she could have called 911 or her x husband to come let him out after she leaves! No excuse!
She’ll represent herself. If for no other reason other than she can’t keep her mouth shut, she can’t help herself. So if the trial starts, she will participate.
She killed him with his fear, she knew he was more afraid of her than the suitcase, he could never have imagined what she would do once he was completely incapacitated. I also don't believe he got in willingly..
Once Sarah finds out she has to represent her self and how hard it actually is, can she plead to the court to give her another lawyer? Or what happens if the judge says "no, represent yourself"?
Trial date is set and not to be delayed if SB asks for more time to prepare to represent herself. Train has finally left the station after almost 5 years delay
Technically, she doesn't HAVE to represent herself. All the judge ruled was that she's waived her right to a court-appointed attorney. So, while the court may have said "yeah, no, no more lawyers from us for you, thx", she can still, in theory, hire a private attorney to represent her case. That being said, at that point it's a matter of her being able to have the $$ for that (she doesn't), so for all intents and purposes, she's forced to represent herself.
PLEASE tell me you will cover Donna Adelson's trial, Georgia is actually a very good prosecutor to watch in action, and that is sure to be a circus as well. Thanks for all you do, P! Been around for a while now and so happy to see you hit 400K

I know she will be scribbling away at a new letter as soon as she found out she'd have to represent herself. 🤣😂🤣 She's going to be complaining about everyone from the Judge, prosecution and the jurors when the time comes. _good grief_
Props to the new judge for bringing the hammer down. I was beginning to think she had single-handedly checkmated the system, and was going to spend her entire 25-or-so-year sentence at the jail delaying her trial, and then get credit for time served.
Does Sarah realize how many times she's pointed her finger at others? So for each blame she's put on others she's pointed at herself 3 times that amount.
With all the evidence that determined the 2nd Degree Murder charge, the last 4+ years has been an epic waste of time. She has a snowball's chance in hell of beating the rap.
This trial will be entertaining to watch now that she has to defend herself. She will be appalled each time she’s objected to in disbelief she made a mistake. Gonna find out the hard way she isn’t smart after all.
When you look at her behaviors from at the crime scene & the interrogation up until the judges ruling that her days of abusing & disrespecting the process including a parade of court appointed attorney are over, you get a frightening glimpse into how manipulative, self entitled, delusional, controlling & deeply rooted in denial she has shown herself To be. She decided at the interrogation that "living without Jorge" was punishment enough. And she has decided that because she claims she didn't intend to kill Jorge Torres, that she is now somehow the victim. She refused to see that that's not how our legal system works.. and there is plenty of evidence just released to the public that puts a huge question mark on what her intentions were. Even if there wasn't presence of certain evidence she still would've been charged with a crime in my opinion. I wonder if the state will be allowed to present evidence of the details of why this case has taken close to five years to get tried. I'm no lawyer, but I think it is very relevant to show a jury the pattern of behavior this defendant has exhibited these past 4.5 years, the lengths she will go, the lies she will tell, the baseless disrespectful mug slinging she'll throw, or the unfounded self serving nonsense that comes out of her mouth when she doesn't get what she wants, doesn't get her way or things aren't going as "planned" i think it's important to show the total lack of respect she has for the judicial system, no line she won't cross, and her need to control things that are not for her to control, ie PD dropping out like flies. I think the evidence speaks for itself, but it might be helpful in the interest of justice, to show her as the person she is, not the person she wants to be seen as. Those are two very different people.. ,
OMG is she going to have a say in voir dire??? I cannot imagine her ever finding even one juror that she thinks is smart enough to sit her trial. How will that work? I can see her dragging it out forever.
You are only allowed to dismiss for clear specified reasons like bias. Then you have a few (like two) that you can dismiss without giving a reason. So she will be pretty limited. But she might try to dismiss everybody.
There is another Lori Vallow Daybell trial that is just starting, they had a hearing on motions having to do with cameras in court just a cpl days ago. She is being charged with being part of the conspiracies in the attempted murder of Brandon B & the murder of Charles Vallow in Arizona.
Thank you, Peter. I've really enjoy watching you for over a year. Congrats for 400k, here's to many many more. ps. got my husband hooked on you, too. When we start watching a video, he always says "yes, I know, he's handsome" 😄
Question: If Sarah writes a tell all and smears the 8 attorneys could they defend themselves or say anything about her behavior. Attorney client privilege is important and protects what is said. Does it protect behaviors and treatment?
I’ve also been wondering if there is a point where attorney-client privilege ‘expires’ and they can publicly comment on how it was to interact with her in general.
It depends, son of Sam laws prohibit convicted criminals from profiting from their crimes, and as such, are expressly prohibited from producing anything connected to the crime such as a book or movie for example. Should they proceed with such intentions and choose to ignore such statutes and limitations and continue to produce anything involving/discussing /portraying/re enacting the details of their crime they are convicted of, there are numerous systems in place that would not only bring it to the attention of the relevant authorities, but would also heavily financially penalise the various entities involved such as production companies, book publishers etc, but more importantly, have the power to freeze accounts and seize any proceeds under the civil assets forfeiture program ,the proceeds of which will be paid to the victims' family and any charities they see fit.
Definitely looking forward to seeing Sara attempt to defend herself. She keeps bragging about how smart she is, so we’re just going to put that to the test. Thanks for keeping us abreast this case. Sandy from Cincinnati.
By that logic, watching a bunch of lawyers on lawtube = going to law school/passing the bar exam. Just because she might get a tip here and there from law tube in NO WAY will prepare her to actually represent herself on the level of actual lawyers.
She's expecting an acquittal. A narcissist favorite saying "not on purpose". You cannot explain once is a mistake, or accident, anything after that is "on purpose".
The amount of times I roll my eyes at her letters is ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as her but not quite. I can't wait to see what she has to say about this
Yes. She’s stupid. She’ll get jail time no matter what. BUT if she had of accepted that and worked with a lawyer she could go down the battered spouse syndrome route, argue that they were playing a game and that she was drunk and fell asleep. I believe with a good lawyer, there would be a defence there that would minimise her jail time if she could accept what she did. She deserves life IMO, but she could have argued a defence if she accepted her guilt.
Please send positive thoughts and prayers to Jorge's family, her son and All that have been affected by the drunken decision (s) Sarah made. I am confident that the truth will come out and Sarah will be seen for the human she really is....

Actually, I'm hoping she writes another letter complaining that she no longer has a lawyer. She's trying to break this judge.
I think the appearance of the victim, Jorge, allowed others to believe her too.
absolutely....Jeorge never stood a chance living with that manipulative lunatic
Thanks for covering this! And I think it will be about 3-4 weeks due to the judge likely needing to pause to dismiss the jury and explain things and set boundaries with Sarah.
Peter omg this women is ludicrous..
What's the saying ...A women who is her own lawyer has a fool for a client...so fitting for Sara
I love that she had a GoFundMe up for days and it had $0 donated! I think it was deleted yesterday!
She's so insufferable, I don't think she has even a fringe group of supporters. She's as unlikable as Darrell Brooks.
Supposedly she had $5. 😂
😂😂😂
She had a map of her supporters. NONE donated? Lmao
@@gomez3126-f4nshe’ll be demanding that $5 too 😂😂
I'm thinking that she may have missed the part when she locked her boyfriend in a suitcase and mocked him as he slowly died, begging for his life the whole time. I mean, I understand how easily one could overlook something so minor, but come on Sara.
😂😂
She *did* miss it, she blacked out, went to bed and fell asleep.
*NOT INTENTIONALLY! *
She believes he deserved it. If she was put in a suitcase as the penalty, she would still complain she did nothing wrong.
And the fact that she recorded everything on her phone. Clear cut evidence right there. How is she going to defend that?😂

And Sarah finally got an attorney that is intelligent. Finally!
Sarah is just so unintentionally entertaining. For a murder trial this has been lighthearted. Thank you for covering her antics!
How can we miss Sarah Boone, if she won't GO AWAY? I suggest the judge take extra strength Advil, before the trial, they are going to need it!
She loves the attention.
She walks all over these attorney's treating them like garbage then wonders why nobody wants 2 defend her?! She thinks shes always the smartest person in the room yet can't figure out the rules 2 "Hide n Seek"!
"You know where he is! HE'S IN THE SUITCASE!!!" still lives rent-free in my head. 🤣
She doesn't understand or recognize the responsibility of attorneys to the court. If they violate that, Their license can be in jeopardy.
@@Katrina-qs2rlshe simply doesn’t care.
🤣😆🤣😆
I think that she was trying to get an attorney that goes along with her "unintentional" defense in spite of her video recording.
I saw a video of a woman who said Sarah is writing these letter just for the public to see since she can’t speak on social media to tell her story. She knew the judge wouldn’t look at them but knew they would be put out for people to see. I thoroughly believe that.
Sara actually states that in the 58 page letter.
Do you mean Laurie’s channel? Love her and Watson!
Interesting point. I tend to agree.
What would the point of that be? The public can't help her.
@gracejones2831 she states in her letter that this is her way to get her side of the story out & show the world that she is "not a murderer"
@Uncivil Law representing Ms. Boone would be epic.
Right!? I can just Immagine that conversation.
I agree
I am imagining SB and Uncivil Law sitting stony faced across from each other, glaring and repairing to do battle 😂
I wouldn't wish this on anybody! lolol
How's about Darrel Brooks representing her?
This will be one trial where its vital to have someone go through and cut out all of the nonsense for us. Forever grateful for all you do. 😊
Sarah, as she digs
"I don't like holes, they're filthy and scary! Who would ever want to be in a hole."
She's done digging, she jumps into the hole.
"Who would want to be down here...this hole is filthy! I really hate this. Why did they put me in this hole??!"
She starts pulling the dirt onto herself.
"Oh great, now they're burying me in this filthy, awful hole? I don't deserve this! I was an A student in highschool and a non-functioning alcoholic for the last 20 years! We were having a GOOD DAY!"
She's buried.
"Mmmfmmfffffmmm. Mfffmmffff. A GOOD DAY!"
Lol, **pulling the dirt over her head**
Then exclaimed, "It was not intentional"
Could being in a deep hole be similar to being trapped in a suitcase?
@@hugsie24 "There was no malicious!" LMFAO oh boy.
@@DOLfirst the irony isn't lost on me 😉
It wasn't INTENTIONAL!
I asked God months ago: please make Boone represent herself! He has blessed me with MAX ENTERTAINMENT. 😂😂

The Lord giveth. Ask and ye shall receive.
So cutting you are! Where's your charity, lol...
The more I listen to you the more I like your program
Peter is a wonderful, unbiased attorney and analyst.
@@GH-oi2jf I was being sarcastic... 😂
No, you’re right, that WILL happen
I wonder if Sarah is going to have a problem with “lawyer #9”! 😂
Sounds like a terrible song.. Boone's Lawyer #9
SB can certainly act like she doesn’t know why cashman exited but clearly her behavior was the catalyst in forcing her to withdraw.
This woman is a piece of work!
It’s been the catalyst for most of those walking away. Bet SB would turn back time if she could.
@@Peaches.523yes before she did her “ funny” game with her friend zipped into a suitcase and let him die
No excuse!
If I'm afraid that someone will hurt me I don't invite that person to my house.
The "blacked out" excuse isn't a valid defense in most states if she willingly intoxicated herself.
And Sarah herself stated multiple times during her interrogation that she wasn't drunk. If she testifies, cross will absolutely destroy her.
Indeed, particularly when she had video of herself refusing to open the suitcase whilst awake.
That’s right. She is responsible for her behaviour under the influence of substances…… lookin forward to sentencing!!!
Sarah Boone is such a "genius", she ended up outsmarting herself!💯😂🤣😂🤣🤷🏾♂️
She’ll represent herself. If for no other reason other than she can’t keep her mouth shut, she can’t help herself. So if the trial starts, she will participate.
Poor Jorge. All the attention on Sarah shadows his death. She killed him with a suitcase!
She's doing this to stay occupied. She knows she's never getting out.
He covers this in another video. She is stuck now after being warned many, many times it might happen.
Just started with the rewatch crew, I hope that you attend this trial.
PLEASE tell me you will cover Donna Adelson's trial, Georgia is actually a very good prosecutor to watch in action, and that is sure to be a circus as well. Thanks for all you do, P! Been around for a while now and so happy to see you hit 400K
Her Go Fund Me raised $5.00 it's now been taken down.
Whoever donated to her should be fired from their job.
She stated, previously, that she had so many followers in South Korea! Hmmm
I think she made a friend in jail. Maybe got her sympathy as she saw her keeping trying to call attorney. Stolkholm Syndrome Jail Edition
That person started it.
I took some screenshots but I wish I had taken more. It was a other full Sarah Rant.
Should one of us write to her?! See what she says she plans to do?
But why would someone be fired from their job lol its their $5.00. People give millions to Trump. Give money to homeless people. Your coverage on this whole debacle has been great & fair-minded throughout, excellent work!
It's Sarah's world we just all need to get in line and play along.
I know she will be scribbling away at a new letter as soon as she found out she'd have to represent herself. 🤣😂🤣
She's going to be complaining about everyone from the Judge, prosecution and the jurors when the time comes. _good grief_
A lot more letters are going to be coming sealed with tears now
😂😂😂😂😂
She's delaying. It's not a shock
Very true.
She is never getting out of prison at this rate so she might as well just snuggle herself in and enjoy the ride.
I'd bet money the lawyers tried to talk her into trying for the minimum sentence, but she would settle for nothing less than trying for acquittal.
I bet she hasn’t shut up since she’s been notified she’s now her own lawyer due to her own not intentional actions.
Can you imagine? I feel sorry for everyone in the jail!
Probably thinks she's an honorary member of the bar.
Using her own words against her, lol. Kudos.
With all the evidence that determined the 2nd Degree Murder charge, the last 4+ years has been an epic waste of time. She has a snowball's chance in hell of beating the rap.
"Everyone knows where she is. Precisely." 😂😂😂
This trial will be entertaining to watch now that she has to defend herself. She will be appalled each time she’s objected to in disbelief she made a mistake. Gonna find out the hard way she isn’t smart after all.
Good god that letter to the judge! The fawning! This woman triggers all my c-ptsd!
Replay crew! 🫶🏽 Thank you Peter for continuing to keep us updated on this case. 💞
We should do a fundraiser for her county's ink and paper shortage...
When you look at her behaviors from at the crime scene & the interrogation up until the judges ruling that her days of abusing & disrespecting the process including a parade of court appointed attorney are over, you get a frightening glimpse into how manipulative, self entitled, delusional, controlling & deeply rooted in denial she has shown herself
To be. She decided at the interrogation that "living without Jorge" was punishment enough. And she has decided that because she claims she didn't intend to kill Jorge Torres, that she is now somehow the victim. She refused to see that that's not how our legal system works.. and there is plenty of evidence just released to the public that puts a huge question mark on
what her intentions were. Even if there wasn't presence of certain evidence she still would've been charged with a crime in my opinion. I wonder if the state will be allowed to present evidence of the details of why this case has taken close to five years to get tried. I'm no lawyer, but I think it is very relevant to show a jury the pattern of behavior this defendant has exhibited these past 4.5 years, the lengths she will go, the lies she will tell, the baseless disrespectful mug slinging she'll throw, or the unfounded self serving nonsense that comes out of her mouth when she doesn't get what she wants, doesn't get her way or things aren't going as
"planned" i think it's important to show the total lack of respect she has for the judicial system, no line she won't cross, and her need to control things that are not for her to control, ie PD dropping out like flies. I think the evidence speaks for itself, but it might be helpful in the interest of justice, to show her as the person she is, not the person she wants to be seen as. Those are two very different people..
,
I’m glad she’s in jail.
She should never be in community again….
Another one?!?!? This lady is beyond exhausting
OMG is she going to have a say in voir dire??? I cannot imagine her ever finding even one juror that she thinks is smart enough to sit her trial. How will that work? I can see her dragging it out forever.
Oh boy. The thought of her going through hundreds of jurors and not liking any..
@@bherylkuebler986 OMG thats right!!! I wonder how the judge will reel her in.
They probably have a limited number of rejections. She'll go through hers pretty quickly.
I would hope that each side can only dismiss a certain number of potential jurors when the other side doesn't agree.
You are only allowed to dismiss for clear specified reasons like bias. Then you have a few (like two) that you can dismiss without giving a reason. So she will be pretty limited. But she might try to dismiss everybody.
In a few months, she's gonna regret giving up Ms. Cashman.

Question:
If Sarah writes a tell all and smears the 8 attorneys could they defend themselves or say anything about her behavior.
I'm not sure she, if convicted, can profit from the crime. It's called fruit of the poisoned tree.
@@Leigh-says-stuffno. That can only be suspended by the client. Not their counsel. But I doubt if there's prohibition on broad generalization.
I don't want to meet the person that would take her book seriously.

She could file an interlocutory appeal of the ruling denying her another court-appointed counsel. (warning - lay opinion)

By that logic, watching a bunch of lawyers on lawtube = going to law school/passing the bar exam. Just because she might get a tip here and there from law tube in NO WAY will prepare her to actually represent herself on the level of actual lawyers.
Nothing can help her unfortunately, the facts are there. She captured everything on video, no jury in their right mind would find her innocent

We all know what her argument to defend herself ( we were playing hide and seek and it was unintentional) good luck with that one Sarah
