Love him or hate him. He's the biggest MMA star ever. Even Jon Jones said recently , he never thought an mma fighter could afford a lamborghini yacht (he said ferrari, but it's lamborghini, actually 😅).
Khabib is a mma mayweather but conor is like pacman we don't care about that record we love the real fighter pacman and conor. Therestyle is different and beutiful
Something to note...several of the later fights they highlighted he actually lost. Like him or hate him he sales tickets. The dude is entertaining. After a 15 fight win streak he lost to Nate Diaz then followed up a few months later with a win over him and Eddie Alvarez for the Lightweight title. He lost that to Khabib who retired shortly after. Connor came back after that loss and defeated Donald Cerrone then lost twice to Dustin Poirier with the second being due to the fact he broke his leg. (Counted as a TKO) If you found these interesting you should check out some of the full fights and not just highlights.
It was a blessing and a curse that Conor got so famous and rich. A blessing for him obviously haha...but a curse that once that Mayweather fight happened he was never the same fighter he was before it. He wasn't as hungry, motivated or dedicated to the sport. I truly believe that had he not done that he would have been able to probably be the only man that could have beaten Khabib, although had he not been submitted, even if he won rds 4 and 5 by 10-9 it would have been a draw. But with how well he was doing against Khabib in defending the takedowns, defending more than half of them. And the scoring criteria back then favoring control time heavily, even without doing anything with it. I'm not saying Conor would have beaten Khabib had he been just as dedicated, motivated and driven as he was before he blew up into superstardom...but to deny that it had no effect on Conor's ability as an MMA fighter is just denying something that isn't true. Not a massive fan of Conor either, I'm a much bigger fan of Islam/Khabib and all those guys as well.
A stand up actual fight and McGregor destroys khabib only way khabib could and did is by wrestling he had to wrestle and win cause he can't actually toe to toe fight it's very simple

the funfact is,when Conor was hungry and young.....nobody could outbox him. Nate is a boxingbag, with stamina, lol
