I have a few solos I love - Second Heartbeat from Waking The Fallen, Afterlife from Avenged Sevenfold, Dancing Dead and Set Me Free from Diamonds In The Rough, Higher and Exist from The Stage. There’s too many to be honest but Second Heartbeat is my favourite song ever from them. This band is my life 🖤🤟🏼

Synyster Gates is one of the greatest man. The guy can speak with his guitar. I can't pick a favorite solo but the guitar work on The Stage album is legendary!

This is easily their best album. Hail to the king is my favorite a7x song, really fun to play on guitar. Search for "hail to the king ragnar" on RUclips. It's a tribute to Ragnar with this song in the background.

Not long after I discovered them they went on tour with Metallica and I just couldn’t make it for it. The only time I missed Metallica when they came anywhere near me since the 80s. Still regret not being able to go. I’d loved to have seen them together!
They all have great solos but my favorite one is definitely from Coming Home from the HTTK album.

I always call this their tribute album-their tribute to all the metal and hard rock that has paved the way before them :) their influences are extremely diverse (you don't here any Mr Bungle or Oingo Boingo on this album 😂) but you can really feel the core of where they come from on this. It's such solid fucking rock -perfect for road trips, air guitar and annoying your neighbours 😂

There are many great guitar solo's/ riffs done by Synyster Gates but I would say if I had to pick one " Roman Sky " only because of the violins and choir in the song gave it more feeling in the heart ... I forgot "Dancing Dead is also great riff near end of song .. so cool .

This album was written to be more groove oriented. They didn't want to come in hot with fast double bass or crazy drum fills. Just groove metal, like 90s Metallica. That was their intention. Hard to choose favorite solo by them, but if I had to choose, MIA and Save Me. Alex, Avenged Sevenfold has been my favorite band for 20 years. If there are 2 songs I would choose you react to, I'd say the song Remenissions. Its from their 2nd album from 2003. Take it back old school 😜 Then I'd say you would definitely love the song Sidewinder from their City of Evil album.
That solo was pretty nasty.
This album is basically "Metallica style", so why you like it alot. But for me who just a boy, i like prog style like the stage album more.

Yeah I love this album also it didn't get the respect it deserved I have no idea why ..May be because it's a more cleaner album cleaned up a bit more but yeah still some you haven't heard on this album that are great songs also Alex . Hail to the King " a great album Shepherd of fire,, Crimson Day is a good one also but more softer ... Glad you loved it . So many others thank you for fitting A7X in today :) Like I said A7X , Metallica ruins the rest of music for me except for a few bands out there like "Five Finger death Punch " , and some of the music/ songs that Corey does with his music but again that's just me !
