Power metal band with members from Finland, Greece, and Hungary formed in 2015. Lead singer is Yannis Papadopoulos. Yes he gets up there. A few years ago he did a vocal cover of Nightwish's Ghost Love Score. They were just here in the USA last May, opening for Nightwish.
The singer did a cover of ghost love score, and nailed it ...not to many guys can do that
The main composer of this band used to be before in the band called Battle Beast. He was kicked out of his own band and then started Beast in Black. I would recommend checking out Battle Beast too. Yes,Miss Noora Louhimo is vocalist of Battle Beast and she really rocks....Her voice some times makes me think that she must be Janis Joplin reincarnation.

Like many have already commented, the founder of this band, Anton Kabanen, used to have another metal band called "Battle Beast", but was kicked out of that band. I saw them last month opening a Nightwish show in Santiago de Chile. They are amazing on stage. They reminded me Judas Priest.

They're also great live, so that's one of the reasons they toured with Nightwish together in Usa this year.
I knew it wouldn't be long till you guys got to this 😁 SO much great music, artists and bands out in the world that I never knew about here in S. Florida U.S.A.!!! I love this song because it has this old school 80's metal vibe to it, especially lead singer Yannis Papadopoulos' Judas Priest-like high screams (or Rob Halford actually). Musically reminds me of a mash between Maiden, Meatloaf, Europe and Priest 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 Yannis' falsetto always catches everyone by surprise but I grew up w/ Prince so yeah lol. Beast in Black is touring w/ Nightwish! Did you know singer Yannis (who is Greek, though the band is Finnish) did a cover of "Ghost Love Score" on his RUclips channel??? I saw them in San Francisco opening for Nightwish last May. So you missed them while they were in the US. They will hopefully be back with their own tour.
I was there as well. I thought their mix was horrible especially when all the instruments and multiple voices were going through the speakers.
@@cooperc4060 the Warfield's sound system was a little too bass heavy for my liking. At times I felt Floor's vocals were drowned out. Still good though.
First time for me at the Warfield. Interesting place. The history of building is incredible.

They have 3 cd's out and i didn't find a bad song. And that's rare. Do you understand why Nightwish have them as a warm up band for their tour. Check up more videos with them. And .... you must hear Noora's voice in Battle Beast (Antons old band) It's the same with them .... great guitars and songs.

You should listen to (Moonlight Rendezvous) by them. They are really good Live.

If I remember correctly, Beast in Black toured with Nightwish on a North American tour this spring. Many saw BIB for the first time on this tour and the audience was positively surprised😄❤️😊
Beast in Black is another great metal band from Finland. Singer Yannis is from Greece, but have live in Finland several years. They was opening act for Nightwish their this year North America and South America tours. They are also Nightwish opening act their upcoming European tour.

This band as well Battle Beast both were founded by Anton Kabanen who also composed first 2 albums of Battle Beast before disagreements caused him to leave. Both band names as well several of their songs are based on manga and anime Berserk and imho their best songs are the ones referencing Berserk. That said, their last album was cyberpunk inspired and had songs based on anime like Ghost In The Shell, Armitage III, and sci-fi movies like Blade Runner and is using a bit more prominently the synths they often use to recreate 80s vibes to the point in this album some songs have parts that sound like dark synth. Fun nonetheless
every song from Beast in Black is Great !! live show is a Blast !! and every cover Yannis recorded is even better !!!

In less than a week I will see Beast in Black supporting Nightwish, I am getting very excited for what should be an amazing night, Beast in Black are a great band live, the first time I heard Yannis was a vocal cover of Floors version of GLS and boy is his range amazing

Beast in Black and the tree albums they have so far are great ! theres no song you can skip, Yannys youtube channel make every song cover even better, and the Live Show with Nightwish is a Blast !! so Funny and Powerfull !!!!!
Yannis has quite a voice - he even dares to make a cover of NW Gosht Love Score.

Europe Power Glam Metal, and Yannis Voice is for sure something easy to listen:) They toured with Nightwish in south America recently if i remember right. They are also an great live gig.

Dude has a voice. This is a good band, but I don't think this is their best song, to me Into the Heart of Darkness, We Will Fight, and Ironhand have better lyrics. Stay safe, God bless, and keep rocking.
Wrong band.... Ironhand was written by Anton Kabanen when he was in Battle Beast

I was listening to Battle beast for years but this vid and comments are about Kabanens latest band not the previous one and you said and i quote "i don't think this is their best song " and you suggested 3 songs including Ironhand which ARE NOT Beast In Black songs. What part you don't get?
