For a couple of guys who couldn't think of what to play, they really got this one off.

Wonderful!!!
Hey, Chuck: message got through (little signal where I've been). Lunch in Gainesville somewhere on Saturday 11/16? My cell for texts 802-779-4445
Thank you.
wow great!!!
Really enjoyed hearing this Brad. I've always enjoyed Tommy's fiddling but I was impressed by your banjo playing on this tune as well. I'm really looking forward to hearing more.
Thanks John! I'll be posting more of Tommy. I have a number of recordings of him on fiddle and me on banjo, also me on fiddle and him on banjo, as well as just him solo, dating back to about 1973. I want to make that stuff all available on RUclips for fans of Tommy's music.
@@bradleftwich Thank you so much for posting these! Wonderful audio and playing, both!
I'll second what John said. Brad, you were right with Tommy on this one.
That was terrific. I just received “Down to the Cider Mill” today by mail and this is just as good!
Thank you! Check back from time to time, I have a lot of old field recordings of Tommy and will be putting up more in weeks (months) to come.
I have a Bob Carlin record with you on it and really enjoy that also. 😃
