If you saw the interrogation footage, you'd understand. The attorney can do their job without having to meet with you every day - especially if there's nothing new to discuss.
To answer Peter's question: NO, she will not be going to trial this year. She will be lucky if she gets a trial by 2025. She waived her right to speedy trial, putting other priority cases before hers. Murder cases can take years to prepare with experts and so on. She's basically starting from scratch. Even if she was to represent herself. She will still continue to write letters to the judge. Complaining of lack of communication, unanswered phone calls, inadequate face-to-face time, irreconcilable differences, unprofessionalism of council. I don't even think she could get along with herself! You can feel her frustration in her letters but they also clearly betray her personality traits. She's extremely narcissistic and histrionic. You don't need to have a degree in psychiatry to see that.
I don’t think she has the histrionic part, I think she’s just straight narcissistic. She’s too calculated and persistent with specific things to be histrionic. She may appear histrionic in some of the videos (like the interrogation and initial bodycam) but I think that was because she was getting agitated that no one was believing her rather than being histrionic
Based upon what do you make these conclusions? Based upon having different lawyers? Because that’s irrational. You need actual information to make these decisions. The only information we have is that the lawyer refused to talk to her for almost a year. That’s unacceptable. If you were stuck in jail and your lawyer completely refused to talk to you for a year straight, you’d be writing letters, too. But, then your alter ego would be writing comments about how crazy you are.
@@Melthornal your past behavior predict your future behavior. I can't even imagine what Jorge Torres had to endure being in a relationship with her. I truly feel for his family and I hope they are able to get justice some time in the near future. I believe how she treated this last lawyer is indicitive of how she treats everyone in her life. Normally, she is able to say whatever she wants until it gets what she wants.
I agree, and feel the same about her ex-husband. What he said in the police cam video was telling and indicates that it was sarah, NOT Jorge, who was the main abuser. I don't think Jorge was equipped to handle her as well as her ex-husband, who seems like a kind man. He was fully supporting her --she didn't work and lived off alimony -- and there was a reason she called him before she dialed 911....
I saw Jorge's sister was in a comment section shortly after she was arrested. She said she really wanted this to go to court and get some justice for her brother. Sad his family is continuing to have to deal with this woman's self-righteous, unremorseful antics.

Yeah, agree with the sentiment that she is not coming across as a DV victim whatsoever, and I think these could be used as evidence of how FORCEFUL, SPITEFUL, and VITRIOLIC she is and to me that is in line with her behavior that got her in this situation to begin with. In my opinion, she dwells on EVERY slight, real or not, and would to me ABSOLUTELY use that to punish those that have slighted her.
I believe she is to blame also for other prior attys on her case having to conflict off due to the fact she had prior offenses with George, underlying causes of their having to remove themselves due to conflicts that would not be if she was not involved in domestic cases with George.
@@Mataylor17 The problem is this. Sarah “ Needs” an attorney to represent her because she’s smart enough to know that if she represents herself she’s going to lose. However she also wants complete control over her case & the understanding & comfort that the attorney is “ Her Case” their undivided attention. The reality though is it’ll never happen as she’s incarcerated. It’s simply not possible.
And now the 7th attorney, Winston Hobson has filed a motion to withdraw citing irreconcilable differences including, but not limited to, ethical considerations. I have no words 😂😂
And 8 lawyers later, Ms. Cashmen filed for withdrawal and she can’t even argue that this lawyer ignored her for days and never spoke to her, etc etc. she deposed 2 witnesses, always spoke to Sarah, even at the cost of her OWN pocket! And she did a helluva lot more in a smaller amount of time than the previous lawyers. This was the best lawyer she could have had but she chose to disrespect her instead simply to continue delaying and preventing a trial from happening. Now the judge has decided that she’s more than likely not getting a 9th lawyer and that she will have to represent herself. Sarah is completely effed beyond imagining, lmao.
This woman laughed at her partner while he was locked in a suitcase begging to get out because he couldn’t breathe. Have you any idea how he felt as his life was slowly ebbing away in that tiny, locked box? Slow suffocation like that is very painful. He would have been aware that his organs were shutting down one by one and his brain would have been making his body “fight” against his looming death. His anxiety would have been extremely heightened. He would have known he was dying during every second. That, is evil. Most people have a deep fear of being buried alive. In times gone by, there were sometimes bells put inside coffins in case of premature burials. What she did to this man was unconscionable. She deserves everything she gets. She should be told that this, is the last time that she can play this game and that if she can’t get along with this new lawyer, then she is going to have to represent herself. I have no sympathy for this woman. It’s time that she started paying the price that society requires for what she did; Murder by slow and agonizing torture.
His death must have been absolute torture. In addition to not being able to breathe, I can only imagine the pain of being in the same cramped position for hours. His muscles must have been cramping, and the anxiety. I can't believe how disrespectful she is towards the judge, as if this is going to help her
I just imagine all of the attorneys in her jurisdiction cowering under their desks, waiting for their names to be called to represent Sarah Boone. I don't blame them. If I was them, I might just move one county away to eliminate the risk.
Watching your replay. You are the first creator to read these letters that I know of. Thank you for giving us a complete analysis of this narcissist mindset Much respect
She’s trying her own case through these letters. Further proving her impatience and aggression through her very own words. In reality, they gave her the rope she’ll hang herself with…she’s exactly where she belongs. Stuck in jail, while her mind continues on its loop of self righteousness
The Judge's demennor and message were great. He clearly knows what's going on, and that Sarah's expectations are less than an accurrate representation of the situation.
She thinks she can bully her way out of the inevitable consequences. Three of six lawyers quit because of irreconcilable differences and she could have waived the conflict of interest on the other three but she just kept saying no. It's 100% her fault that she's in this position but she wants to blame everyone else.
I appreciate your attempts to be even-handed but without hearing from one of the six attorneys there is no way to know if what she's saying is true. I don't understand why the judge has taken this long to put her on notice as he did in this last hearing. The other thing that occurs to me is, this is what she's like when she's sober.
I think the PD office needs to sue over defamation of character. The court has codes of conduct and expected behavior. Shes the type to laugh at a man while hes dying, and claim she was abused.
Exactly. I spent some time in jail and no hardly ever does any court appointed attorney communicate with any client until court date where they then advise them to take a plea deal.
Peter, your awesome. All the little phrases you say crack me up. I think the phrase is “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar” 😊. I always look forward to your videos. I also love Papa George ❤. Have a great weekend with your lovely family.
I have stated this from the very beginning. She knows exactly what she is doing. If she stays in the local jail she can still see her son and ex-husband fairly regularly. She is fooling no one.
I somewhat agree with you. I also believe she's incapable of understanding the reality of the inevitable. Charged with second-degree capital m. I think she has this mindset of - time served after what's gonna be a failed attempt to portray as this battered woman. They were two drunks who beat each other. The outcome of their relationship became, as his family feared, his inevitable demise.
It’s not HER CASE, it’s the governments case AGAINST her. Judge “ I don’t need a response from you”. You know that she couldn’t stand that , and of corse had to try and say something . I almost wished he would’ve let her spout off at the mouth. He actually did her a favor but NOT letting her speak
Oh yeah, definitely did her a favor with that , but u know she doesn't see it that way at all. Does she understand that he ultimately will decide how long she stays in there? I would not be so disrespectful to him, just shows that she hasn't learned a thing & still has yet to show any remorse at all.
I saw the video when she was in court and her attorney was given leave to no longer represent her , when she left the court she was smirking as I think she secretly wants this case to drag on for as long as possible because once she is sentenced she will lose any power she thinks she may have .
Spot on…although, I get the feeling that it’s “attention” rather than “power.” She likes to play the distressed damsel, but forgets to be “quiet and demure…” (smh my head)
She talks like once this inconvenience of a trial is over, she's going home. Does she not realize her chances of acquittal are smaller than the space she left Jorge to suffocate in??
Thank you Peter! You always approach these videos with respect, a bit of humor, common sense and of course your knowledge of law. You are a great man with integrity.
Cant wait to hear all about how everything is the lawyers fault and how it is "absolutely not okay". Seeing and hearing people believe a proven liar and a manipulator and talk bad about an attorney who's side was never said is always hilarious to me.

Right?!? I swear I thought I was the only one. I really hope he changes his tune about it being the lawyers fault. We are only getting her side through letters that come off as entitled and smug. Based on the interrogation video, she thinks far too highly of herself.
Lori Daybell was arrested 4 days before her for 3 murders and her trial is over. Every comment on here saying stuff like you are is only going to help her win an appeal or plea to involuntary manslaughter like I did.
@justmissjamey Isn't it funny how faceless people insult strangers I mean she's not a likable person but the justice system is really walking a thin line here and these cases that get tried in the media- they are all going to get thrown out eventually due to the fact there is no way to get a fair trial anymore.

When I heard the judge lecture Boone, it made me angry!! I was in a position where I had a court appointed attorney to represent me in an appeal. The lawyer missed all of our appointments, and submitted briefs in my name without even discussing them with me. When I brought a motion to the court to ask for new counsel, this lawyer told the judge that I had raised my voice to his receptionist, implying I was a difficult and rude person. This was complete hearsay and not true. It was the receptionist who started yelling at me when I told her I intended to try and fire the lawyer. The judge did grant my motion, and appoint me new counsel, but then proceeeded to give me a 20 minute lecture on "raising my voice." It was condescending and humiliating and totally uncalled for since the receptionist was not even in the courtroom and I was not given any opportunity to rebut the accusation.
I don't underssnd why any of the rest of the story where any of the attorneys go is on the record? The Judge pulls a name out of hat, the attorney doesn't do something(s) and letters reach the Judge, then that attorney is excused (goes Poof) and in comes the next name out of the hat. Didn't this last one actually have a couple of professional integrity strikes going in? I would have thought with all Sara provided the Judge, and his own ability to learn of past wrongs, the Judge would have needed to ask the attorney something! All of Sara's letters are part of the record, but figuring out fact from fiction remains. And that does a disservice to each of the attorneys and the Judge who keeps picking them. Too much is left in limbo.
She has said everything she needs to say in every letter she has ever said, so the judge is fully aware of what she wants to say, and has answered it before she has need to speak. The next person she speaks to needs to be her new lawyer, and hopefully this time more respectful

She is so unaware that she is the cause of this current situation she is in it is mind blowing. To me every letter she has written shows her manipulative personality and helps to prove she was not a battered spouse. She was the one inflicting the abuse. I truly believe he would not defend her with the “truth” she believes which is most likely not provable. She tanked her case trying to talk her way out of it again believing she is way smarter than she is. But narcissists usually play victim when the veil is lifted.

Yeah. So she's done this before.

@@16BitDungeonWell when there's nothing new and your client calls your office and your cell phone 75 times a day, leaves messages so long the recording times out, and writes you a 10 page letter every single day....

We can tell she’s narcissistic from her police interview.
@@Melthornal your past behavior predict your future behavior. If I was in prison, I sure as hell wouldn't be writing letters accusatory towards a judge. Also I have a histrionic mother, diagnosed. And I can see so many similarities.
@@Melthornal??? Her lawyer not talking to her for a year isn't a fact it's an accusation on her part and it's certainly not the only information we have about her behavior! If they are able to provide her with needed information, why slam the door in their face? She doesn't have to make any statement to them. She could, however, have enough contact with them to find out information that they found. Maybe it's just me, but if an outside source provided needed information, I wouldn't discredit them and kick them to the curb.
Honestly, her attitude seems indicative of someone who would purposely trapped another in a suitcase

Her second attorney that did all the initial work was not a PD, he was a hired att and he left due to irreconcilable differences…
She also owed him money that she didn't pay....

Exactly. She’s showing her true colors. She’s hanging herself, as you say. She deserves the DP. Whatever punishment she gets won’t be enough.

It was condescending and humiliating and totally uncalled for since the receptionist was not even in the courtroom and I was not given any opportunity to rebut the accusation.
I would have liked to see the judge turn up the heat on the attorney and communication issues before releasing him
I don't underssnd why any of the rest of the story where any of the attorneys go is on the record?
In what WORLD would you ever think it’s a good idea to be snarky & condescending to the actual Judge when you’re on trial for freaking MURDER?!! She is unbelievable. And it’s not like she was arguing with him in person and let an insult slip out in anger in the heat of the moment - it’s in a handwritten letter! 😅 Plenty of time to change your mind & start over. But nope, she thinks all the attorneys and the Judge are screw-ups and she’s the one that needs to fix their mistakes. Sorry but if you’re on your 7th attorney, the problem is in the mirror. 🤦🏻♀️
What's the logo on the coffee cup that Peter has a problem with? I can't see it.
...her smirk as she walked away shows she's not done...
I would hate if she got away with murder just because she wrote dozen of letters. I mean, imagine what message we sending to all the criminals if that was the case!
Look back on these letters and her police interrogation, you'll see Sarah absolutely believes she understands the law fully and that 'I didn't do it intentionally' is a legal defense. She never expected to be arrested and now that she's in jail she's waiting for a lawyer that will understand the law like she does so the case can be dismissed and she can go free.
She 100% believes she's not guilty and a jury will 100% give her that verdict if she can just get up on the stand and explain everything.
