Merry Christmas Eve y'all! If y'all remember, Judd and I were sick last week. Thankfully we are much better! (Just a little cough is lingering). I already have family in town and I am so excited for y'all to meet them! But, I do have a special video for you tomorrow. Harlow being extra hilarious! :P

Merry Christmas! I love tjmaxx and home goods, but neither is accessibility friendly! I don’t even use a mobility aid, but I do use carts to balance on and rest. Being able to hold to the cart the entire time is hard enough, I can’t imagine having to use a mobility aid!

I'm home for Christmas and my parents puppy (11 months old) was very confused while you guys were squeaking the toys lol. it was also his first Christmas and he was overwhelmed with the amount of toys he received!! he didn't know what to do with himself

The toy is definitely a zebra. It has the tuft of hair on it's head. Giraffe's don't have that tuft of hair...zebras do.
We always get our dog presents for her birthday and Christmas. She loves unwrapping her gifts, it is so cute.

That is definitely a zebra!! Our little Chihuahua has a burrow bed like the one Judd has on his head. She loves it!! My husband found it, now she can't live without it! Have a Very Merry Christmas!! I hope that your health is good enough that you can enjoy it!!

My dogs open their gifts themselves also. It's so cute! They must have a certain scent that attracts them. They can pick their own gifts out even if they're in a huge pile of so many other gifts .

The beds reminded me that my parents got their Pepper a new bed yesterday, and she was so annoyed that it didn't have sides (flipping it and such) that my mom dug the sides (the bottom had long ago detached) of the old one from the trash this morning and sat it on top of the new one. Pepper is now very happy and snoozing.
I love the benebones! I try to stick to digestible chews but I make an exception for those. They hold up super well and my dogs love them. I prefer that they are flavored with real stuff instead of funky chemicals.

You guys are too cute together. lol I buy presents and wrap them for our 2 dogs and 2 cats! Even our hamster gets presents! When we were buying their mound of gifts the people were like wow these pets are loved! Yes, they are! Nothing wrong with getting gifts for the animals that make your life worth living.

That's so cute. I buy presents for our pets too. I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas and low Symptom day. Jaquie how do you not live in fear with your MCAS and anaphylaxis? I have MCAS and my allergic reactions seem to be getting worse which makes my anxiety worse. Today my throat feels weird and my mom says just keep busy, but I was being busy when it happened. I now carry EpiPens everywhere. I prayed this morning, But I'm still scared.
Being prepared helps me a lot (Epipens, emergency kit, etc). I think living a fearful life scares me more. But I do have times where the fear is too much. I lean into my faith a lot, and just do the best I can.

Why do you not use your smartdrive?
It's broken :( The bracelet won't stay connected and needs to be replaced. But seeing as it is the holidays and the busiest time of year for shipping, I have not gotten a new one yet.

It's ready to use! I need different supplies from my home health company and my nurse needs to be here. So we will probably do it during my next IVIG, in about 2 weeks.

I wish I could bake some dog treats, but my left side is completely in spasm.

Bless u Hunnie I have a habit of falling asleep wen out for meals or duckin out early cause of pain... beth windows It’s not very polite to ask people about their weight even if you mean well. You never know how they feel about it. Let’s say you see someone who went from being really thin to looking healthier, and you say something like that... if they were struggling with an eating disorder or something it can trigger a relapse. Just be careful. I lost a lot of weight due to my illness and it triggered some disordered eating issues, so now that I’ve started gaining weight and if people comment on it, it’s hard to handle because I don’t want to gain weight but I have to. Obviously this isn’t everyone’s experience and I’m not speaking for Jaquie or anyone else, but I know of others in the chronic illness community who share my experience.
