Kai Henrik Well i don’t because i started listening to them cause of that album, it’s a masterpiece.
The only album i don’t like is Sounding of the Seventh trumpet. It’s a little too much imo. I do like Warmness on the Soul and To end the Rapture.
This song is awsome. Nice reaction Alex! The lyrics and the music is for me a masterpiece. The voice of M.Shadows, with vulnerability and emotions, combined with that dark and deep meanings puts an extra spice in top of a wonderful melodic experience.

This song is from their 3rd album City of Evil, released in 2005. It was released by Warner Brothers. This song is about the post-September 11th, 2001 deployment of US troops to Iraq and the traumas that they encountered in the Iraq War. Many came home with horrible psychological and emotional scars that may not have healed to this day and didn't know how to adapt to civilian life again after taking the lives of innocents. M.I.A. (Missing in Action) is the last song on the album, and City of Evil is so far the band's best-selling. The drummer on this album was James "The Rev" Sullivan, one of the founders of the band, and this is the first song you've reacted to with him on it. It's great to see you getting around to the band's classic era.
This is my favorite song by Avenged Sevenfold and my favorite song of all time. Thank you so much for reacting to it.
This is the only band that has a place in my heart, and i don’t know why. I love all their songs, literally everyone. There’s such a deep meaning behind the lyric, it’s insane. This band is a gem, believe me.

For the live recommendations i know you said you had some songs written down already, but at the moment i’m loving their Buried Alive live at Rock Am Ring in 2018. And apart from that the whole Live in the LBC is great too. I suggest you to react to the LBC in the order it is in. You’ll get a feel for the concert and just see how amazing they’re live, but the thing is you can’t stop watching their concert;)

I'm so glad that you have recently discovered these guys, I have been listening to them for at least 13 years now, their music played a big role in my teen years and will always be precious to me. They have so many tracks that I would consider masterpieces. So much emotion and creativity with killer tones and a killer voice.

The best could be "Live in the LBC (2008) " and "Rock am ring (2011) "
sadly they get lot of hate, but it's hater's lose. this band is fantastic.
Also, check this song live but from 2005, there's a video, quality not so good because is not in their official channel but it's an awesome version with The Rev doing vocals, it adds so much to the song. The live version without the rev is not the same

For a different feel from them, you should do A Little Piece of Heaven. Make sure when u do it realize The Rev wrote it as a fun, theatrical song along the lines of stuff from Nightmare Before Christmas. Some reactors try and take the song seriously. Once again, loved this band forever and you can't beat Matt's voice.

Thank you so much for react to this song, this is my favorite song because the lyrics and the atmosphere of the instrumental, this put you in the battlefield and touch the sentimental (that song belong to the album city of evil, the thirty studio album). Melechesh - Multiple truths next pls ! Its a rare hidden gem that sets a high standard for the very band that created it. It's a very tasty and fascinating mix between beautifull melodic lines and mystic a thmosphere and sick heavy riffage. The thematic and lyrics are at least as fascinating and they quite well balance the message with the instrumentation. There are definitely black and death metal influences but that's doesn't really tells you a lot about their sound. Can't wait to see you reaction !

Most overrated band. Vocals are horrible
they are not overrated, they have fantastic music. if you don't like the vocals that's ok, everyone has different taste in music.
Kai Henrik I tried real hard to get into them for years. Guitarists are excellent. Just those vocals kind of ruin it for me. I’m heavily into Gojira. Killer band
