@ it was astonishing. She is so narcissistic she just couldn’t sit not leave that room without one more attempt to victimize herself. With her life on the line that was the most important thing to her. I honestly believe she talked herself into a harsher sentence
Regarding the "Unsophisticated Manner", I would argue that she DID make an attempt to cover up the crime- she absolutely tried to get Brian over there before calling 911, considering she couldn't move him on her own, so she might have tried but couldnt get any help.
Agreed. I was wondering what she would have done if Brian had been willing to help her! Thankful he had the sense to distance himself immediately after seeing what had happened to Jorge.
The three things that stood out to me: 1. Sarah: Jorge was a monster. (Five seconds later) Sarah: I will see him in heaven one day. 2. Sarah repeating "Forgive me" at the family, not in the tone of a request, but as a demand. 3. After the dozen or so videos she took of herself abusing Jorge, Owens tries to salvage her narrative by saying "…well, there was abuse against her, but that half didn't get caught on camera."
Plus „the other half“ we didn’t see before the videos started where she pushed all the buttons of Jorge, where she harassed and attacked him until he had to fight back. I still believe, Jorge tried to leave her for good this time, tried to pack his suitcase and this monster smashed him unconscious with the baseball bat, put him into the suitcase to get rid of her victim but was horrified, that he didn’t die, so she tortured him, waiting for his tragic and cruel death and then tried to get Brian to help her but Brian finally said NO to her! Wot teletype sentence less than life, she would have been fortunate to not be punished for all this but as long as life means life… She only has one life, so there is that. She was lucky enough, that all this could not be proven but at least the outcome doesn’t make a difference
She is so ridiculous, you can't make this stuff up. And she's 40+ years old and the only "friends" she has to speak for her are people she just met in jail. Wow
And they weren't good speakers. Felt like she ha something over them and they felt backed into a corner to speak for her. The preacher woman said one sentence over and over, only moved words around to make them sound different 😂😂😂.
My expectations were low going into this. She grabbed a shovel, dug 20 feet down, and made that absolutely insane statement. My jaw didn’t leave the floor from the moment she started speaking.
@@JenniDoesCrimesI felt physically sick during her self celebration of forgiveness as the now fully and gloriously repaired broken vessel with her golden shine, topped with the ending that she hopes, she can draw many people to HERSELF (not God!) by her redeemed, shining self 🤢
It could not be worse - and the way she looked directly at the family before she started. The way she compared herself to a work of art - The whole God references - it was sickening
Our expectations for her were low, but HOLY SH*T! No, seriously: I absolutely knew that Sarah would not accept any responsibility and would also not be able to just say that she maintains her being not guilty while otherwise shutting up (because she is literally unable to do either) - but even with that firm expectation, this statement still surprised and shocked me. Even with the narcissistic personality and the inability to ever shut the f*ck up, it was still a CHOICE to go this full on scorched earth with it. There was ZERO reason to dunk on the media, the police, the family and whoever else during this. And then to do it in such a hateful way that doesn't even argue anything for your case or sentence... Even bloody Jodi Arias managed to say sorry for the death that occured, even if she didn't directly say it was her fault. And that woman FOUGHT tooth and nail with the prosecutor on the stand for days. So let's get one thing straight: While Sarah may maintain that the death was "not intentional" - this little speech harming his family (and others catching strays) WAS fully intentional. 100%.
If the judge was considering less time for whatever crazy reason. As soon as Sarah read that statement and blamed every single person, except for herself for the situation she is in sealed her fate of life. I find it telling that not one person from Sara’s past came today to speak about her. The only persons to speak of her goodness are former fellow inmates. Lock her up, throw the key away.
No one spoke for her that's known her for any length of time. In effect, these are just new people who basically don't know her well, so their summary of her character should be discounted
SB was condemned by all the videos she made, revealing who she really is, that Jorge was meek and submissive while intoxicated, and her use of the legal system against him, how he suffered in his final minutes alive. She showed herself to be a monster. EDIT: In her speech, she's angry, unremorseful, victim blaming, and, as always, it's all about her.
I don't believe she was abused! She either self inflicted those wounds to set him up, or fell down drunk, even stabbing herself in the leg, and blaming Jorge! Each time he was arrested, he had no idea what they meant when they told him it was for domestic violence! I believe she used it as a tool to control Jorge, and make him do whatever she wanted...or feel her wrath! She's pure evil, and if she ever got out of jail, no one would be safe from her manipulation!

As a victim of a narcissist, I feel bad for the friend who advocated for Sarah. To me, promising a kidney sounded like classic future faking. It’s easy to make grandiose promises like that, especially when it’s clear there’s a vanishingly small chance she would have to actually follow through.
The person who wrote that letter seemed very vulnerable, so of course SB would glom on to them. Why would you be impressed with a drunks kidney? Why would you think kindly if someone who heard their partner suffocating and did nothing? I definitely think a certain type of person would overlook all her issues once she's nice to them.
Interestingly, she said Jorge was the 1st man who abused her. Yet, she’s claiming abuse from Brian during their custody motions. Her statements are like a backhanded compliment. Forgive me for my actions, because of your mistake. Her behavior is worse today than on the day of her arrest.
The 'abuse' she was talking about with Brian was him wanting to stop paying her alimony while she's in jail, and wanting to move from Orlando to Gainesville because their son is being bullied (because of Sarah's notoriety).
Do y’all think Owen is going to represent this pos again? I hope not. She had her chance with him. He needs to move on and put his skills to better use defending people who DESERVE it!
I went into this hoping she got life, but was swayed a bit and talked myself into being ok with her gettinc 25-40. Then she gave her statement and my first thought was "Oh, shes getting life now".

This, this was her last chance for a while to stuck it to everyone, to openly state her anger and frustration and blame everyone for failing her, for „everything WE have done to HER“ 🙄. My guess is, her unredacted version was even more blame and sticking it to the family court too, more names and personal beef… and not 1 word how she failed her son by her own action(s) and how all this affects him for the rest of his life!
Owens pled for her to get less than 20 years but the state put the boot in about her inability to take responsibility and that was part of the plea agreement. The judge wasn’t fooled by all her claims either. Jorge was the abused one.
I don’t believe a word she says. This was one of the most vile things I have ever witnessed. What everyone should do now is forget she exists and no longer give her the platform and attention she so desperately craves. She is also in for a rude awakening in prison because fellow inmates are not going to fall for her manipulation like people who are transient in jail or desperate for a true crime penpal. GOOD RIDDANCE.
Ironically, despite her accusations of severe abuse, the videos we saw were incriminating to her. She exhibited disdain, condescension and rude behavior to Jorge over and over. The absurd amount of injuries she outlined were not confirmed by the hospitals in the area. She is disingenuous I'm afraid.
And if there was even a single video or text demonstrating Jorge’s violence or abuse you know Owen’s would have trotted it out. What did he show? Jorge knocking the phone out of her hand after she was getting in his face? Smashing a busted tv while she watched and videod the fun? The texts I saw were her pleading with him to return her, clearly in a drunken pity party. Who was forcing her to get blitzed out then?
Lack of remorse was the theme today. I was pleasantly surprised by the swift, clear and fullest sentencing by the judge. Justice was truly served. Thank you Peter for your dedication and awesome ingenuity to stream live today. 🤜🤛
Sarah's speech was quintessential Sarah. Judge K's statement (or lack thereof) was quintessential Judge K. And Sarah could not have asked for a better advocate than Owens. It was the ending she deserved. Fully heard, fully represented, full justice served.
@lorigreen4134 Owens jumped in head first without testing the water. I don't think he would have taken the case if he had reviewed the evidence before passing the point of no return. He takes her word as gospel. He didn't stop to think why the other attorneys wouldn't agree to her defense strategy.

Hello Peter! Thank you for attending the sentencing hearing of Sarah Boone! I was very touched by George’s Mother’s victim impact statement! 😢😢 On the other hand, Sarah’s statement was disgusting! 🤢
I do not believe that she was battered. I believe that she battered Jorge as she did Brian. His DJ convictions resulted from her threatening him that she would call the poiice to get him to do as she wanted. She lied to Police and Jorge was arrested. She refers to her jobs but she had not worked in a few years and, when she did, failed to sustain work. Jorge worked. I have found her lying to be deeply disturbing. Lastly, it was she who drank heavily and insisted that Jorge drink. All that I have said comes from what was presented at trial.
I believe she endured horrendous abuse at the hands of Jorge, and she herself struggled with her cruelty and alcohol-related issues. However, his abuse and her actions are separate matters. She killed him and was sentenced to life in prison. On some level, I think she believes she deserves that sentence.
Peter, I’m so so happy you were there and could bring us this Live On the Move stream!! I wanted to hear your take on what Sarah said. And wanted to hear about the awesome Judge Kraynick not addressing her instead of just pronouncing her sentence
“You’re on dialysis? I COULD GIVE YOU MY KIDNEY?? You’ll tell the court I said that right. Oh sorry actually I’m busy that day, hope that works itself out!”
If you get Sarah’s shriveled up dehydrated alcohol affected kidney that will accelerate you straight to speedy death, stay on dialysis you have a better chance of survival.
Wow, Peter!!!! You were there in person!! 😄👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I’m so impressed! That’s so cool that you got to speak to Owens too! Regarding the sentencing, I am SO relieved that the judge sentenced her to life! She did not have any legitimate litigation arguments at all in my opinion. Her “I’m sorry” was very shallow. She still maintains to this day that SHE is the victim, which is astonishing to me. Justice for Jorge!
Sarah’s comments only confirmed what prosecutors presented, she did this to him out of vengeance for what he did to her. Nice job for confirming prosecutors case Sarah!
Only she didn't. There has only been evidence that Sarah is the aggressor and instigator. She was drunk off of her ass and she is an evil person. She loved abusing Jorge mentally and then physically
Her statement is APPALLING. - How DARE she paint herself as the victim after all her videos came out in rebuttal. - How DARE she imply that it’s the family’s fault she killed one of their own. - How DARE she quote scripture after showing ZERO remorse. - How DARE she misappropriate the experience of DV and IPV as a defense for her actions when we have all seen how she treated the victim. - I’m sick to my stomach at the representation of “Christianity” she portrays. She is a MASTER manipulator. It’s seen in the videos she took, it’s in the statements given about their relationship in the trial, and even the statements of the “character” witnesses that spoke on her behalf. It’s unreal. Kudos to Owens for doing his job, but this case is NOT unique or complex. She zipped a man in a suitcase and left him there to die after he repeatedly told her he couldn’t breathe and begged for his life. That’s not complex. She made this complex by refusing to take accountability for her actions. She tried to manipulate the justice system like she manipulated everything else in her life and it backfired BIG TIME.
Sarah’s narcissism is wild to watch play out. She is truly incapable of admitting fault. Her statement basically was “I forgive everybody for making me a murderer”. She even blamed George, stating that he gave her the “M” scarlet that she now has to wear. Sarah, the only person responsible for branding you a murderer is yourself.
All I can say about Sarah Boone’s attitude, behavior, and comments at this sentencing can be found in Proverbs 21:2 “Every way of man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord examines the heart.” I hope Jorge’s family is able to continue their journey to some semblance of healing & peace.

This is the most backhanded apology I’ve ever heard. What’s even more grotesque about her whole statement is I don’t believe for a second that George smashed that TV out of anger. I think it was already broken and they agreed to let him smash it while she filmed. I don’t believe that he stabbed her leg in anger. I think they were horsing around while they were drunk, and that it was an accident just as they told the hospital staff. For all of the documentation of Jorge‘s behavior that she had on her phone, isn’t it ironic that she never captured him violently abusing her the way that she claims? I’m not saying Jorge was perfect. I’m not saying that he never reacted in violence, but I guarantee you that she berated him relentlessly to illicit a certain reaction from him so she could claim to be the victim. It reminds me a lot of the defense mechanism called projection. All of the things she’s accusing him of, she’s the one actually doing. If you sit and watch all of the videos that the prosecution showed in court, you got a pretty good idea of George’s overall demeanor and personality. And although I know they of course pick and choose the videos that helped their case, I guarantee you if there was a video of George outright beating her that it would’ve been shown by the defense. He seemed to be very passive, and she seemed to control all the money, they’re dwelling, and she would file a restraining order and then beg him to come over only to call the police when he did. Sadly, though there are people who may only follow this case from a cursory standpoint that could fall for her tactics and lies, and that’s what she’s banking on.
Long comment, but well said and right on point 👌 Classic abusive relationship. She was definitely the primary abuser, on every level mental, financial, physical, etc. Jorge was definitely the victim. You raised a really good point that she accuses him of all these terrible things, but doesn't have one single recording or video of him being violent. She's full of crap.
She wanted revenge so she threw everyone under the bus because a narcissist always blames others. How stupid and selfish. All that alcohol fried her brain.
I really appreciate your balanced commentary on this one. When I listened to her statement yesterday, I was floored, and I was anxious to hear your take on it. Thank you for the video.
If George was so abusive, and she was so afraid, how did she gain the upper hand? Typically the person being abused, never gains the upper hand and it is the abuser that takes their life.
So she literally thought that the victim statement meant that she had to talk about her being the victim 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I'm sure I'm not the only person that's pointed this out but I couldn't resist
She also still thinks that the judge and the court are different people. She had no inhibitions attacking the judge because it's the court that decides her sentence.
Her statement was so disturbing on many levels. She clearly has no remorse, has not accepted any responsibility for his death or for the abuse she also inflicted and to blame the family, society, "system" is just unexcusable (even if she felt that way).
In fact, her story has changed. She's no longer in saying that it was an accident. She has gone and run with the I did it, but I did it because of a how awful he was her lawyer hasn't got up with her yet.

She is utterly abhorrent. Ripping everyone apart and spouting a bunch of evil shit, painting other people as the bad guys, saying they're forgiven, and acting like she's an innocent bystander. I hope she never gets out on appeal.
I was surprised that Judge Kraynick gave her life in prison. I thought for sure he would go a little easy on her, maybe 30 years, because he didn't want to appear to take all the things.she wrote to him from jail as influencing his decision. And had Sarah shown a little remorse, a little humility, and a little emotion, he might have gone a little easier on her. But her whole statement was just more of the same Sarah that we know: It's everybody else's fault except mine. Proving that, despite what one of her character, witnesses said, she really is a narcissist. Judge Kraynick didn't miss a beat. He saw that Sarah had no remorse or humility and is still thinking of herself. Good on Judge Kraynick, you made the right call.
I actually felt, after the prosecution's rebuttal, at the end of the trial, Kraynick would MOST LIKELY give her a life sentence. Those last videos showed her to be incredibly cruel and uncaring. She enjoyed every hateful and degrading word she threw at Jorge. I would have been shocked if he'd given her less.

Mrs Torres was very much classy today. Classy and with a kind heart. Mad respect for Jorge’s mom!
She raised a monster wtf u talking about.
@m3kid is the person I swear sometimes just want to fight, this is the person that goes to customer service just because they are in the mood to argue.
She was the abuser and obviously the judge, jury and public agreed.

@@m3kidand that’s her fault how? Was she in the room telling him to do it? Are you that weirdo who showed up to court for this abuser?
@@m3kidAnd from the family’s statement, they aren’t standing by him either. They said he deserves to rot in jail. They’re standing by Jorge. Sarah can relate more to the brother than she can to Jorge. Stop supporting abusers, you’re a walking red flag.
She mentioned her dogs in her statement but did not once mention her son 😢
She’s mad at him because he doesn’t want to talk to her so he doesn’t count to her anymore.
That is happening disturbingly often these days, not just in her case...
The one time she didn’t weaponize her son…
Didn't she say something about needing the car to pick up her son in the morning?
Bringing him up like that was even more of a dagger to the heart for me. Made it sound like he was a chore to her.
@YunaElphabaLovegood true & she said something about Jorge beating her on her sons pillow. But both times he was mentioned was to make Jorge the bad guy. No statement or apology or even her twisted "forgiveness" crap towards her boy. So sad.
Huge respect to all the jurors, but especially the jurors who were at the sentencing.

I am so very sorry that you went through all that you did, Maureen. 🤍
I’m proud of you for speaking in this and that you kept going, I’m sure you’ve given many other survivors hope. It’s so awful to hear Sarah co-opt victims’ experiences for her own gain. Hope you’re well.
She's no one's advocate except her own. She claims that the "abuse" started on the first date. I don't believe that for a second, but you don't develop an unbreakable bond that prevents you from ever leaving on the first date.
Well Neither did I, but she had zero malice in leaving him there, she is celiac and an alcholic and left him there because she passed out, not because she had the malice to make sure he died. Sarah's speech was appalling and nauseating. She symbolically spit on his whole family and the man she killed. She also continued to play mistreated victim....mistreated by her mom,George, his family, the judge, social media....on and on ad nauseam!
Well said. What made it worse was the way Owens coddled her instead of bringing her to the truth about herself and lack of responsibility. Owens could not even call it a murder. He referred to it as an “event.” RIP Jorge. I was so appalled at her, especially for cruelly hurting the Torres family one last time on the way into the clink. She KNOWINGLY brought in Jorge’s brother’s crime of stabbing his lover when this was not allowed into trial. She neglected, of course, to mention her own brother who is in prison.

I don’t believe Sarah Boone, or any of the things she said George did. Every video of her and George, he seemed scared of her.
This judge is great imo
For months, I've looked forward to Judge Kraynik's colloquy at her sentencing, but this was actually better: he was almost dismissive of her.
Sarah seems to thrive on outrage: it fuels her sense of specialness. Today, she finally got to be just one more violent felon adjudicated as such.
Rest in peace, Jorge

In short, "I apologize that all of you made me do it." She hasn't learned a thing.

Sarah started her pre sentencing statement with “i would like to forgive the person i murdered for all the damage they cause” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 so glad i watched that live. UNBELIEVABLE. like actually unbelievable
That was the most shocking thing I've ever heard
@ it was astonishing. She is so narcissistic she just couldn’t sit not leave that room without one more attempt to victimize herself. With her life on the line that was the most important thing to her. I honestly believe she talked herself into a harsher sentence
And his family!!! And the court for making such terrible decisions. So anyway, what’s your decision, court? 😂
Kraynick gave her the acknowledgment she deserved. ZeeeeRoe Seconds. "Life."
Nuff said.
She made it painfully clear to me why her Marine brother doesn't talk to her.
The three things that stood out to me:
She called him a monster and then said they were one soul in two bodies.
Her statement was so much worse than I imagined it would be. She really is her own worst enemy.
My expectations were low going into this.

So let's get one thing straight:
While Sarah may maintain that the death was "not intentional" - this little speech harming his family (and others catching strays) WAS fully intentional.

She talked herself into that sentence. Evil to the core. Good riddance, Sara Boone.

As a victim of a narcissist, I feel bad for the friend who advocated for Sarah. To me, promising a kidney sounded like classic future faking. It’s easy to make grandiose promises like that, especially when it’s clear there’s a vanishingly small chance she would have to actually follow through.
That's Sarah's way of bargaining with God for a lighter sentence.
And the recipient had no way of establishing whether or not Boone's kidney would have been a match!
She spouted this to get someone to speak in court for her imo.
Who would want her alcohol-pickled kidney!

The 'abuse' she was talking about with Brian was him wanting to stop paying her alimony while she's in jail, and wanting to move from Orlando to Gainesville because their son is being bullied (because of Sarah's notoriety).

Her message was so wrong, so inappropriate! It was embarrassing! The jury and judge got it right! Praise the Lord!!!!

Sarah’s comments only confirmed what prosecutors presented, she did this to him out of vengeance for what he did to her. Nice job for confirming prosecutors case Sarah!

I agree that your title is so perfect - she addressed THE WHOLE PLANET. I really can't fathom how anyone could be so spiteful.
Long comment, but well said and right on point 👌
Classic abusive relationship. She was definitely the primary abuser, on every level mental, financial, physical, etc. Jorge was definitely the victim.
You raised a really good point that she accuses him of all these terrible things, but doesn't have one single recording or video of him being violent. She's full of crap.

She also still thinks that the judge and the court are different people. She had no inhibitions attacking the judge because it's the court that decides her sentence.
I don’t believe her narrative about Jorge ! I still believe any violence from him was reactive
Late night crew watch (after work): I bought a 750ml bottle of chardonnay--and I don't drink a lot generally--then ate supper left for me from my daughter after work. I drank 2+ glasses, and have a buzz on. Generally, I don't drink a lot, so I've got😢 quite a buzz from 750ml bottle. Wow... I cannot imagine 3.750L of consummed by Sarah and Jorge prior to his being inside the suitcase. Overall, I am very happy with Sarah's sentence. And I am very pleased that Judge Krenick took all information into consideration and made the correct determination in sentencing life in prison.
😢Additionally, Sarah's son can now try to move on without acknowledging his mother's actions, and move forward without being anchored to his mother's actions. He can try to own his own life.
My prayers go out to Jorge's family. I empathize with his mother, his children, and his siblings who must go on without him. Please cherish the memories you each have, and continue to keep him in your hearts. My prayers go to all involved. Thank you to the LYK team for work you all do!
Can't imagine having the opportunity to serve 10 years compared to life without parole and blowing it
Her wounded ego is not happy.
All because she couldn’t accept responsibility and say sorry. Didn’t even have to mean it. Just had to say it.
I'm glad because she's dangerous. Very manipulative.
imagine how many times she is going to wake up in the morning, and that is her first thought.
it's wonderful.
@lindsayo9702 wouldn't have even had to apologize. Just admit that she carried out the action that she filmed herself doing.
Thank you for covering Sarah's sentencing. I truly enjoy you and your channel.
Tbh, the statement that Boone gave was pretty much what I was expecting. And she got, in my opinion whatever that's worth, the punishment she deserved. I was looking forward to your video on this. Really enjoyed your analysis on this and other cases.
I swear even though i expected something like what she did but the reality of what she said was wayyyyyyy more insane than I could have imagined
it's not at all unexpected but still WOW. just WOW
Drive safe Peter, night, night everyone❤
Thank you Sarah Boone for giving that statement to ensure Jorge Torres got justice. You dug your own grave. RIP Jorge Torres. Peace and love to the Torres family 🙏🏽❤️🕊️
Thanks Peter! Those videos clearly established Sara as being the aggressor in this relationship. Just verdict great judge.
I look forward to seeing what Dreading does with this!!
it'll take a couple of weeks but oh boy is that on my watchlist
I was so appalled by her statement that I had to get up and take a walk before getting to the actual sentencing
Same! I was stress eating all afternoon. Im outraged. This woman is so disturbed. Im so confused… she drags everyone then asked them all to forgive her?🤨
As a DV survivor and my mom died when I was 5, I didn't realize that meant I could torture and kill my ex. I just left him, hid from him and changed my life.
She is literally the worst person ever. Her speeches literally made me nauseous. I swear i hope his family is ok
I think her speech was absolutely prefect. Brilliant even. I can’t think of anything she could have added and hope she enjoys the fruits of said speech!!! Touché Sara Boone, Touché
I cant get over how emotionless she is
😅
She is not emotionless. You could feel the anger though the screen. She was pissed. She was also so prideful.
Anger. That's her only emotion.
She only had emotions for herself. Zero empathy for the victim. That’s because she’s a psychopath
@@2u2athis! Her anger was palpable- even for me as autistic person. This woman was ANGRY
She forgets she was able to make him leave, he went back to his mother‘s house I believe.. and then she started texting him via his mother‘s phone that she missed him, etc. If he treated her the way she is stating, why would she ever just take him back? He was already gone.
WOW I feel blessed to watch the first ever LYK roadshow ❤😂
Justice served!
I wish we saw more of his family throughout the trial because they seem like lovely women. My heart hurts so much for them today💔 the sister who talked about being triggered from suitcases and going to unzip it sometimes to feel better- just ripped my heart out! SO impactful!
Thank you Peter
She is a nut case!!!!! NO REMORSE!! She just had to put Jorge’s family through one last horrendence day!!!Justice for Jorge and his family🙏🙏
Replay crew here Peter and thank you so much for making it to the sentencing and giving us your analysis whilst travelling!
Quite an unbelievably shocking statement from her…or was it?!? Knowing her as we do 🙏😩😊
