That is the Rev that says Skull in the beginning. He died before this album was completed. He did most of the demos and they were doing the video for Nightmare when he died. You need to do songs from when the Rev was alive. Beast and the Harlot, Afterlife, Gunslinger, Almost easy and the whole live in LBC concert. The Rev also wrote a lot of this song.
I listen to A7X many hours every week and have listened to them for almost 10 years. They are the most amazing band since discovered Metallica 1995. Most people suggest their most mainstream songs but the real gems lay deeper. Some favorites are, Until the end, Crossroads, Unbound, Tonight the world dies, Remenissions, Doing time, Paradigm, Higher.
Listen to each song several times they get even better. I have been listening to nothing but them for about 6 months now. By far the best band of the 21st century. Maybe ever
They are there i would say for at least 15 years... if u listen to all the albums in a chronological way , u will feel their evolution ...almost like a story
This is why I love watching reaction videos. It’s my way of going through that journey, over & over. Great reaction. I recommend Buried Alive, & MIA. Also, Beast & the Harlot, Afterlife, or Bat Country from their Live at the LBC.
Its' so fun, that you have begun with their newer songs - I hope you will eventually 'travel' back and listen to some of their older stuff. Avenged Sevenfold are a bunch of amazing guys, and they have an amazing history. Welcome aboard, you are in for an amazing journey with them and us fans :)
Gates at his finest is probably Buried Alive and MIA - not that every song ain't a killer but the opening minute and a half of Buried Alive is the guitarists version of an orgasm lol
I recommend Bat country (not the music video, the song is cut about a minute short), chapter four, and a little piece of heaven. Definitely 3 of My favorite songs of theirs when they had the rev on drums. And if you really wanna go back and hear how they’ve evolved, Turn the Other Way, or The Art Of Subconscious Illusion from their first album are really sick too. Waaaay heavier
@@wolfsforeveralways They didn't really come into their own until COE. Waking the Fallen was all over the place, like within the songs they'd switch influences for one part, then go back, then switch again. Later, they'd of course issue an album with a different overall influence and there'd be a consistent feel from track to track. And on WTF there's a lot of high pitched screaming alternating with a different kind of so-cal punk voice that doesn't even sound like Shadows. I can't think of another guy who sings radically differently on every single album, not just as he aged. It's just such an incredibly weird band. Freakishly talented but utterly baffling in how they operate. Now they've totally abandoned everything they ever were with Life is But a Dream.
You are reacting to their most softer songs or ballads from them. For knowing more about this band I recommend you songs like " beast and the harlot", "Bat country" and "afterlife". I recommend you to do these songs from " live in the LBC", their best live performance in my opinion.
@@666Metalholic Save me is in my top 3 avenged sevenfold songs. Ive said that this kind of songs are softer than other that avenged sevenfold have. You cant deny that, im not saying that are bad songs. I love exist, acid rain, Save me, victim, dear god, roman sky, MIA...
I personally think his rock am ring performance in 2013 was the best. Vocals were more strong and screams sounded better. Idk I might be biased cause they had more songs to play from different albums in that show haha
Here is the live in the LBC concert: ruclips.net/video/_I6Mzd3lChI/видео.html. In the description you will find the setlist so you can choose What song you want to hear.
My all time favourite song ever, it's just epic! Worth checking out Dead By April if you haven't already, "As A Butterfly" is a superb song and very sad, I recommend the lyric version of youtube video ruclips.net/video/yfgGBpV0ARk/видео.html
One of the best songs from one of their best albums and IMO one of the best metal albums ever
This song is the band’s grieving the loss of their drummer & their best friend The Rev who died very young...

Arguably one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. It's absolutely beautiful.

Thank you!! I tell this to people all the time
I totally agree ... :) I've been a fan for over 10 years as well and 95% of all the music I listen to, is Avenged Sevenfold
Your reaction is pure joy and it makes me happy to see someone appreciate A7X so much
They have saved me a lot and I’m happy others love them too
Definitely one of the best metal bands I have ever heard.
This guy reminds me of Sully from Godsmack. It's like watching the lead of one of my favorite bands appreciating one of my other favorites lol
Need to check out Crossroads, Buried Alive, Coming Home, and Victim by Avenged Sevenfold
Listen to each song several times they get even better. I have been listening to nothing but them for about 6 months now. By far the best band of the 21st century. Maybe ever

This song reminds me of my past, it's too beautiful. And probably my favorite song ever!
React to Buried Alive by them.
Their own stairway to heaven :)
Fyi the drummer on this album was mike portnoy
Such a greatest drummer ever
Yes......that guy has nailed everywhere from majesty to DT to Avenged sevenfold to winery dogs to sons of Apollo ....g3 and many more.....
But the drums were writed by the Rev and played on the demo that guides Portnoy to record the song

You have a new sub. Great reaction man! Avenged is amazing!
R.I.P the rev ❤️
Buried alive, shehard of fire, so far away , afterlife....and so on 👍
I have a full playlist of A7X
strength of the world and MIA !

Buried alive for sure man
Gates at his finest is probably Buried Alive and MIA - not that every song ain't a killer but the opening minute and a half of Buried Alive is the guitarists version of an orgasm lol
No one has done and all things will end
Ever. It's such a good song.
The guitar solo at the end was my fav bit lol felt like their batteries were dying😁😂😍
Easily one of their most underrated songs
Check out Scream Live at the LBC!!!!
I recommend Bat country (not the music video, the song is cut about a minute short), chapter four, and a little piece of heaven. Definitely 3 of My favorite songs of theirs when they had the rev on drums.

I would love a react for Art of Subconscious Illusion.
Nobody really goes back past City of Evil. STST & WTF had some killer songs.

u should react their live in lbc, trust me u will like it
Live in lbc beast and the harlot by avenged sevenfold
Alex i listen Avenged from the start. When you told this band can play with emotion thats right. Try Coming home friend!
You are reacting to their most softer songs or ballads from them. For knowing more about this band I recommend you songs like " beast and the harlot", "Bat country" and "afterlife". I recommend you to do these songs from " live in the LBC", their best live performance in my opinion.
If you think Save Me isn't heavy then you need to take a music theory class. Save Me is the best song in the Nightmare album. Artistically and heavy!

I recommend any song from the LBC live album or the song fiction from the “Nightmare” album
