So it was for the law and for his client.

Finding out your judge (who was already being very biased) and the prosecutor had a secret off the books meeting with a sworn witness is certainly one of those times. He was being incredibly proper in his reaction in my opinion, if the judge didn’t want to look so sketch focusing on extorting the lawyer to snitch was the wrong move.

As an attorney of 30 years, I am astonished when I hear your guests speak on how outwardly it appears as if he's a fantastic attorney, but then when you listen to his answers they are very elementary at best. Everything to him is splitting the baby in half. A typical civil child attorney. Where is the advocating for the client? Without question? You cannot as a judge. Have an ex parte meeting with a witness that is sworn in in a criminal trial and intimidate that person and threaten them with jail time. Everything else that happened is the fruit of the poisonous tree. It doesn't matter how the information got out. This is an instant mistrial and this judge should be removed as a judge. This is so outrageous that this judge should likely be disbarred. How this attorney as your guest doesn't clearly see this position seems to indicate he doesn't really know what he's talking about.

If you've been following this case from the start you know this judge and prosecution team have been doing lots of questionable things that are unhinged. He shows an obvious favoritism of DA Love and a disdain for Steele and Schardt especially. He has had jurors write letters, lawyers buy lunch because their phone rang, walked off the bench to take a phone call when the defense was presenting, one witness said she was s3xually harassed by one of the detectives and the judge said nothing. He comes to work with a service dog (nothing wrong with having a service dog) but a judge having one is alarming. If he cared he would step aside and recuse himself and give these guys a chance at a fair trial. Get the bad guys but do it the right way because it matters.

What would a judge having a temper tantrum look like? Asking for a friend.

this judge is giving so many reasons for this case to be appealed and overturned. There is something really wrong with the way the prosecution is moving in this case as well.

I think one of the biggest problems here at this stage is that the Judge is the only one that thinks he's not wrong. Classic narcissistic behavior. He thinks he's smarter than everyone else because he's not doubling down.

Ah yes I do love it when identity politics results in someone wanting gangs to be let off. Thats priceless. You might want to rethink your indoctrination. 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Having said that, you are absolutely correct that this judge made a very bad call here and should not be a judge.

@@EffSharpmate, what? There's no identity politics here.
What it is, is a clearly crooked judge incorrectly running the court room. If they're a gang, they should be convicted for it. Only if there is enough evidence. We need to maintain the standard of law. This is an embarassment.
