I have a theory on why she would stall: She’s holding out because she thinks a private attorney and more expensive expert witnesses will get her off. She thinks she can get her -crazies- “fans” to raise money to pay for those things.
She said herself that she thinks if she had a bond they’d pay it for her.
And idt she’s necessarily talking to the judge in her letters. She said the internet is picking apart everything that happens. I think those letters are actually aimed at said fans to build that support for poor oppressed victim Sarah Boone.

She laughed and mocked a dying man begging for help but she is the victim? This is disgusting and the taxpayers should be outraged. Also, she writes these letters to a global audience but she needs to understand that the majority of people want her to rot in prison.
The alleged "fans" she has are only trying to write someone famous. Its not because they "believe in her" She was an unemployed alcoholic that wasn't able to care for her son. I cannot WAIT for Brian Boone to tell us that very thing in his testimony

As a woman who survived a narcissistic mother, you better believe they are THIS EXHAUSTING 24/7. It never gets better. I am on year 6 of no contact. Secondly, they have this insane warped schema of how they perceive the world. They obsessively assign thoughts and feelings to other people, and once they decide they know what you think, no evidence to the contrary can budge their preconceived conclusion. I'm still recovering and have sooooooo much empathy for every lawyer and judge who has the massive misfortune of having to put up with her.
You are spot on about these narcissists! It’s complete insanity! So glad you have learned about it and severed yourself away from that toxicity as I did with my father and evil siblings who were trauma bonded to him and flying monkeys making me a scapegoat of all their hateful selves! I am many years free of them and father died in 2019. I am free! It’s a good feeling. It’s sad to lose siblings that way but they are sickos and it can’t be fixed and we have to live our own lives our way! We can never ever go back as none of them change! They only get worse with age!

year 6 on no contact with mother and sister. mother malignant narcissist sister a domestic abuser for 30 years and graduated to child abuse when the DV against her brother stopped working. the 'perhaps its for the best' line from literally everyone who knew any of us in response to 'sister abuses me and abusing our niece and other children at work, everyone pointing fingers at me' was what finally convinced me true evil literally exists in this world. there is no excuse or defence for a 38 year old untouchable virgin because of her own shit choices telling her 3 year old niece she smells like a .... lady of the night, because shes wearing her uncles cologne, and the running dv joke is whenever hes dressed and smelled nice hes been off with.... ladies of the night. including shooting that line at ex girlfriends. none. and i know what happens next if i pretend it never happened. and i can assure you, the roundabout terms im trying to use are not the singlular offensive words that were used and should never be said around a 3 year old girl.

Addiction and narcissism *occasionally* go hand in hand, but not frequently enough to attribute one to the other absolutely. Many victims of alcoholism are also victims of abuse & abandonment. Thankfully, not all people who experience abandonment & abuse end up to be narcissists.

All the research I've read on addiction links it far more closely with C-PTSD, in that addiction begins as an attempt to medicate (by substance or behaviour) the effects of severe, chronic childhood trauma. There seem to be some links to neurodivergence as well, but not narcissism, unless your citations reveal otherwise.

A lot of narcissistic abusers learned over time that they can bend the world to their will by their manipulative skills. It's always a rude and often violent awakening if and when they hit a rock wall with a person who refuse to be manipulated.

@@QemeH You are right, and after manipulating her ex-husband, Brian, and then Jorge for years..... Sarah couldn't comprehend why she couldn't manipulate the two detectives who interrogated her. Since then, she hasn't been able to manipulate any of the attorneys who have been assigned to the case, so Sarah can't understand why she lost her magical powers.
The presumption of innocence applies only in the courtroom. The public is entirely free to assume guilt prior to trial.
The longer her letter gets, the more delusional she shows herself to be. She also makes it clear how little she thinks of other people, in general.

At this point, all Sarah is communicating with these letters is that every attorney she has worked with believes her to be guilty.
No, it communicates SHE is deluded enough to believe she can walk from this. So when the attorney offers her advice like .. "Get a plea deal" it clearly shows to her they are biased.
She equates "respect" with "do exactly as I say, or else"... respect is a 2 way street. She's not willing to listen to any reason, it's her way or the highway.

I think she believes that she is a master of the written word...I think she has a lot of issues and those issues make her incapable of listening to or understanding reason. The judge has given her more "grace" than she is entitled at this point.

I think it's mental illness, more than arrogance. But I get your stance. Mental illness is a very unique illness, in that society often labels it as a "choice'. In my opinion, her mental status is as ill as anyone suffering from cancer or liver/kidney/heart failure. She truly has no control over her illness. She needs treatment. Her mental health is suffering, which is a terrible place to be as a human.
Sarah is not hearing what she wants to hear from her lawyer, so therefore, her lawyer is wrong and against her. 🤦♂️

Last time I checked that wouldn't violate any constitutional rights. She needs to be segregated and sitting in a cell, for the remainder of the process, ALONE!! She will latch on to anything any one else says to her. Ie. Jail house lawyers. This is a Darrell Brooks tactic that I feel sure a stronger judge would have cut the moment she was on her 3rd lawyer. I have faith that the judge will out their foot down. If he doesn’t then all my faith in humanity and the Justice system is dead. The last judge set it up for him and put it in the record that Sarah was running out of options so let’s see what this guy does.
Although wasn't it technically the lawyer that filed to withdraw, not Sarah Boone directly asking for new representation? I can't remember with 100% certainty but if the attorney is claiming they can't work together because Sarah won't accept the lawyers version of her defense and the trust has been broken then I'm not sure the judge can in good faith force them to work together indefinitely. Granted in this particular instance the judge may be more inclined to push the issue since it is lawyer #8 & the trial really needs to get going.

Well she basically summed it all up…all the lawyers say “ you don’t like the answers I’m giving you”. I’m sure that’s always the problem. She wants them to say she’s innocent and will win and that’s it.

Can a lawyer argue what she wants within limits and go on record saying it's against the advice of counsel?
She doesn't want fair representation. She wants a cheer leader to shout her brilliance through a megaphone.
She zipped him in the bag, and he died there. We know this. So what other defense is there, but "why?" A jury has to decide based on the evidence presented.
She's crazy enough to believe she's sane, so she's probably not willing to be evaluated or to accept any diagnosis that might help her case.
She doesn't understand that a lawyer can't argue that her actions didn't kill him just because she didn't think he would die.
She's accurately charged with 2nd degree murder. It doesn't have to be intentional, just dangerous to human life by someone with a depraved mind. There's a recording of her mocking him while he begs to be let out. That's depravity.
EVEN IF she could walk free and all she had to do was stonewall at trial, let the prosecution make their case without her engaging at all… she still wouldn’t be able to help herself from some outburst in the court. She is unwilling to hear what the facts are, just as she was when confronted with the recording she made. She’d rather write 1000 letters than have that mirror held up and be forced to look. It’s callous and cowardly.
My heart goes out to Jorge’s family and I hope they are able to find some peace in the knowledge that we all see her as they do, which may just be the most fitting punishment for the type of person she is.
This is just a stall tactic. She is narcissistic and everything is about her. She’s trying to avoid a trial because she knows she’s guilty , plan and simple. The judge should make her represent herself. She has had 8 opportunities to have representation and she’s blown every one of them. Fans my a.. she wishes she had fans. Have they done a mental competency on her??
If she was out on bail, stalling would make sense. If she was facing the death penalty, maybe stalling would make sense. But she’s sitting in jail; and if she’d let someone effectively defend her, I bet a decent lawyer could get her some form of manslaughter where I think the max is 15 years … and if she really cooperated with that lawyer and showed some remorse, most likely less than 15 years. She’s already been in jail 4 years. She’s just stalling herself into a 2nd degree murder conviction and a life sentence.
@@Daybreaq yes, I think she’s stalling to try to put off the inevitable, even though that does not make sense for her in the long run. Many maladaptive behaviors do not meet a person’s long-term self interest. I see zero evidence that she wants an attorney to represent her and get the case to trial.

I think that's her main issue. She wants a full-time attorney dedicated to her every whim & demand around the clock, but is not prepared to pay for it. She thinks she's a cause worth fighting for (injustice?), hence her public letters.

Respect is earned. She is being treated with much more respect then the respect she has extended to her 8 free Attorneys. Ms Boone needs an attitude adjustment, which she will brutally receive in jail.
This sounds like the pretty standard "why aren't you telling me the things I want to hear? Why are you telling me things are bad? You're supposed to be helping Me!!!!!" answers. Too many accused believe that the lawyer's job is to make them feel better, and do gymnastics like on TV to help them. When the reality of most cases is a lot more stark.
If she won’t represent herself and yet she has already gone through more lawyers than there are days in the week, then when will the judge say enough is enough? She has wasted so much time, $$$, and other resources and clearly she’ll continue to use these same tactics until the legal system won’t tolerate her antics anymore.
After reading the letter, she really is grasping at straws it seems. This attorney met with her, so she had to attack her as a person. She’s expecting someone to lie for her.

True Narcissist. No lawyer will be accepted by her. The Judge should draw the line here. In her own words she showed the judge that she caused the problems with ALL her appointed lawyers. A Narcissist needs, crave and live to be right and admired. There is only one person in her life and that is Sarah Boon. That is why she NEVER showed ANY sadness ,grief or compassion for George. She never takes ANY responsibility for any of her actions and she never will. It is a waste of time and funds to keep giving her more time and more legal help. Nothing will change.

Here's what I would like the judge to do:
1. Tell Boone she is not getting another lawyer, because this one is as qualified and experienced a lawyer as he has.
2. Tell the attorney that she must stay on the case, and that she may refuse to do anything illegal or unethical regardless of Boone's desires.
3. Say that the trial will proceed as scheduled.
I’ve seen other judges in other jurisdictions shut this kind of behavior down from the beginning, letting the defendant know that their lawyer is the expert and they won’t be getting another one if they treat the next one badly. It truly surprises me that it’s gotten this far.
To be fair the only thing that kinda is stopping them from wanting to be on the case is one of them im p sure mr number 8 may be wrong tho said that it could affect his defense preparations for his other clients

I agree and honestly I’d be happy if he gave her a final warning. What I DONT want is for her to rapidly be forced into anything then she loses and appeals, and wins on appeal. So I’d accept “you have one more chance with a new lawyer and if that doesn’t work for you you will have the option to rep yourself but whatever the case you will not receive a new lawyer so work it out”. I say this because she has never been given an ultimatum so I am afraid that if the judge doesn’t do that and give her one more shot, that she will win on appeal. And that might be her goal because she KNOWS she’s going to be found guilty.
Peter you and i are in the same page. She only JUST received the first notice from the last judge so she is KINDA on notice right now. If this new judge comes down hard and insists she keeps this lawyer, I think she can easily win on appeal. The court needs to take the right STEPS and get everything on record, which they started doing last time this happened. So we are on our way but not quite there to a hard ultimatum of “take this lawyer or rep yourself”. I think one final STRONG warning is necessary and one more lawyer and then if she dies this again it’s AFTER that warning. The court MUST keep their side of the street 100% clean and that means documentation and notice. I’d argue that if he does this, the court date should remain (if that’s possible).

Can you even imagine how the victim’s family feels with this being sooo strung out? Over FOUR YEARS now! I looked up his obit - he leaves behind both parents, 3 children and 9 siblings. He may not have been perfect, but he certainly didn’t deserved to die. Very sad they haven’t received justice yet.
Longer this goes on, more issues it creates in the system. What stops other defendants from doing the same? Why can’t all defendants go through 7, 8 or N numbers of attorneys from now on? Who is going to pay for that?
It’s called setting precedent. Trust the process. The judges know what they’re doing. The last one already got the ball rolling. Now this judge just needs to finish the job.

Regarding the complaints about calls with her attorney in a space that was too public. My bet is that the attorney wanted to give her some quick, non sensitive information and suitcase Sara had to start demanding answers to all her stupid questions. She got peeved because it didnt go her way so she found a way to make herself a victim. She is THE WORST.

There was some coverage of her son’s father shortly after she reported the death. He seemed “normal.” Glad for the son. He has a chance living with his dad. But, the poor boy, having a mother like that.
If she truly cared about her son she would've gotten a job and her shit together and laid off the drinking. She could've gone to rehab or meetings or many other things it strongly appears she did not do. Her son is better off with her gone. Poor kid will have to change his name now !
I think the problem is that she wants an attorney who will help her pin it on George. Like, it’s all his fault he got in the suitcase and she never really meant to kill him so it’s his fault. It’s his fault he’s dead. I think all the attorneys have been trying to compile defenses like battered spouse or some other defense, but she doesn’t want a defense. She wants somebody who will help her show the jury she didn’t do anything. That’s why she and attorneys are never going to get along.

She is is fully enjoying this. Her behavior right now is only making it more believable that she is the type of person that would punish someone who she feels is not appreciating or respecting her.
As much as I don't want to see Ms. Cashman tortured to continue as Sarah Boone's council, I think that the judge should deny her request to resign. Patricia Cashman has done a lot of work so far and removing her from the case is exactly what Sarah wants. Don't give in to her wishes. The judge should tell Sarah to get along with Ms. Cashman because the trial is happening in October, deal with it. Once Sarah is tried, convicted, and sentenced to life in prison, we'll never hear from her again.
I believe she figured out a couple years ago how to set up for a “future” appeal by the time she goes to trial. She ditches every lawyer and consistently writes the judges to complain about them. She definitely makes sure to include specific words/sentences regarding the judicial system, even going so far as to state law. This makes it look like she isn’t going to get a fair trial and that’s a big deal... Making sure everyone gets effective counsel and a fair trial. Obviously, she’s been studying law a lot since she’s been in jail and learning the game. She probably thinks she could do a better job, but knows better than to say she “wants” to represent herself.

Sarah Boone has never been out of control in her life. This is the first time she has not been in control. She can't handle it. She is playing the system. She's incredibly intelligent, to be sure. She knows what she's doing. She will never give up... until she gets her way. Nothing will placate her. Time is on her side, and she knows it. She will never stop.

For the love of Pete, she videoed herself mocking a dying man; she put in a suitcase. She has no case! I’m not a lawyer and know only what Peter has taught me and if I had to represent her, the only thing I would say is, “admit your guilt and act repentant and pray that you get a lighter sentence”. That’s all she’s got. I always wished I had more confidence, but no never mind. I do not want to be anything like this woman!
Sarah has been consistently disrespectful to every single lawyer she has been given, it is Sarah who starts disrespecting them from day one, yet gets put out, if they do not put up with her behavior. It has always been Sarah on the offensive. Keep attorney, trial as planned.

My former SIL did the same to her first 7 lawyers before #8 helped her get what she wanted - to avoid any jail time for attempted unaliving of my brother despite loads of documentation of her DV. (The judge described his injuries as “horrific”.)
After her sentencing of mental evaluation, substance abuse evaluation, and probation, she had the nerve to stand at the lectern and accuse my cancer-ridden brother (who was very ill at the time of the incident and passed 7 mos later), of coming after her instead! Our family went thru years of h€ll over it.
I pity the family of Boone’s boyfriend. She will never admit she did anything wrong and continually point the finger at him for “causing” her to walk away from him that night. Sorry, Sarah, 3 fingers are pointing back at yourself.

Thank you so very much. Our family had to ask for the judge to include “no further contact in any way” with all surviving members of our family to stop her constant threats toward us and demands for $$$. But we all keep our eyes wide open and watch our backs.
I just saw a video by Recovery Addict that today the judge found that Sarah Boone has forfeited her right to counsel. I hope this doesn’t become grounds for appeal.
It’s on the Orange County clerk records today.
