I don’t know about anyone else, but usually when I play hide and seek, I don’t help hide the person I’m about to try and find. Defeats the purpose when there’s only two players. 🙄
I totally believe her story. It’s very possible that she locked him in a suitcase, forgot and fell asleep. Heck, my wife was hanging of the window ledge the other day and I tried to save her but forgot and went to bed

Yes all that is true I was only pointing out just how manipulating and cunning Sarah really is and that there was more to what was going on than meet the eye that all.
The ex husband won this day. Sarah was using the 1600 monthly alimony from him to live on. Now, he doesn't have to pay it anymore and he gets full custody of the son. Also the son doesn't have to grow up with this wack job of a mom.

I think people have claustrophobia depending on their birth experience. Being squeezed out of our mother's bodies, possibly very slowly, hour by hour, centimeter by centimeter, contraction after contraction. That feeling of being a little oxygen or very oxygen deprived as we move along. That feeling of being STUCK...no longer floating in fluid. The reason I think this? I never even knew I had claustrophobia....until I was 8. I was actually playing hide and seek!!! I hid under a bed and had a total panic attack! The first and ONLY panic attack ever!! This person? She's very sick!! So he choked you? Then just go! Leave!
That’s not a cover up she’s literally confessing to killing him. She said she zipped him in a suitcase and then forgot and went to sleep. That’s a confession to at the very least involuntary manslaughter.
She also contradicted herself saying she was going to /in bed by 12:30. When originally she said she fell 😴 . Falling asleep and going to bed are two different things. Off 1 bottle of wine? Seems unbelievable
@@Rickordss She said they were playing hide and seek. You cant zip yourself into a suitcase so the game really wasnt fair because she knew wherre he was hiding.
it was obvious she did it before the questioning even began. when she asked to run back inside the apartment before the cops "i left a cigarette lit, i need something to drink, i left my Dr Pepper on the counter..." She was panicking and remembering more loose ends she wanted to tie up before cops got in there.
Makes you wonder how much she's deteriorated in the last decade since it seems things started going downhill after their now 9yr old was born. Would love to have seem early family photos.
He's gotta be relieved. He gets 100% custody, no more child support which was what sarah was solely living on. Idk y no one mentions it, but the reason she called the ex husband over first was she was hoping he would help cover up her crimes, yet he wasn't playing that game.
I absolutely love how her ex immediately throws her under the bus. He's probably so happy. Imagine having to pay alimony and share a child with this demon.
If my partner died in a suitcase I would be screaming and losing my mind. Hysterical to a level I couldn’t imagine. The only time she shows emotion is when it’s referring to her. The first officer on sight is amazing and deserves a promotion.
I think she may be lying, but I also think judging people by the emotions they show is dangerous. People and relationships are different. She might care a lot and not be a demonstrative person. She might not care for him but still not be a killer. She is obviously hung over and strung out here, which shows her substance dependence but could also impact her emotional reactions. (I can say, as an arthritis/headache sufferer, there are some mornings when if the police were interviewing me I'd be begging them for coffee and aspirin just so I could possibly get through the conversation.) Potential criminals should be assessed on the logic and accuracy of their stories, not the level of emotion they show when questioned.
This female Deputy who is conducting this investigation is definitely an asset to her profession. Even in the face of such an unsettling scene she takes the time to remain polite, professional and compassionate. Kudos to you ma’am

I think she meant to leave him in there "and make him squirm a little bit, or whatever" Sarah's own words. Leaving someone in a suitcase for any length of time is barbarous, and very dangerous. Leaving someone in a suitcase while they are begging to be let out because they can't breathe is a whole other level. So delusional, CPR when he's been in the suitcase since around 12:30? No, he'll be alive ready for more painting, or even playing hide and seek.
The dad seems happy that she's about to be outta his life and have his son 24 7 safe in his care. Divorced a year and a half and the bfs been around for the last 3 and a half years. She sounds like sweetheart.
Divorces especially when child custody is involved take a very long time even years. I agree the husband seemed happy, definitely spilled the beans on domestics but the timeline thing is speculative especially when you consider most marriages are over years before even filing for divorce. I mean he has a cool enough relationship to show when she calls for a potential homoside.
Spoiler altert, even though she was convicted of murder and sent to prison for life the family court system still awarded her custody of the children with her ex ordered to pay child support to her.
I would bet that Sarah actually did get up in the morning, saw that Jorge was dead then ran back up to bed for hours trying to figure out what she was gonna do then eventually realized she had no choice but to call the police since her ex husband was blowing up her phone.
I tend to agree. she was in that timespace where no one would expect anything to be out of the ordinary, but as time went on she needed to confront reality, which is when she setup the games and puzzles as an excuse for their "great day". The truth is nothing was great about that relationship.
I would've exploded and splattered inside of there from the mental anguish and muscular paralysis. Huge respect to Jorge for keeping it in check to a huge extent during his waning survival.
I also feel like it would be extremely hard cut through a thick suitcase if you were awkwardly crammed into such a small space. How would you be able to move your arms at all? Even the thought of that is just horrifying.
Her ex-husband must be delighted that he is her "ex" because life with Sarah must have been one thrill after the other. Not only does she get him involved in the drama of not picking up their child when she is supposed to do so, because she is too busy drinking, but she gets him indirectly involved in a murder investigation. Well done, Sarah!
I know it and like the ex-husband was so cooperative and gracious about all of it, even though he had no part in any of this ridiculousness and the murder of her poor boyfriend. He just went along with it and stride because he knew probably that his ex-wife was going to get locked up and that she probably intentionally did it

That female cop is awesome. Love the way she comes across so amenable and non-judgemental and calm - but underneath she must be like ‘woaaahhhh man this is CLEARLY not an accident and we need to preserve the scene and get as much information as possible as evidence. Bravo.
so polite to make someone sit out in the heat of florida without water that they repeatedly requested. suspicion of a crime or not, she just says she will get her a drink then takes her time doing an investigation. doesn't have a good idea of separating her investigations, often interrupting people midsentence to move then an extra 10 feet away. You have a poor understanding of what a good job is.
She seems so disassociated, so out of touch with reality. She seems narcissistic, there’s literally no emotions and it looks at times like she tried to mirror or play out the feelings she thinks she should be having but it just looks so strange.
Watch her interrogation.. It's here on RUclips.. I couldn't sit through the whole 1hr and a half because of work but it looks like good t.v.. She's charged with 2nd degree murder. Trial is in November.
Even if her story of events were true and it was an “accident”, it doesn’t explain her lack of emotions towards the fact that her boyfriend is now dead.
She's more worried about the 'family' of his coming to 'kill' her; coz apparently they've accused her of being capable of murdering him, she sure proved them right.
Playing devil's advocate, the potential trauma of finding a loved one dead, especially if it was an accident and you feel responsible for it, can absolutely cause shock that would lead to atypical behavior. Not everyone reacts the same way in situations like that, although literally everything about her story makes no sense so there's that hurdle to get over first.
You decided to play hide and seek but he just hid and you didn’t seek and then you fell asleep after half a bottle of wine?? Plus how did he supposedly “hide” himself in a suit case? I have to say, after a full 30 years in LE and now retired, the initial female Deputy did an outstanding job. So many times you never know when something turns out to “Just a death” or an actual Murder! Men, do not hesitate for one moment to place a court-issued restraining order against your female partner if you feel your safety and health is in jeopardy. Placing a permanent restraining order on my female partner was absolutely the wisest protective move of my adult lifetime. My only regret is not doing it years earlier. Men, be safe!

@@preemelice5604 it's not meant to protect you from physical harm. It's meant to give you an immediate cause to call the police and for them to immediately react... simply because that person is violating the restrictions of the order (distance, contact, stalking, etc).
I,m happy it worked out for you. Problem is that it's mostly the man who's arrested in domestic violence cases. Even if he's the victim and the one who called the police. It can even be used against him in family court in case of divorce or a custody battle. This is because of the duluth model. It dictates that not the one initiating the violence, but the one most likely to win a physical fight is marked as the primary aggressor. This is almost always the man. A restraining order might be a good idea early on. But better make sure you have a good lawyer. Because it might just as easily turn against you. I've heard from men who were attacked by a female partner, called the police, and were jailed themselves. Then they lost everything in family court and forced to pay their abuser. It's heartbreaking some of these stories from male victims.

I have to agree with everyone else. The woman in charge, or at least the woman who was talking to the suspect, was so professional and calm. She is an outstanding officer.
The poor ex-husband. You can see it on him that he kind of understands by intuition alone what has really happened, and that he now has to tell his son that his momma is in prison for murder charges.
I'm sure all the nervous laughter was mostly due to the dead body he saw inside and was told to come check out by his ex-wife. However, I bet very quickly his brain started processing this could have been him if he had stuck around.
He was screaming at her to let him out, because he couldn't breathe! He told her he couldn't breathe. She left him in there overnight. As punishment for cheating on her. She recorded herself doing all of it. They were not playing hide and seek.
She’s accused of murder and she worries about a Dr Pepper that she left inside? That’s disgusting. She’s showing no remorse whatsoever. And her story obviously doesn’t make any sense. You let him stay in a suit case you FORCED him to get into. Who gets in a suitcase playing hide and seek? I saw the video she recorded of him shouting her name while he was suffocating! She’s literally sick in the head!!!! The ex was lucky to get away from her.
Ditto! Hoping to know as well since I'm not caught up with this case but the little that I've seen from this video it all seems so tragic and horrible.🙄🤦🏻♀️
I know right? I had something similar that I kept in my trunk of all the forms I may need on the road. People were constantly asking me if i had one form or another because they couldn't be bothered to be prepared. lol
The worst and disturbing thing in all of this is that she meant to kill him and recorded a video laughing when he yelled that he can’t breathe. She’s so sick.
The video of him begging for her to let him out is disturbing, and to consider she left him in there until the next day after noon. That’s a callous homicide. leaving someone in a suitcase for 14 hours leaves no room for her to say she didn’t mean for him to die. It’s no different than if she shot him and said she didn’t mean for him to die. It’s a deadly act, done intentionally and callously without mercy.
Most murders are crimes of opportunity, the person is not displaying any murderous behaviour unless they feel they have the opportunity to get away with it.
More than once she failed or forgot to do certain things in her checklist. For example, the brief interaction with the cop who was talking with the ex husband. She asked if so-and-so was on the way yet. He kind of gave her a funny look and she asked "oh, I'm supposed to make the call?" She is a good cop, but I think she's either very new or very tired. Both are possible.
Well considering she’s asking questions instead of assuming things…in law enforcement you learn by repetition and on the job training. Soooo this is exactly who we want to have out in the field.
“His family never liked me”. Considering the circumstances, they saw things he refused to see. When EVERYONE around you hates your significant other, check your significant other!
@Colleen Carole That is why his family called her the blue eyed dragon. They knew she was a devil full of evil. What do you think about Sarah sitting there with her arm stretched out in front of her in totally opposition of the detectives spewing lies about "I will not say anything about being guilty or me killing Jorge, it's being pinned on me , it's being pinned on me, as she repeats herself when lying. Not my intention and whatever I need to do to prove that I need to do it, not my I intention". Is she off her rocker or what, who else was there to pin it on or who else intentionally killed Jorge other than her? Sarah said there was no one else there all day, just the 2of them, so why is it being pinned on her? As Sarah says all this backfired on me now. Lol She is the only one that did and she proved that with a video. Help me understand, please! Lol.. Lord!!
@SaggyNaggy That was a small and quick diversion from the truth to get the heat off herself talking about anything and nothing to switch gears for a second to give her a moment and get the detectives off track which is something Sarah did often throughout the interrogation. Involving others like the ex wife that had nothing to do with the night Jorge was killed by Sarah and I wish the detectives would have stopped her from doing that, but of course they didn't and some of the time when Sarah pulled that type of crazy the detectives did lose their train of thought, so it worked on them some of the time. Although I must say Chelsea did ask Sarah at that time what did that have to do with anything?

Well you probably saw the interrogation. She "excel's at everything":....WHO TF says that?? Nobody excels at everything and if she excelled at much of anything she would have been awake to pick up her son from school (the ex says she often is not dependable for these various types of parental duties, so clearly she was not "an outstanding mother to her son" as she claimed to police.) The claustrophobia I feel thinking about being stuck in a suitcase makes me sick.

That feeling of being a little oxygen or very oxygen deprived as we move along.
That feeling of being STUCK...no longer floating in fluid.

The first officer suppressed so many eye rolls.
I think she may be lying, but I also think judging people by the emotions they show is dangerous. People and relationships are different. She might care a lot and not be a demonstrative person. Men, do not hesitate for one moment to place a court-issued restraining order against your female partner if you feel your safety and health is in jeopardy. Placing a permanent restraining order on my female partner was absolutely the wisest protective move of my adult lifetime. My only regret is not doing it years earlier. Men, be safe!
no court order is gonna stop someone from harassing you. and its your own time n money ure investing into keeping the case open if youre gonna go that far with it.
In THIS system a restraining order does absolutely NOTHING if someone wants to harm u! Period
A restraining order is not a guarantee for your protection but it is better then nothing.

The officer in the beginning did a great job , she is what we want in law enforcement.
Lol.. Lord!!
So true…
And she has the nerve to say his ex wife was evil
I learned that lesson the hard way 😖

Well you probably saw the interrogation. She "excel's at everything":....WHO TF says that?? Nobody excels at everything and if she excelled at much of anything she would have been awake to pick up her son from school (the ex says she often is not dependable for these various types of parental duties, so clearly she was not "an outstanding mother to her son" as she claimed to police.)
