Love how your channel has grown n you’ve got a great presence!! Keep up the great work!! Best sharpener yet. I really like jus an old fashioned sharpening block but this one makes life so much easier!!👍
Note on sharpeners like these: Pretty nice, gives decent edges with barely any effort, skill, and time. Generally whetstones can give better edges but these are good for people who aren’t very skilled or don't want to buy a bunch of whetstones. However it takes a few sharpens to actually grind down the edge to the angle of the sharpener depending on the knife you have. Still good sharpeners
Buy one and just take the time to sit down and work on each knife for like 15 min. Watch a movie. Afterward you only need a little bit of sharpening each time for maintenance. It’s totally worth it.
Agree. This is a sharpener. Not a shaper. If your blade has been neglected and is seriously worn down or has nicks, you need to shape it first. That is different. Sharpening is the last step. ✅
I had neglected to learn how to sharpen my knives for far too long. I finally bought some whetstones and spent some time reading up on how to use them. I started on my crappy knives because I didn’t care if I ruined them, then finally got comfortable enough to sharpen my good blades. It would have been nice to have a set like this when I was a novice, as it looks much less intimidating than chunks of stone. But I guess I’m glad I learned the harder way.
Omg I NEED this!!! I can’t sharpen my knives for nothing and it drives me insane because I LIVE in the kitchen and to have to wait for my husband drives me nuts and half the time he dont do it right either!! It takes me about a half hour to get my knife right and thats only one!!😂
I just found your channel as well as your short clip videos (saying I found your shorts was awkward...) I've learned a lot from watching you. Thank you for making videos and sharing your knowledge.
i luv beautiful knives. i saw a youtube vid on the business insider channel and they showed how knives r made by master experts that cost $1K or more for 1 and the technique is just awesome.
What are your thoughts on the Horl 2 Cruise ($90 as of now)? Trying to decide between that one and the original you reviewed. I have both a Japanese and western-style knife for added context.
If it’s the first time with a shitty dull knife. It’s gonna take like 15 min. Just get it out of the way and in the future you’ll only need a bit each time to keep it sharp.
This is how i sharpen my knives at home and use it twice a week! :)
Where did you get the knife?
He says in the video, "the link is in the description". @@XXTacoBellLovaXX
@@marsbeads it’s not there, only the sharpner
My bad, from the video, at 0:17, it looks like one of the knives is Kramer Zwilling Meiji and the other is a Zwilling Miyabi 400FC@@XXTacoBellLovaXX
how long can they last twice a week

Gold! So glad I found your channel. New subscriber
where do you buy a replacement Disks?????????
Can you tell us what knives you have?
How do you tell that the diamond disc has done it's job? Do you feel for a burr before you use the same diamond disc on the other side of the knife?
