Thanks for doing this bro! Fun fact. This album release was a surprise. They didn't do any advertising or anything. They just randomly announced they were doing a live stream on RUclips at midnight. That live stream was this video. At the end they announced there new album (The Stage) was available everywhere.
I don't think you gave Brooks on the drums enough credit... he's an absolutely incredible drummer and he played this live version of "The Stage" expertly, with no mistakes at all 👍🏻 phenomenal performance
I have their logo (Deathbat) tattooed on my arm from my wrist to elbow with foREVer under it. I got it on The Rev's Birthday a year ago as a in memory.
This song is not apart of the LBC concert. The Live in the LBC concert is back in 2009 when the Rev was still the drummer. You should check out more songs from this album like Higher, Creating God and Higher!
It's actually surprising that in 7-8 reactions, you haven't done a song with The Rev playing on it. These reactions have all been from the 3 most recent albums, which aren't usually considered their prime. They're great albums and Nightmare is actually my favorite, but Waking the Fallen, City of Evil, and Avenged Sevenfold are the fan favorites and the ones that built the band's fanbase. Liking these songs, I think you'd really love songs from those albums. M.I.A. is definitely the most common request. It's my favorite song and it will undoubtedly knock your socks off.
Great Reaction!! Synyster Gates, (Brian Haner) is an Amazing guitar player! His guitar speaks to me as well. They have a ton of Great songs. So far, you’ve listened to their more recent stuff. You will Love their older stuff, too. Beast & the Harlot, live at LBC, was my request. The original drummer, The Rev, is in that concert. He was an amazing musician, that passed away, way too soon.
Everyone is saying live in the LBC, which is one of their best performances, but I think m shadows in 2011 was where he was at his best .. rock am ring performance was amazing, especially god hates us .. still, can’t go wrong ..
Really though, very few of the songs live have the depth of the studio versions, though. He's gonna miss some extra parts. Harmonies, spoken words, ambient effects. They're extremely important. God Hates Us doesn't have many and the live performance would be great. These other songs would be somewhat wasted on the LBC show with the pitch correction and the extra layers missing. If someone has him doing Critical Acclaim or Second Heartbeat, he'll miss half the song.
@@chrismeadows4216 if you see live performances from 2008 you can see how Matt Shadows sings exactly the same than in the live in thw LBC. After seeing the lives in this year I dont know wich is better, M shadows in 2008 or in 2011...
@@marioperezgarcia7258 I feel 2008 and 2011 are definitely among the best years vocally, but Live in the LBC is somewhat of a waste for most songs. There's no reason the ALPOH or Seize the Day music videos shouldn't be his first experience with the songs, no reason he should have to miss the impact of the first YEAH of Gunslinger, no reason he should miss the rants in Critical Acclaim, no reason he should miss the other half of Second Heartbeat and all the backing vocals, no reason he shouldn't hear all the extra guitar tracks and drum fills in the studio versions of Beast and the Harlot and Bat Country. I understand these are exaggerations, but seriously, it seems like people want to give him incomplete versions. He could do Almost Easy or Afterlife or Scream or Unholy Confessions and not miss anything much, but I don't feel anything else is best for a first listen. They picked too much out of the songs. The Rock Am Ring 2011 show would be great in general, but for Beast and the Harlot and Bat Country, still not preferable. So much went into the production of the studio versions and they have more character. Nightmare songs from that year are generally great live, especially Buried Alive, Welcome to the Family, and God Hates Us. Unholy Confessions was outstanding in 2011. Afterlife was great. 2011 performances would generally be great. For the pre-Nightmare songs, the San Diego and Summer Sonic shows are great. Just not for Waking the Fallen songs. Warped Tour 2003 would be great for those. This probably seems ridiculous to care about, but it's weird to have someone react to a song and it's not the full song or the vocals are in a completely different register. Waking the Fallen songs should be growled because the growls are the focal point. City of Evil songs should be nasally and grunty because the nasality and gruntiness are the focal points. The Halloween show from the self-titled tour might be great for him. No one ever requests it because they're like "OOH DO THE DVD", but that show is amazing and there's other amazing pro-shots where the band legitimately sounds amazing without any studio editing and remixing whatsoever, and they're usually ignored because reactors do most of the songs already from the LBC performance. He could do the Halloween show from the HTTK era too. I wouldn't even mind some of the songs from the Download shows. The mixing is tolerable for a few of them. All of these options are fine in some ways, but I think everyone can agree 2014 is probably an avoidable year.
As much as I miss who Avenged Sevenfold was with The Rev, Brooks has really brought them back, you can just tell their whole demeanor has improved a ton since he joined. Even M.’s singing has improved drastically compared to when Arin was keeping the beat.
"Jesus Christ was born to die, leave it to man to levitate his own to idolize". one of my favorite quotes ever. egotistical humans. this entire album is an absolute masterpiece, may take a few listens to get more used to, but Fermi Paradox is one of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard definitely recommend reacting to that song in the future! great reactions man, love how you aren't afraid to show emotion when reacting
You should react to official music video, because when they live, There are some parts of guitar missing. Because there are only 2 guitars when they're live. But recorded many guitars in studio. If they brings at least 1 more guitar additional player, they'll sounds better when live.
He was definitely dealing with vocal issues in and around this time .. believe it was a blood clot in his throat.. anyway, if you want the best of avenged sevenfold, I say react to anything live from 2006-2014 .. 2011 in my opinion is when his voice was at its best
oh noo T-T who suggested this? the official video adds to this song sooo much and this live performance was one of their worst, super weak compared of what they are usually live.
I never get why people want live reactions, I mean live performances are nice and all, but they suck as a first reaction to the song, cause it's never performed as flawlessly as the official. Also this sing in particular has an amazing video.
without the oficial videoclip it loses a lot of sense. the video is 50% of the song. it's strange and most times i dont think it, but in this case that's the truth. also his voice here as othe people said was forced too much. there are some lives that well, are a bit cringy but he's an awesome singer, but forced himself too much
One of their best performance. The Stage is a epic song. Great message. You should here acid rain from same video
From live in the LBC I recommend for an start: Afterlife, Bat Country, Seize The day or Gunslinger
Don't the lbc copyrights people channels
This live performance of The Stage is perfect in my opinion, just beautiful! 😍
Thanks for doing this bro!

I need to find that live.
That guitar is ...no comment! Just wonderful
You should react more their live performances, especially from LBC.
Even after Matt had such voice problems he still killed it live!! 😍 Great reaction as usual!! Always love seeing some Avenged Sevenfold on RUclips 🤩👋🏼
Definitely need to give Brooks a bit more credit though 👌🏻 he owns those drums!!
I don't think you gave Brooks on the drums enough credit... he's an absolutely incredible drummer and he played this live version of "The Stage" expertly, with no mistakes at all 👍🏻 phenomenal performance
Avenged Sevenfold 😎
I have their logo (Deathbat) tattooed on my arm from my wrist to elbow with foREVer under it. I got it on The Rev's Birthday a year ago as a in memory.
Classic Sevenfold :) All their music is gold .. I second live LBC Afterlife

Well I know is not part of that concert that's why I said it in the video

Agreed! Do M.I.A.!!!
Nice video Alex! Roman Sky live from Grammy Museum is just something else from this band! It is the acoustic version, do check it out sometime!
Men i love this band 😎♥️
I love your reactions to A7x because you can tell you love the music. Please react to their song Sidewinder from City of Evil
You should react to LBC live. The best show I've ever seen.
Do Planets live from Hollywood plz! Epic performance
You'd love Syn's masterclasses. He can play everything from Gypsy Jazz to thrash and its all sublime

Only a few bands like that in the music today. They top them all.
Everyone is saying live in the LBC, which is one of their best performances, but I think m shadows in 2011 was where he was at his best .. rock am ring performance was amazing, especially god hates us .. still, can’t go wrong ..
The difference is the audio Quality... I agree with you

The 2006 debut of Seize the Day is also stronger than the LBC version and has a unique improvised solo.

LBC full concert by Avenged Sevenfold 😎🤘
i know u already react to acid rain but u should see live, trust me its better in live
Love the live version of the song.
You should react to Nightmare and Natural Born Killer from Avenged Sevenfold

Watch Victim bro!
heya , im new and i suggest you to react to trivium - what the dead men say ;)
Hello, welcome, I already did, you can find it on the channel
I never get why people want live reactions, I mean live performances are nice and all, but they suck as a first reaction to the song, cause it's never performed as flawlessly as the official.
