I love the way you don't really care if something works or not. You have a good time doing what you do and that makes your video very entertaining. As soon as I see a new review from you I jump right on it because I know I'll get a good smile and an occasional LOL out of it while being educated on the subject. For example, when you whipped the camera around for a shot the drone resting in the pouch strapped to your waist. That just cracked me up, like a old west gun slinger proud of his iron.
With the inner ring set to 2.0 meters, it doesn't matter if you have near-ground flight set or not since you TOLD the drone to stay at 2.0 meters. Try setting the inner ring to 1.0 or 1.5 meters if you want it lower.
Hi Henrik 👋😀👍💯. Impressive. A fantastic performance. Lol, I could feel your worries as you went through the course. Some close calls. 😅 DJI never lets you down mostly. A great video my friend. Thank you so very much for sharing this video and God bless 🙏.
I really like your videos. In another video, I saw that you attached a microphone to your drone. Since I enjoy recording agricultural machinery, such as combine harvesters (which are very loud), I’m curious to know if a microphone would be useful in this case, or if the drone is still too loud. Greetings from Germany!
Im certain you are having difficulty with it following you as you keep turning round to look at it, the drone, if following from behind wont be able to cope if you keep turning around and facing it.
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA I've had it follow my at quite a speed through the woods whilst out on mountain bike etc with no issues. I do a lot of filming where it involves woodland and people either running or biking, I usually go with my #mavic3pro but borrowed the #air3s to give it a try.
Thanks for the test performance. What would happend if you press the RTH button after a long run in active track mode. Where is "home" for the drone when you're already 3 km away from your starting point?
I still don't understand how people who theoretically "fly drones for years" ALWAYS make the SAME MISTAKE: they stand still waiting to see what the drone does. If the subject does not move, the drone WILL NOT ADVANCE, it will wait to see what the subject does. What do you expect the drone to do, to advance without reason? IT'S PURE LOGIC. I don't understand what you expect the drone to do by standing still on the other side of the hole without moving forward. On the other hand, why buy an expensive drone with sensors everywhere if you are going to turn around every moment to see if it is coming, you would ruin all the recordings. It is impossible to understand the attitude of some "content creators", I don't know how companies give them their equipment, maybe it's a laugh, greetings.
Please do this test again when you were setting your drones minimum height you said it to 2 m that’s 6 feet high so the drone couldn’t get underneath that tree where you thought it could not. I think it can. Don’t set the minimum height at 2 m that’s higher than the branch you were trying to pass under.
Stopping to look at the drone will not make the drone keep following you have to keep walking. Stopping to see what it's going to do is going to confuse it
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA In ActiveTrack mode the drone automatically bypass obstacles. Even if the Drone was originaly set to brake mode. So this would not affect the performance of the drone and test.
It's actually very good quality tracking. The problem is that this drone is designed to do wide open cinematic filming and the tracking is programmed to assist that kind of environment. It's not really designed to fly into dense forest. If you need a drone specifically for that, buy one that is designed for that.

Why do you select brake rather than by pass?
I should properly have chosen pass - I will do it again next time I'm down there
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA I often wonder why no one ever tries nifty mode when doing these tests.
I will when I repeat
thats why if stopped should have been bypass
I’ll try again, really not a biggie
I absolutely love that's you're a kid at heart. Fun to watch.

Always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you very much.
You had it on brake.
You are right - I have to admit it was done in a hurry

Yes, it’s not useful to attach it on the drone
You selected brake not to fly round
Yes, my bad
Im certain you are having difficulty with it following you as you keep turning round to look at it, the drone, if following from behind wont be able to cope if you keep turning around and facing it.
I’ll try with bypass next time

I also got a Air 3S. I Should be receiving it soon.
I ordered one on Saturday. Let's keep our fingers cross they don't get stuck in U.S. Customs.
ill wait for your videos on bypass 😊
You will get that :-)
Thanks for the test performance. What would happend if you press the RTH button after a long run in active track mode. Where is "home" for the drone when you're already 3 km away from your starting point?
home is where the home point is recorded...
For tracking HOVERAIR X1/PRO/MAX is the best!
I don’t have it
The drone refused to follow you in there. You're saying the Drone is smarter than the Dane?😉
Can you not set it on APAS where it goes around the obstacles?
Saludos 😎😎
Well, I will not spend $1800 US for that I’m might as well stick with my mini 4 pro . just same as Dji air 3s , only thing is the camera upgrade 😅
I think it will be better if I use pass
he had it on brake not bypass
Maybe 🤔
Henrik, kan man bruger nogle de controller man har f eks fra mini4pro og Air2S ?
Ja, den fra mini 4 pro kan du bruge
Is there any difference in tracking of air3 and 3S
Seem worse but I think I should have used pass instead- I’ll try that

Well feel free to make your own videos to rectify the errors of us imperfect content creators

Try again
Yes I will and I need to put in pass too
for this task, DJI Neo is very good, so I did not upgrade Air 3, I bought DJI Neo😃😃
Er...beginner (incredibly given you're a drone "expert") error, you need to choose BYPASS not BRAKE !
I’m no expert - I just make videos about drones ;-)
The Neo is way better in so thigh conditions 😁

Obstacle avoidance wasn't impressive in this test. Mabe it will get better when you set on bypass next time. 😜
Yes I try that (it actually as mistake I did not switch it)
@@TECHDRONEMEDIAmaybe you should also try nifty mode on bypass so that the drone can actually pass through small gaps.
Good plan

Your setting is wrong. It should not stop when it encounters obstacles.
You are right 👍
First comment 😁
Did you buy this Air3S or did DJI send this to you for free 🤔
Sponsored, as I said within the first minute of the video or so
@@TECHDRONEMEDIAthanks …. I skipped through the video and missed that part.
Nobody would buy it for this kind of following. Take it out to the airfield and testit for top speed plus max tracking distance.
Sure, that will be another test..
poor tracking quality no doubt
