My cat's an indoor cat but she has access to the balcony where she can survey her property. I made the mistake of petting a neighbor's cat who just loves our property. Upon entering the house, my cat attacked me. Apparently it's a normal behavior of cats that are very territorial. In other words, be careful being kind to other cats.

Oh no! Sorry to hear this. I hope he won’t be territorial like this. He’s actually not my cat- he’s a neighborhood cat, and he comes to visit sometimes. So not sure if he is claiming me as “his” human. Thanks for the heads up though !
