White with one blue eye and one green eye.
When I was a kid in Jersey City (Astounding place BTW) I found a white cat in my back yard with the same colors.
When I went to pet it, it bit right through my finger.
Only later did I find out it couldn't decipher my attempt at a soothing and reassuring voice because she was deaf.

I had a cat who used to complain very loudly. Hissing, growling, you name it. She never scratched me. She followed me absolutely everywhere and trusted me completely. She was just a very vocal cat. When she was in "complain modus" I figured out that feeding her a little bit of unsweetened peanut butter would result in a mix of growling, licking and purring. So yeah, some cats are just wired differently.

I’ve had a deaf cat and god lord was she loud! She thought she was meowing normally, but she was screaming. Sometimes people thought I had a fussy (human) baby. She did know some sign language: come here, get down, up, treat. Unfortunately I had to give her up when I moved to an apartment (two cat limit, and I was worried about disturbing neighbors. I gave her back to the same no-kill shelter I got her from and explained the situation. They were very sweet and understanding. She got adopted almost right away when they took her to adoption event. Apparently she was adopted by an older couple who loved how chatty she was and were impressed by her understanding of sign language. I think either one or both of them were hearing impaired.

My old cat was kind of like that about brushing. We got Gizmo's claws professionally clipped one time because I had trouble doing it (she haaaaaated it). Because I told them she loves brushies, the groomer brushed her afterwards to try to calm her down.
I came in to pick Gizmo up, and found the groomer trying to pry the brush away from Gizmo - she had a death grip on it so she could smash her face into it and wasn't giving up her brushies.
The only safe way I ever found to get a brush away from her without drama was just to pick her up (brush and all) and hold her bum up and head down. She lets go of the brush, she gets put right side up and cuddles.
Oh. And she loved the hairdryer. She was a weird cat.

One cat on my feline staff loved being vacuumed with a regular vacuum cleaner. She wasn't deaf either. I used the normal tube part without any attachment.
This was before topical flea treatments. Vacuuming didn't help with the fleas, although it probably helped with the flea dirt. I spent a lot of time flea combing cats and drowning the retrieved fleas in a container of soapy water... and tripping over flea traps on the floor. Vacuumed daily and sprayed surfaces with borax solution to kill eggs. Put a piece of flea collar in the vacuum cleaner. One cat and I were sensitive to pesticides, but 3M had an encapsulated option that was ok for floors and the rest of us. I sprayed the yard with flea munching nematodes. My life revolved around the never-ending flea battle.
When Frontline arrived on the market, it was a miracle. Within an hour of application, the only fleas on the most attractive flea bait kitty were dead or acting like drunken sailors. My cats became very efficient little flea killing machines, indoors and outdoors. I got an honorable discharge as a flea combat veteran.
It had been so bad that I had a note on the door in case of emergency: "3 cats and millions of fleas inside". It all started from a friend's little itchy dog she brought into my house briefly. Before that, we had had five blissful flea-free years.

My daughter is hypermobile and had stomach issues and these things do indeed come with challenges and are disabilities. And we both deal with ADHD and Autism. I do consider the neurodivergence to be “differently abled” I guess, but as long as the rest of the world does things one way and we can’t, we’re disabled in it.
And our cat has no health issues but she wasn’t getting adopted and needed a home with no other pets. Gotta recognize the need to fulfill it. Not everyone could take Ooky, and not everyone can handle a disabled cat.

My normally quiet Minou meowed and yowled virtually non-stop, all the way there.
