I personally have never been much of a fan of Blake Lively, that being said, this complaint is truly abhorrent. I think that we need to remove our feelings about someone and listen to their statements with an unbiased ear. Thank you for covering this Peter!
@EmilyOutdoors With the way Blake has repeatedly conducted herself, making up that people were doing things in her paranoid little mind when they were not doing anything wrong, in fact were being nice, and going at them hard and viciously, people are indeed being unbiased when questioning if things happened the way she claims. Blake is great at being nasty to people to dominate and beat them down. She's repeatedly for years a dominating, nasty person.
Unbiased is recognizing dominating and abusing people because of imagined slights is a pattern with Blake and needing to be in control at any cost to others is a pattern through the years to others.
When I went against the Army for covering up SA, it turned into a popularity contest very early on. In the most disciplined institution in the world, it became something gross and ugly and childish. It shows how much society favors charisma and likeability and how that harms people when an abuser can take advantage of narratives to escape condemnation for their own actions. I'm also interested in following this case! I want to see this kind of smear stuff brought to an end and the public educated on it because its usually a working class injured worker or a mom or a single dad living in an apartment that this stuff happens to. I'm glad she's using her money to make this very public. I think she can be self-centered but still far less than just everyday men as a part of their personality and biology and I love them so see no reason to throw her to the wolves for being rich and self-centered. Also as a note, I'm sure most women here know how humiliating it is to stand up for ourselves and then have to ask our husbands, partners, or lovers for help to protect us when our correct attempts to set boundaries have failed. That broke my heart a little. We need things like this to be litigated to a conclusion so our boundaries stand on their own. This production company and Baldoni and his PR firm managed to hurt the cast, and her, and Reynolds and their family. It's so messy and sad when her first firm rebuttal SHOULD have been enough. Men really need to help men behave like civilized humans and not some species in the wild. It's so frustrating since we all know for a fact men get it so why is this still a problem we let the animalistic ones get away with. Really sad and frustrating.
@@liquideyesart Thank you for your thoughts. They help. What used to be denial that supported coverup is now empathy and I deeply appreciate that. Thank you and we are all doing much better now. It still happens but now the Army doesn't cover any of them up and that proves hope is worth the effort! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Honestly the impression I get from most people is really wish women would just keep sa to themselves and never speak up or burden anyone else with the details of the abuse so they shame women snd stick up for men every single time because no one wants to deal with actually punishing the huge amounts of abusers out there also men always stay on code and stick up for men even if they know they’re guilty
Im very sorry that happened to you. That has to be so hard to go through. I hope God has helped you heal from that situation. I am glad there are at least a few members of Congress trying to change that. How on earth do you know BL is self centered? Did I miss the part where you told us you know her. She actually has done quite a bit of fundraising for different causes.
@@TracyEscobedo I disagree - people only need to see the interviews where she displays her mean spirit and they won’t doubt that she is trying to ruin his reputation with these law suits. So desperate but not surprised with how obsessed she is with deceiving people into thinking she’s not awful
@saysomethingIGUOY I saw the interviews at the time. The female journo was inappropriate mentioning the pregnancy. Imagine she had just had a pregnancy loss and was keeping it private. Such comments are inappropriate to a stranger - famous does not mean public property. She was clapping back as a woman. Not a celebrity and I personally saw nothing wrong with it.

@banana_loaf1046 yeah but the people in the chat were correcting him when he hadn't said anything wrong. So even though we knew it came from the chat, it was confusing.
I think the people in the chat were joking because Blake always jokes with Ryan Reynolds about Ryan Gosling (saying happy birthday to Ryan R with a Ryan G photo for example) I believe the chat was doing that joke too (I could be wrong)
I am stunned by how cruel and at the same time how naive people have been in their reaction to this controversy. It's entirely possible for Blake to be an unlikable person -- but at the same time to be correct in her allegations against Baldoni and his production company. So many people seem to believe that truth can only come in strict black-and-white terms: IF Blake is not a nice person, they seem to argue, then she has no right to be offended by a hostile work environment. I find that utterly disturbing. It is entirely possible that Baldoni and his co-producers created a toxic and hostile work environment AND that Blake Lively is not a nice human being. BOTH things can be true. Her supposed character flaws does NOT excuse HIS obligation to have her work in a non-toxic work environment. As her director and producer -- as her boss -- he had certain obligations. Did he fulfill those obligations? Baldoni has marketed himself as a champion of feminism since his career began to take off about half a dozen years ago. If it turns out that his persona is simply a mask -- that essentially would sink his entire career and his 'brand'. So it makes sense that he would go on the offensive if he felt that Lively's complaints might tarnish his image. Understanding his motivations does not mean one endorses his actions: IF he did create a hostile work environment, then this needs to be exposed. Equally true is the idea that Blake Lively might very well be a "mean girl" in real life and an unpleasant person. I don't know. I don't care either way: But it is possible that she is on the right side of this issue here: It is entirely possible that her complaint has merit. I wish people could disengage from their gut feelings about these two people as media personalities and instead look at the evidence dispassionately and then make up their minds. FYI: The fallout has been swift: * Justin Baldoni Vital Voices Award Rescinded * Justin Baldoni's co-host leaves “Man Enough” podcast * Justin Baldoni Dropped From WME William Morris Agency
She's also apparently not the only one who complained starting literally on DAY 1 of the production. so that whole narrative of her deserving it is a little bonkers actually.
People aren't saying that since Blake is a "bad" person that therefore means its didn't happen. I think what people are saying is that Blake has a credibility issue, and people don't trust all of the claims that she is making. This is still a one-sided narrative, let's see what Baldoni has to say in response. When the movie came out one of the "rumours" that was leaked to the media was that Baldoni had body-shamed Blake and had asked what she weighed (in a derogatory way)... well, it turned out that Baldoni has a bad back (which he receives treatment for) and he had asked the trainer what Blake weighted because there is a scene in the movie where he needs to lift her up.
@@nilnil7325It's not a one-sided issue. The entire cast and the author of the book have corroborated with Blake's claim about Justin making everyone feel uncomfortable on sets and him actively creating a hostile and unsafe work environment
@@nilnil7325 I believe the messages in the complaint cannot be “saved” by any context. Plus, the entire cast and the author have a credibility issue as well? They all sided with her
@@gamovi11 In Hollywood having the cast agree with you doesn't mean much. Hollywood is the same place that gave Will Smith a standing ovation for winning the Oscars after he had violently assaulted Chris Rock. The place is full of lemmings, they go along to get along. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have the power in this situation, if a cast member publicly disagrees with Blake they will be blacklisted and ruin their career. The talent agency that dropped Baldoni, WME Agency, is the same talent agency that represents Blake Lively, Brandon Sklenar, and Jenny Slate. Its not a coincidence that Brandon and Jenny have issued public statements in support of Blake. Lets wait to hear both sides of the story before we jump to conclusions.
I’m interested in seeing how this plays out. The complaint on its own is pretty damning, as to be expected. If most of what she alleges in this is true, then what he and his team did to her during and after is disgusting. But I’d like to see corroboration for her claims.
@@paigehaywood5993 That's what I find weirdest about all this. The presentation in the filing makes the PR team response sound pretty disgusting, but... it's not. It's so mundane as to be boring. Two things can be true - 1) Blake Lively is a tone deaf, egotistical, rude person - evident in her past interviews and promotion of her hair products during press release - all of these behaviors uncoerced. 2) Justin Baldoni and others could have done some inappropriate/terrible things during filming... Hopefully time will tell.
@stephaniekeeping I don't think people are making him a hero, people just don't know anything about what really went on and we do know she has a bad history that has gone on for years and he doesn't seem to have the same history. She has a history of randomly inventing being offended for no reason and people are suspicious. More than anything, I think people are trying to rein it in and get some balance. Either way, he is not the reason people dislike Blake Lively. I've found her repulsive for years. She's rude, obnoxious, abusive, handsy, as in she is always physically grabbing people and pushing them around.
I think you only need to know Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, they’re the main people because they’re the celebrities and there’s the most information about them out there (not that this whole story is out yet, now with this lawsuit). Blake Lively is an actress in tv and movies, and her “claim to fame” was the TV show Gossip Girl, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, and Green Lantern. And Justin Baldoni was in a few TV shows and a couple movies before this movie they’re talking about. His “claim to fame” was the tv show Jane The Virgin. This movie they’re talking about is based on a book, Andy understanding is that the book is about a woman experiencing domestic violence and getting through that. And Justin plays the abusive partner and he’s also the director. Interestingly I don’t remember it being said in this lawsuit but Blake was supposedly a producer on the movie as well which may be another factor in why she didn’t just leave the project.
Go read the PR ladys response on socials. 😂😂she admits the texts are real and they were ready to go after BL but of course 'didnt need to ' yeah right babe 😂
I found you while looking for this case! Im active on Reddit and it suddenly feels like every sub is filled with PR narratives. Thank you for giving a balanced take.
1. The comments are to be expected but the fact that people still feel like if they don't like the person coming forward for whatever reason, it means it's a lie or doesn't matter. 2. If this can happen to someone with this much name recognition, then what does that say for those who are just starting out or without the name recognition?
He could be a monster it doesn’t mean she is not a bully. Very little in this world is black and white. If he did something wrong he should pay, but it doesn’t mean I’m going like BL after seeing her behavior towards costars and interviewers over the years, or her using the promotion of this movie to plug booze and haircare lines… I also find one thing to be very strange. On average, keyword average, a hallmark of these types of cases is a power imbalance, but arguably she was the more powerful person between the two of them. She had everything at her disposable to be able to leave and if they sued her for breach of contract then file this suit. People screaming “you’re blaming the victim” - we don’t know if she is a victim yet. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
@@les0101s Her bringing her husband as the chosen additional party in a legal business meeting rather than, I don't know, A LAWYER is a rather intentional message from her about the power imbalance.

@@Hummingbird25 updates keep coming out in favor of Blake. They had the same publicist WME and they dropped him because it's not the first time they have to clean up his mess
@ FALSE. They dropped Justin bc their WME clients Blake and Ryan are way more lucrative and wealthy than Justin. And NO this was the first time Justin had a scandal. THIS IS NOT SEXUAL HARASSMENT. Here’s what really happened: During a birth scene, they showed Blake some birthing videos, and she twisted that into claiming Justin sent her “nude videos of women.” As for “improvised scenes on set without consent,” it just means Blake is a control freak-improvisation is normal for actors, but she wanted to dictate every second. She emasculated Justin and was trying to take over as director. And “criticized her body”? There was a viral video where Blake lashed out at a journalist just for complimenting her baby bump. This shows that Blake’s reaction is coming from her own insecurities rather than any actual fat-shaming by Justin or the independent journalist.
@ I’m a lawyer and I’ve read the entire complaint. If the sexual harassment allegations are false then of course any man should have the right to defend his character and reputation
When I wanted to know about this whole situation I came directly to your channel!! I know here I’ll get the unbiased info. And as always you will help us understand all the legal stuff. Thank u for what u do! 💯
I wanted to chip in as a follower of Justin's for a few years that I actually find Blake's allegations quite believable. Justin has devoted a lot of time and effort to discussing gender in a healthy way, but he also often approaches that conversation from an extremely personal and intimate space. Sometimes that makes for somewhat awkward exchanges and vibes, something I notice both in his podcast and book. Seeing as all of these projects are his work just as this movie was, it's more than plausible that while navigating such a minefield of a script that his same over-intimacy could make an uncomfortably unprofessional work environment. Combine that with him being a relatively inexperienced director while Blake is used to A list treatment, and rubbing each other the wrong way bumping along these sensitive topics and interactions seems likely without them both being incredibly patient with each other. It's worth noting that the allegations she make also seem to parallel topics he speaks on elsewhere, which adds a layer of believability. For example, he proselytizes for his religion somewhat unnecessarily in his book, so him bringing it up on set would sound like quite the bizarre and implausible allegation to most people if they didn't know he already had shown a pattern of that. Same with working with friends, his relationship with his wife, etc. It all sounds very "him" and not "generic wild allegation pulled from a hat".
A lot of the things he said could be fine depending in the context he said them in. I could totally hear him say some of these things in his podcast and it not be weird. Many adults are okay having these kind of conversations. There is also a difference between someone saying things that are a bit awkward and him just not reading the room, versus saying something that could plausibly be interpreted as harrassment. I'm not sure which one of the two it is but I'm not cancelling him just yet.
Lively could be the worst person in the world and perhaps she is, but if the allegations in this complaint can be corroborated, it is a BAD look for Baldoni. Just because someone sucks doesn’t mean bad acts towards them are justified
It may be a bad look, but it wont fix everything else that came out about Lively. She was just so unlikeable in her interviews. She tries to be smart like Ryan, but it just falls flat.
I do believe there are some truths. reports a while back, that Baldoni made her feel uncomfortable when filming the intimate scenes esp when he would prolong kissing scenes. BL complained to her husband, that's how it all started going down
The complaint at one point alleges that Wayfarer failed to comply with basic employment requirements, and as employer, didn’t give BL a copy of the employment handbook and disciplinary/grievance procedure. One of the grounds of complaint is how Wayfarer handled the HR incidents (and alleged the company failed to investigate them which would amount to a breach under employment law). So, my question is, when actors are hired talent for film sets, are they legally classified and taxed as “employees” or are they “contractors”? Blake was also more than an actress for this film, so I’m interested to know what her legal and tax classification is (as that clarifies how far her rights go). I’m from the UK and our employment law differs widely (you are classified as either an “employee”, “worker” or “independent contractor” for employment law purposes but taxed as either employee” or “self employed” for tax law purposes, so classification plays a huge deal in our legal system).
I do not like Blake and honestly I have enjoyed seeing people finally see the bully she is….however….this is pretty messed up if this is true. People have been just dogging the crap out of her and if this is the reason, if he planned all of this….that is messed up !! It doesn’t change the fact that I don’t like her, but dang…this was brutal. I guess we’ll see !! It doesn’t look good though.
@@michele36618 I personally don’t pay attention to her, so have no opinion on her, but I appreciate this comment. A lot of the comments section seems to be people who don’t like her and aren’t looking at the actual complaint. Even if I don’t like someone, I wouldn’t wish this upon them. As of right now, this complaint is pretty damning, and it seems like she has some evidence on her side to back it up. Messed up if true though.
Idk what to believe but there are articles that Ryan Reynolds wanted to buy Justin out of the “picture” to ensure she can be in the sequel “at any cost”. I wonder if he accepted or declined. I wonder why a lawsuit now. 🤔
@ if this complaint is to be believed, those could be part of the social manipulation they describe. Right now, it appears BL has the evidence on her side, but only time will tell.
@@BayRaeDay we could also wonder if this was another manipulation tactic by Justin to make Ryan and Blake look like horrible people. I am so interested in following this case bc hopefully we’ll get some good evidence to see what in the world was going on behind the scenes. Everyone was praising Justin and being on his side during this entire fiasco and if he was manipulating everyone to get them on his side, he deserves to go down. I still won’t like Blake but maybe it’ll stop Justin from doing this to someone else. No one deserves this kind of dog piling she has received. My real wish is that Ryan will see this drama isn’t worth it and move to my hometown and come live with me !! 😍😍 😂 jk ……kind of ….i 💚 him though!!
How is she a bully? Everyone expects people to be some perfect victim and not ever have a bad day/interview. I’ve seen the interviews and I just think she is dry. I don’t believe she is mean or intentionally rude
That was long. I should probably go over it in full somewhere and read it from start to end again before making any commitment to an opinion. Throughout the video there were so many things that caught my attention I wanted to comment on. Unfortunately now I’m just exhausted and I feel like this entire situation is showing itself to be more and more performative and I’m not sure I feel like playing their messy games. I guess what stood out to me the most, well, lots, but something I did want to be sure to mention…….the tenth provision!?? “There shall be no retaliation of any kind……” “sarcasm”? “any changes in attitude”!? “will be met with immediate action.”?? Yet the studio can’t be sued? The studio (Wayfarer) and HR majorly dropped the ball in so many ways! I’ll agree that many of her complaints and concerns are absolutely valid and understandable! As any woman and mother would have empathy for several of the horrible moments she describes. However i can’t help but also think, as someone who’s had enough experience working at a job with others in real life, many of these issues could have been resolved with clear effective and timely communication, particularly if HR was being consulted and doing the HR thing properly, which by the sound of it, they weren’t. Not Baldoni’s fault. And if Baldoni is neurodivergent as he claims, (and personally from more than enough experience I’d say I suspected that before I got to the part where he mentioned it.) that this is something which absolutely needed to be addressed with HR upfront at the beginning of employment, not after it turns into a law suit. That difference alone could have played a vital role in how this was handled by the entire team. A lot of unnecessary problems on either side could have ideally been avoided completely if they established an appropriate social protocol together, upfront and straightforward, which B Lively could have been totally comfortable with! Everyone involved should have been able to work together on this project as a team. Which is what everyone working together to create a half decent movie should at least attempt to be, if they’re committed to making it successful. Anyway, the main thing I absolutely have to ask is if J Baldoni was presented with the COMPLETE list of provisions? At one point in the document there’s a condensed list, it’s definitely different from the one on the legal document. I’m not even convinced it’s part of it. This list outlined with a square line around it. It has a lot of the same same word for word provisions, some might be worded differently and others are completely missing. It’s first shown around the 12:36 mark and continues. However number 10 is not about what he’s being sued for on this list. As a matter of fact it’s not even on this list! I was able to pause that part to make sure. There’s a lot I couldn’t see because you scrolled through too fast. (I don’t blame you, it was a lot! lol) which is why later on, I’m fairly certain, (just not 100% about the date) that I saw this version of the list again within the document around where it also mentions the Feb. 4th meeting in person with J Baldoni to discuss these issues as well as for him to agree with the set of outlined guidelines/provisions. This makes me wonder what exactly was shown to him at that meeting? Did they only go over the condensed version of the list with him? Was he given a chance to read all of the listed provisions in the “official” document?, particularly the one being used for this lawsuit? And did he know exactly what he was agreeing to and signing during this meeting? This is just one of many questions and observations I had throughout your thorough video. You presented everything that’s available and maybe you had some similar questions or maybe more or different insight into some things within this doc and the more recent information? It’s really the document, those unnaturally worded text “receipts” and the entire situation that I’m thinking requires some more background information and context that might not be available. I’m also definitely going to need to go over and read the entire thing again when I’m more awake. I’m looking forward to checking out any other videos you do on this as well. If he didn’t agree with that particular provision? Not to mention, shouldn’t he have maybe had his lawyer go over it before he agreed and signed anything? Was he given that option? And really?! Personally I wouldn’t agree to sign that based on provision 10 which he’s being sued for! I’m not even sure I could trust myself to “not show any change in attitude.” Or let a bit of “sarcasm” slip, if everyone turned on me and wouldn’t have anything to do with me in public. I’m not trying to say he didn’t do anything wrong. I don’t know I wasn’t there. I do think it’s fair to guess he’s been pushed to the point of having quite a bit of animosity towards B Lively. I can see that. It might be completely warranted. I don’t trust this carefully curated document personally. That’s my opinion for now but like I said, I really should read it fully and thoroughly when I’m not half asleep.
I agree. After listening to the whole thing, Blake Lively’s side also sounds legit. Who knows what exactly actually went on, but it truly seems like the whole business and their associates are so calculated, sometimes we underestimate Hollywood and its power.
I just watched a couple of interviews where Ryan was interviewing the other costar in the movie. It was all very weird and sexual and even bought his mother into it. Just weird.
@gracejones2831 it would be weird for her to lie about this so publicly when everything could be easily disproved publicly as well. Her reputation is in shambles, and if all this is a lie, it will completely ruin her. So, I'm not sure about that lying claim.
Oh Peter, sexual harassment in the workplace happens in the open all the time. I worked in a film studio where HR would literally come on the PA and remind producers they weren't supposed to have bikini posters of women in the editing suite. You can't just leave because it's your job. As far as this case goes, i would not be surprised if sexual harassment occurred, but she has to take accountability for how she behaved during the pressers. I don't think the two should be conflated.
Exactly this! Years ago (not that many) I was a master student at a uni in Germany and talking about sex, sexual harassment, sexual blackmail were so common, I couldn't wait to leave that hellish place! Our prof was watching porn with the postdocs, they were having inappropriate discussions about female students, the prof was firing any male phd student or postdoc that started a relationship with any female student he liked, we were asked about our sexual preferences, we were showed junk pics and so on, and so on. Not to mention that he was stealing money from projects and drinking until he couldn't walk anymore and his students had to bring him home. And do you know what happened to him? He became a rector. That is how the reality looks like! And people dare to say women have equal rights nowadays? Please... We are far from it!

She is not stupid. She is not going to say that if the make up artist is going to say I wasn't there or every actresses would say I never filed a complaint. She knows a court case means these witnesses will be contacted and the evidence will be checked for verification. We will see but her and her husband would need to be Hollywood biggest idiots to lie about evidence and witnesses and I don't think they would be so successful in business as well as acting if they were that stupid

@@SusanaXpeace2uyes. And inviting his bestfriends on set conveniently only on the day of the intimate pregnancy scene where he says women are topless during labor.. just because his wife was.. to blake that has had FOUR kids!
In terms of why she didn't break the contract: I can understand why a woman wouldn't want to give up a role if she believes it will further her career or if she strongly believes in the message of the film. Also, if she believed that some of his behavior was done intentionally in hopes of driving her out, she may not have wanted to give him the satisfaction of backing down. There is also the element of knowing that if she isn't playing the role, some other actress with less power may find herself in an even more vulnerable position. I'm not saying any of this specifically applies to BL, just that it's not hard for me to think of reasons someone would stay.
Yesss, thank you for sharing because I was really wondering to myself why and I think those are some realistic reasons, even if none of those are what’s happened.
Lots of women are put into positions where they are the ones forced to leave and it is unfair when they are not the problem. If she leaves, it doesn't solve the problem, it moves it onto some other woman to deal with. The attitude of why didn't she just leave is what allowed people like Weinstein get away with it for decades. People who he tried it on with would walk away but not have enough evidence to bring it to light. She did the right thing and saved another actress and may have saved future actresses from going through the same
It would also disadvantage all the other workers involved. If they had the change the lead they probably couldn't afford to reshoot and everyone would lose out
Very intelligent and nuanced comment (so rare for utube). In her complaint, she said some of her assistants and staff had complained to her-- meaning that it became not only a dilemma for her, but for every woman who was working for her. (And from some reports, Baldoni's female assistant supports her, as well) Yeah, she might be a grade A beeotch, but it definitely sounds like she was thinking about other women on the set.
“It’s easy to ask, especially as men, ‘Why do women stay?’ But the real question we need to ask is “Why do men harm?’” - Justin Baldoni. Blake shouldn’t be asked why she chose to stay on the project despite Justin’s sexual harassment, and apparently Justin himself would agree.
An actor commented (have no idea if it’s true) that if BL pulled the pin, the movie would be shut down and everyone would be unemployed because of her 😢. Plus they already hadn’t worked for a while because of all the strikes. Obviously BL could afford to drop the movie but possibly not all the behind the scenes staff, so image how guilty you would feel making 100’s of people unemployed 😞
Right! I've seen so many comments saying why didn't she just quit. As if you can just up and change the lead part way through filming. So many people would have been disadvantaged if she left.
Oh wow ! At first I thought Blake was being a mean girl. But if this is true she deserves justice ! No matter if she is a brat no one deserves to go thru this!
That’s kinda where I’m at. She can be at fault for being a mean girl in that one interview, but if she was being sexually harassed on set and felt vulnerable then that’s awful. And if it’s true this actor hired PR to ruin her reputation, that’s awful and unbelievably diabolical.
She mentions that Justin Baldoni tried to get her to cross the picket line but admitted that Ryan Reynolds penned a scene in the movie without consulting the writers and it would’ve been DURING the strike which would‘ve been against WGA rules. So she and Reynolds crossed the picket line anyway! This lawsuit isn’t going anywhere. And I’m pretty sure there’s interview footage of her saying how SHE was the intimacy coordinator because she was a producer and it was her job to make the environment a safe one.
I rewatched that interview today and she didn’t say she was the intimacy coordinator. She spoke about the need to have them and implied she had tried to have/be the coordinator on the set. It’s interesting rewatching these interviews, unedited now there’s another side to the story.
She got the idea to sue from her also highly frivolously litigious bestie Taylor swift. And she WILL need the money cus she has tanked her own career with her own behavior in promoting this movie. “Grab your friends and wear your florals to my DV movie! So fun!!!”
If you read the complaint they were told to promote the movie that way by him & by Sony. I personally do not agree with that messaging at all (as a dv survivor myself). With the texts from him & his team, along with him only changing tactics & speaking out about DV (like they all should have been originally), after being called out for his behavior by her... is beyond inappropriate too. Who her friends are doesn't matter here, neither do her past interviews/promos for the movie. Yes, she should she have spoken out about DV & such. If Justin Baldoni was indeed inappropriate as claimed he needs held accountable. I don't care if people like Blake Lively or not, no one deserves sexual harassment, SA, or a smear campaign when speaking out & standing up. @jennisizzler
She is doing this because Justin has the rights to the 2nd book. I’m sure if he just signed over those rights to her and Ryan, all this case would disappear. People are upset with her because of her own actions. She had a reputation before Ryan of not being very nice behind the scenes.
I really think so too! There are articles from 2 months ago saying Ryan wanted to buy Justin out “at any cost”. I’m sure he declined to sell and here we are. 🤷♀️
stop pretending/assuming that you know the facts. everybody here seems ready and loaded with their opinion and 'facts'. clearly, the smear campaign was overwhelmingly successful.
She is upset with him because he’s gross. Y’all are just envious hearted people and jumped on a hate train to make yourselves feel better about who you are. Let’s be real
Some people are so unaware that people don’t want to hear about their inappropriate sexual behavior. My brother is a weirdo like this. Always talking about sex in a room full of people showing pictures to anyone who will look. My husband and I cringe and tell him to stop. But somehow he keeps doing it. Needless to say he isn’t allowed around and we only see him when we visit my mom
If that is how JB behaves. Big if. His costar in Jane the Virgin had nothing but amazing things to say about him when this scandal broke. I have to hear his side first. The problem is a lot of the cast have lined up behind the one with the most power.
@@Nikkers8 People NEVER STOP AMAZING ME on just how FOOLISH they ARE!! Blake is only making a FOOL of herself and Digging a deeper HOLE for herself. The woman is a Snake.
@@Nikkers8the things is in Jane the virgin, he was only an actor, while in it ends with us he is a producer and director alongside acting. He had more power on set
@Nikkers8 however I don't think they are saying anything. They just did the vapid interview tour with her. Maybe because they didn't want to be brought into the lawsuit as well? Yet the crew is on Baldoni's side
Mabye she knew her voice could be heard and tried to change things. If everyone alwasy just leaves, the atmosphete will never change, she was strong enough to try and make a change.
I've worked with both Justin and Blake and for Wayfarer, this is so wild I know all these characters...what a mess. I personally found Justin to be a bit full of himself.
This complaint has not been filed in court but to the California Civil Rights Dept,. They will investigate and try and resolve it out of court or take it to court themselves
I really believe her and Ryan want the rights to the second movie. Two months ago there was an article saying Ryan wants to buy Justin out “at any cost”.
Oh my gawd! That's crazy! Stay warm!! It's 2:50am in South Florida and 55°, and we're bundled up and freezing our butts off! 😂 I do love it, though. I'd probably die or fall into brumation if I lived where you do! LOL.
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but the reason there is no service information is this has not been filed in court it's been filed with the California Human Rights Commission. The texts are 100% authentic as they were compelled
Blake’s red carpet interviews were focused solely on promoting her new hair care line that coincidentally launched at the same time as the premiere. A movie that deals with deeply challenging and sensitive issues that many women face in real life. This topic deserves a thoughtful and respectful approach not a shameless plug for shampoo. This complaint may be an attempt to draw attention away from the public’s negative response to her insensitivity. Just sayin’
Yes because she was asked to do that. You guys care more about her promotion for a film rather than this man having 2 SH allegations and then expect ppl to think you care about women
@@bpeyton9295 Right why would a production company want an actor promoting their own product instead of the movie during the press tour for that movie. Please make that make sense.
@amandamandamands Apparently it was in her contract to publicize the movie in a 'light' way aka promoting dresses etc and getting Justin to promote in a 'darker' way aka domestic abuse. Like you, I am curious as to why this was the promotion strategy.
You ask why she didn't quit the movie. The answer is the same for anyone who suffers this kind of harassment at work. If this is true, why should she give up her career and financial security? This behavior seems horrifyingly common in Hollywood. Look at the Nickelodeon documentary and Weinstein. Horrifying.
The lady that took her one interview for this movie also had a bad experience with lively and chose to show that interview that she never published. So the second interview is old and Blake is still a dick in it.
You dont talk about someones pregnancy especially when it was still a secret. Its rude so she sassed back. Girl code was broken by the interviewer. @charyaka
@@Downthewell707exactly! You never know what’s happening in a persons life, you don’t ever bring that kind of thing up unless they do, it’s just common sense.
@@Downthewell707 Actually, Blake Lively announced her pregnancy at the Met Gala took place before that interview for Cafe Society. This is why her reaction to the interviewer’s sincere congrats on her pregnancy seemed unnecessarily and inexplicably rude. Furthermore, to assume that Blake’s wishes were that she wanted to keep her pregnancy quiet AND that the interviewer was aware of this and chose to disregard it is such a reach in and of itself for which there is no evidence! If this wasn’t bad enough, Blake goes on to speak with her costar, Parker Posey (who was marching Blake’s mean girl energy), like the interviewer wasn’t there while implying that the interviewer is asking them questions aimed at upholding patriarchy which again is such a weirdly negative accusation that isn’t justified by what was said. Basically, there’s zero excuse for her and her Parker’s behavior which deserves a callout and an apology from the two of them but don’t hold your breath because it’s already been eight years.
The receipts show he had been planning this because she complained about his behaviour and a confidential memo from his pr team that is included in the lawsuit shows them planning on using this exact excuse as one of the things they were going to use to discredit her. Obviously successful if you believed it. Just proves how much their campaign hurt her
How true the communication btw PR? How they obtained those? Blake was producer, almost take over directing and now she is the victim in a clear power war situation in which she has the power. Her husband knew about the whole situation and didn’t protect his wife is a telling about the kind of husband he is.
BL has a husband that knew about the supposed harassment and you think he did NOTHING to protect her, why? Was not money bc they have more money, credibility? Ryan has a lot and if he publicly declared someone was harassing his wife ppl would believe it. I call the whole situation fishy and manipulate by Blake
@@pchuru6734@pchuru6734 She was not producer. She only earned that credit at the end because she made her own cut of the film that had less sex scenes and a song from Taylor Swift included. Sony ended up using her final cut over Justin's, thus earning her the producer credit. Otherwise, throughout filming, she was just the female lead actress. Also, the emails and text messages were subpoenaed and that is how she was able to obtain them and include them in the filing. Read the New York Times article about this. She literally brought RECEIPTS and people are still questioning her. It's mind boggling.
Or maybe both sides are true to them. Blake was overly offended at comments and actions on set and has interpreted them in the worst way possible and not how it was actually said or intended. And Justin and co did and said some unusual things that could have been taken in a different rude and harassing way than it was intended. Maybe he did all the things alleged as written but it seems unlikely to me.
She and her husband took almost complete control of the project, changed, produced and promoted it to THEIR advantage. His vision was dismantled and what little control was due to having foresight to buy books’ rights . YET they want us to believe that Baldoni was able to get away with obscene abuse all the way to the films release? What bs.
If any of this is proven true, it’s offensive, unnecessary and deserves this kind of response in order to continue to maintain safeguards on film sets for EVERYONE. Harassment in the workplace doesn’t stop at the top. Australian prime minister, Julia Gillard addressed this in parliament in a now famous speech in 2012. FYI, current politicians say not much has changed. Yes it happens, even to production team of a film!
As soon as this dropped I was frantically scrolling thru my Subscribed list for someone who was covering the document and couldn’t find anyone! Until now! Yay Peter! And Mrs. Tragos. I never saw the movie but the drama surrounding it has been very loud. I just tuned in on replay. So here we go!
Regarding the question of whether she could or should have just left, gotten out of the contract, etc : why is it always the woman/victim who is expected to take the career hit or otherwise give up the endeavor at hand instead of being able to expect people to act appropriately, especially after they've been called out? These people could have simply acted professionally and decently instead of being abusive, hiring flying monkeys, and retaliating. It's not rocket science to know how to behave and people know they're wrong doing this stuff!
That's just how locus of control works. Generally we can control our own behavior but not that of others, so our brainstorming of solutions naturally runs toward what actions can be taken by the person who has indicated there is a problem. Sure, in any given situation it would be best if everyone acted so the situation wasn't an issue in the first place, but that's a useless truism.
I mean Blake lively is hardly an “struggling actress” that would need to endure harassment for the sake of a paycheck or roll. I’m not saying there wasn’t stuff on his end, just giving a reason why people are stating that she probably should have walked away from the project rather than platforming him and partnering with him on this film- which allowed him to (allegedly) harass every woman on the set
I agree why should a woman quit a job because a man is sexually harassing her 😡😡😡 this infuriates me this man is a predator and the fact that the film company stands by him is so gross 😡😡😡 sounds like Blake Lively came with receipts 👍👍👍👍👍
@@ashleycampion9178 I don’t think it is as easy as she should have left. Hundreds if not thousands of crew and cast are affected. They had already shot 1/2 the movie with a month to go when they had the HR meeting.
I was never a fan of BL. There are a couple of entertainment journalists who have been warning us about her for years, long before Baldoni was in the picture. Wasn’t she an executive producer in the movie? Why did she put up with all this crap? She had the power to stop it all. She and her husband could’ve stopped this right away. Having said that, it would not be the first time that a man hid behind feminism while treating women like shi*. I am wary of both of BL and JB. She may be a nightmare to work with but she could also be right. But she could also be trying to save her and her husband’s reputation because they are being cancelled.
@ my attitude is wait and see because I don’t know enough about it. My brain tells me what BL is alleging is not reasonable. Why would someone as powerful as she is put up with this kind of behaviour? Also the fact that I don’t like her makes me more cautious as I don’t want to be prejudiced by my own personal feelings towards her and the fact that I like JB and his feminist stance. As I said just because I don’t like her doesn’t invalidate the suit. And many men hid their predatory behaviour behind support for women and used the excuse of “jokes” “horse play “ although the neurodivergent one is new to me.
From the complaint it seemed like she was getting her ducks in a row to sue throughout filming. It seems these two didn't get a long more than anything. A lot of what she shares on set could look very different with added context.
Thanks as always Peter for a fair & thorough review of FACTS. I don't even want to delve into my opinions on this, but I will say I'm so glad I saw the movie (also read the book a couple of years ago) BEFORE learning about this mess. I don't think I could enjoy the movie now that I know about all of this.
I don’t buy it. This guy has nothing to do with Blake Lively’s behavior towards journalists and not only one, we saw many examples of her mean girl attitude. Her way of promoting that film was absurd and insulting to all the women who survived DV. What Baldoni has to do with this? She’s the one who has bullied everyone around her. I have a lot of difficulties to believe these allegations. And even if it is true, it has nothing to do with BL’s actions. She can’t admit that she screwed up her career big time.
People defend that by saying his studio told her to promote it that way and he sabotaged her by focusing on DV instead to make himself look better. But he bought the rights to this in 2019 and talked since then about doing the story justice. Even if she was told to focus on florals, she clearly took the reins in other ways that she wanted to, so I don’t believe that she wanted to focus on DV survivors but couldn’t.
And her behavior was hers. They way she spoke . And she could have said anythingbut ahe said " go grab a gF and wear your florals " @Nikkers8 It's so odd to me that she has kods and had the ability to make a small difference in a huge violence area that she hadn't been before. Bummer for her
I think we all understand why a woman contractually obligated to do PR for a film about abuse would appear salty when the set of said film was itself abusive. Asking her to smile, speak well of it, and not point out the abuse is crazy.
Blake is a bully and she will go the distance to destroy you if you cross her. I don't fully believe most of what she is alleging against JB. She had something with Ben Affleck while he was married, and later with Ryan when he was married to Scarlett. For both men, it was while she was on the set with them. With Ryan, he divorced Scarlett right after filming with Blake ended, and married her less than a year later. The timing was all suspicious and this is why I've never cared for her. SHE'S DIRTY.
Em scarlett has openly spoken of BL kindly many times. I think you've read to much tat press like the national enquirer. She has no issue with BL. People meet and marry quickly all the time. Sounds like you're a hater. Like everyone who hated on Jolie for getting with pitt. HE was the married man not her.
I find it hard to believe that Justin acted that way when he has pretty good long term friendships from his previous shows. Blake on the other hand has been known to cause drama on her other shows/movies. 😬
I mean…the text are pretty damning. Seems like it pretty clear that he was coordinating a smear campaign to “destroy” her if she wasn’t positive about him and the filming. Kind of disturbing. This is how they talk about Blake Lively…can you imagine how they are still treating female stars coming up with money or influence?

I started working at 14. I’m much older than that now. What I’ve learned about workplace relationships is that two people can work together as long as one is sane, even if the other person isn’t. When you put two narcissists/egomaniacs/nutjobs together, that’s when somebody ends up in court or in front of a labor judge. Not saying that’s the case here, but I see many of the hallmarks and signatures.
Having sat through the breakdown of this lawsuit. Thank goodness I took a decision to be done with Hollywood celebrities and their movies/music a few years ago. I was just interested in hearing details of this lawsuit. Blake is no angel by any means, but if there’s any truth in this lawsuit, this Baldoni dude is beyond disgusting. These people are so self-absorbed, so ego-driven, and backstabbers to each other it’s mind blowing. They forget that the fans they seem to manipulate, contribute immensely to their success and riches or lack thereof. Well, I guess good luck to all involved. So long Hollywood!✌🏽
I have read that the writer picked BL as the main character. I didät see the movie, but I remember the storm against BL on social media, it was everywhere.. And as you a reading the lawsuit, I can actually remember the depicted timeline (not saying who is at fault) but it was like, an explosion about why Justin is not in promotional pics, then Blake joking, and promoting her hair line, then the line of her bullying the reporter, and everyone sticking up for Justin, then rumors that Blake took over the set..OMG
Although it's not the type of movie I would watch, on social media, several SA victims who have watched it, have spoken out about the movie, saying that Blake Lively appeared disingenuous in her role & more than anything else, the movie seemed like a self-promotion campaign of Blake Lively. If you google "do people think Blake Lively's newest movie was a big self promotion campaign" the AI will say yes and explain why. So, if you would like to learn all about how fabulous Blake Lively and all of her products are, go see it and have fun.
TBH.. there WAS a concerted effort to smear Blake. A PR expert I like mentioned this exact firm and pointed out how that interview for Cafe Society came out after he hired them. I’m suspicious of Blake but I 100% believe Justin’s team leaked a lot of this.
I first saw stuff about Blake regarding the horrible promotion of the film. And only after that the problematic interviews resurfaced. Sure there probably was help but the discontent was already there.
We all saw the interviews Blake did she was promoting her hair line her alcohol line, and other nonsense BS but nothing about DV. She played her self. Ambert Turd 2.0
“What is missing is proactive actions”….in the meantime there are texts crediting hit pieces on the crisis team, someone meeting for dinner arranging another hit piece, telling social media people to amp stuff up and how they will continue to do this and that. The language being used by the people that “just strategizing” implies that they are doing more than strategizing
So she behaves like a spoiled-nepo-baby-married-to-a-star because some shady smear campaign? She was caught saying weird shit dozens of times when promoting movie about DV. Some people had to leave cinema when the DV happened in the movie because the main star rallied ladies to come into cinemas in their floral dress and never mentioned the deeper meaning of the movie.... She's responsible for her own behaviour and unless those interviews were created by deep-fake I honestly do not understand how this would be all made to make her look bad. SHE made herself look bad.
If you read the full complaint and the attached evidence, you will see that her contract meant that she was not allowed to talk about the deeper meaning of the movie and she had to stick to the contracted marketing plan which was to talk about it as a story of hope, not about the DV. Then JB was the only one who could address the deeper issues and look like the hero that cares and she would look shallow and insensitive and get public backlash for it while he got praise for supporting DV victims. This was the plan he came up with to make him look good after all the crew unfollowed him on social media.
Assuming this complaint is true, this is fucked up. I can also believe he would be doing damage control after having so many issues with her on set. Both of them are questionable - he gave me White Knight Syndrome vibes before this complaint and she’s clearly used to getting her own way. I would not have liked to work with them.
I read the book not too long ago and it was excellent. I haven't seen the movie (is it out yet)? but they are making a mockery of it. Some books should never be made into movies. Just saying.
Hiring PR is totally legal. If she was complaining about him on set and it was mainly just an accusation that he is chauvinistic but not abusive, he had to have known she would use it against him later. They plaid defense and WON, good for him. Blake is a child. Tell her to GROW UP!
The thing it says on the docs is that he hired a crisis team because he feared she would not promote the fun as much as she promised to and in fear of it hurting the movie he started to play defense it was preventive move
Both things can be true simultaneously, Justin can be a dirt bag, if these claims are true he absolutely is very much that... Blake can also be a rude, entitled, and awful person (the interview she did where she and another actress were terrible to the interviewer). Just because she is/was a victim doesn't mean she's not also a bih herself 🤷🏽♀️
Exactly, it's that messed up combination of being powerful enough to walk but not powerful enough to stop everyone else suffering, all those people who work on a movie, reliant on it a. coming out and b. being successful

I personally have never been much of a fan of Blake Lively, that being said, this complaint is truly abhorrent. I think that we need to remove our feelings about someone and listen to their statements with an unbiased ear. Thank you for covering this Peter!

@@007nadineLI am guessing she didn't file these 80 pages with the California Civil Rights Department with the intent of not proving anything 😂😂😂
After she crapped over all victims of domestic abuse? She’s not making it easy to make people garner sympathy for her
@EmilyOutdoors
With the way Blake has repeatedly conducted herself, making up that people were doing things in her paranoid little mind when they were not doing anything wrong, in fact were being nice, and going at them hard and viciously, people are indeed being unbiased when questioning if things happened the way she claims.
Well said! Also I'm sorry that happened to you in the army. Sounds like a nightmare.

@tsugal11 he had a live chat on, so that’s most likely where it came from.
Was thinking the same thing! Glad you said this! Silly, but it bothered me
@banana_loaf1046 yeah but the people in the chat were correcting him when he hadn't said anything wrong.
FYI:
The fallout has been swift:
* Justin Baldoni Vital Voices Award Rescinded
* Justin Baldoni's co-host leaves “Man Enough” podcast
* Justin Baldoni Dropped From WME William Morris Agency

She has a history of randomly inventing being offended for no reason and people are suspicious. More than anything, I think people are trying to rein it in and get some balance.

Why don’t I know who these people are?

1. The comments are to be expected but the fact that people still feel like if they don't like the person coming forward for whatever reason, it means it's a lie or doesn't matter.

Thanks for your input
Thanks for this perspective.
Very good points. Thanks for giving people another layer of how we can determine the truth in mess like this
Good input. Thanks for sharing.
I pity the judge that gets stuck with this one if they don’t settle.

I do believe there are some truths. reports a while back, that Baldoni made her feel uncomfortable when filming the intimate scenes esp when he would prolong kissing scenes. BL complained to her husband, that's how it all started going down
@@ronburgundy3172 subpoena the phone records and get all people involved in depositions.
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle, as it is with most things.
Good points, in the legal case filed by Baldoni-they denied seeing thr 30 point page. Good observation btw

@ivory8581 Have you seen this movie? What makes you deem its story morally indecent?

But as Blake had no fear showing who was with her like make up artists, and has made known there were other actresses who made complaints and seen what was happening, its highly likely she is confident that her story will be corroborated.
She did the right thing and saved another actress and may have saved future actresses from going through the same
Thank you Blake for speaking up. The cycle will not stop but maybe you can put a dent in it!
(And from some reports, Baldoni's female assistant supports her, as well)

Oh my gawd! That's crazy! Stay warm!! It's 2:50am in South Florida and 55°, and we're bundled up and freezing our butts off! 😂 I do love it, though. I'd probably die or fall into brumation if I lived where you do! LOL.
Ontario...its cold here too. I hate winter.
Ontario. It's minus -18 c / 3.6 f today 🫠
The fact that they sat silently while she got dragged was so evident of them being the driving campaign behind it
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but the reason there is no service information is this has not been filed in court it's been filed with the California Human Rights Commission.

Just sayin’
I see your point but Sony asked her to do that .
Yes because she was asked to do that. You guys care more about her promotion for a film rather than this man having 2 SH allegations and then expect ppl to think you care about women
@@doodlebug5105 Sony asked her to promote her shampoo during the promotion of the movie. Weird.
So great, honest and open he read that for the first time with us. I have such faith in Peter Tregos. Just so honest and fair.
You ask why she didn't quit the movie. The answer is the same for anyone who suffers this kind of harassment at work. If this is true, why should she give up her career and financial security? This behavior seems horrifyingly common in Hollywood. Look at the Nickelodeon documentary and Weinstein. Horrifying.
2:47 I too saw the interview and thought it was current and really interesting to find out it was from 8 years ago and just now surfaced.
Yup this!¡
The lady that took her one interview for this movie also had a bad experience with lively and chose to show that interview that she never published.
Could this have anything to do with Blake not being able to buy the rights to the sequel from Justin
Blake and RYAN. There are two other books and Justin’s production company bought the adaptation rights
Yes please continue to cover this ! I want to know whose side of the story is true🙏
Peter @lawyeryouknow your funniest line was about Whitney "planting the seed" and then "watering it daily" to get you to cover this.... LOL. 😅
She and her husband took almost complete control of the project, changed, produced and promoted it to THEIR advantage. His vision was dismantled and what little control was due to having foresight to buy books’ rights . YET they want us to believe that Baldoni was able to get away with obscene abuse all the way to the films release? What bs.
YOU don't have to believe anything, the courts and the evidence don't care.
Her and Ryan had their hands on every aspect of the film so it boggles the mind how Justin coulda gotten away with all that alleged behavior
Have you even listened to what he’s reading in the lawsuit?
@@GabrielTheMagolorMain Yes. And none of it is even a little compelling.
@@GabrielTheMagolorMain
😂
Other media outlets are saying it's not a civil lawsuit but a California Civil Rights complaint. Can anyone clarify?
I would love to see Blake’s texts about the same time.
It all sounds like porn to me.
Oh you will, he will file a countersuit and then discovery will be pulling all the emails and texts from her.
"congratulations on your little bump"
“Congratulations on YOUR little bump” 😂
@@gamigirlHeatherB wHaT aBoUt My BuMp?
That was such a bad interview
She also commented on Parker Poseys breasts. How is that not sexual harassment.
What a diva. Makes me rethink her husband too.
Emily D Baker also went over the legal document on her channel.
Well, first you have to know whether or not they did it.
I fell for his whole campaign. Glad to hear the truth
No trial has even begun. Hold your horses
One person’s “truth”. There are two sides.
I choose D. All of the above
Ryan wants to buy Justin out of the project “at any cost”. He wants the rights to the second movie. I believe Justin declined and here we are.
@samaritaDeath
I would say she didn't stop it because she caused it. She's the one with the history of horrible behavior, not him.
From the complaint it seemed like she was getting her ducks in a row to sue throughout filming. It seems these two didn't get a long more than anything. A lot of what she shares on set could look very different with added context.
I really enjoy watching legal deep dives. 👍
Blake Livley ruined her own reputation!!!! She doesn’t want to take responsibility.
You: I would just look away from profs she provides and go with my “feelings” instead.
Yes! Even if his team amplified her behaviour as a defense -where is the legal culpability in that? The content came right from her mouth.
And her behavior was hers. They way she spoke . And she could have said anythingbut ahe said " go grab a gF and wear your florals " @Nikkers8
It's so odd to me that she has kods and had the ability to make a small difference in a huge violence area that she hadn't been before. Bummer for her
@@BayRaeDayI agree with you!
As the LYK has stated, if she can prove it she will.
Ryan, as a married man to Scarlett is the one to hold accountable here.
Doesn't make her a bully.
@@danidan9917 I'm convinced you're BL or her PR. You've been all over defending her.
Omg!! Youre going to hit a million in two minutes🙏☃️
In my experience, any man who builds a personal brand on the basis of being a champion of women always winds up being shady af
This is believable to me, as I have worked in and witnessed similar working environments.
I find it hard to believe that Justin acted that way when he has pretty good long term friendships from his previous shows. Blake on the other hand has been known to cause drama on her other shows/movies. 😬
Yeah, let’s just look away from proof and go with your “vibe”.
@@ilibili7489 What proof sis? And no we are not talking about these hearsay messages or Blake's claims about what happened. What actual proof are you referring to?
@ oh, they are lhearsay” when you see them and they have been obtained by subpoenas. How much more proof do you need ? Also, I’m not your “sis”, take your uncalled familiarity and go.
@@ilibili7489 seems very personal to KMG. She’s been all over this feed
They were trying to make her look really bad and depressed, and I never understood why they were doing that as the movie was being released
Not a fan of her and her husband Ryan Reynolds eh I'm Torontonian Canadian eh and i never likes this actors why they're not interesting actors and nothing i would likes their acting hahaha hahaha eh
She comes across as a mean girl
I started working at 14. I’m much older than that now. What I’ve learned about workplace relationships is that two people can work together as long as one is sane, even if the other person isn’t. When you put two narcissists/egomaniacs/nutjobs together, that’s when somebody ends up in court or in front of a labor judge. Not saying that’s the case here, but I see many of the hallmarks and signatures.
I love Justin. I hate this is happening to him. He seems so kind. She seems awful.
She says she saw the movie and didn't like it so she posted it. Blake not being likable in that video is on her. Can't speak to the rest yet
It seems they hated each other. I feel like the retaliation on both sides stems from the resulting power struggle but will wait to hear both sides.
I read the book not too long ago and it was excellent. I haven't seen the movie (is it out yet)? but they are making a mockery of it. Some books should never be made into movies. Just saying.
I think it is. But it was direct to streaming??? I could be wrong!
Yup-it's rampant in Hollywood and I have no doubt BL's team did the same but just didn't have the material to drag him through the mud.
See which one sticks! 😂 7:29
Can't just leave a movie when hundreds of people are dependent on the job and investor $$$
Exactly, it's that messed up combination of being powerful enough to walk but not powerful enough to stop everyone else suffering, all those people who work on a movie, reliant on it a. coming out and b. being successful
