I first heard a different version of Cindy in the Western Rio Grande “I believe that’s what it was called.” Old John Wayne film. I loved it. Ol Stumpy sang that with a harmonica. Good times.
I love your music. Music is a very important important cultural marker. You all are such a blessing for me keeping our culture alive. Today they want to replace traditional American minstrel show music with degenerate rap concerts or Taylor swifts, even much of rock is degenerate (I say that as generally a fan of rock music). Thank you for keeping it alive.
Wow. This is better than excellent! This band is really good all the songs of 2023 combined wouldn't even match to you! You're reenactments are really 100x good!
@@2ndSouthCarolinaStringBand Of course!I'm very interested in these songs, which make me feel joyful. By the way,I like American country music because of red dead redemptionII
From Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, we are the descendands of the three empires (english, french, spanish). We keep western christian civilization values deep in our hearts we are now called out to stand up for: family, tradition, property and freedom. Long live Dixie!
Two years ago, I was new to playing the banjo and was digging through Spotify to hear a good version of “Camptown Races” with some banjo in it. Your version from “Hard Road” came up. I really liked it! So, I starting seeing what else you had on the album, I noticed “Oh, Susannah”, listened to it and was equally impressed. Then I heard “Cindy” and “Battlecry of Freedom” and was FLOORED! I have since heard many versions of these songs from other artists. They just don’t even come close to the versions you do! I have your music in my collection now and cherish it. Thanks so much for your music!
Just dropping by to say how much I appreciate your music. Ken Burns introduced me to the civil war and since then I've been fascinated with that time's music. I hope you guys are doing well and are proud of your work and its impact. Love from Greece.
Yeah. Sorry 'bout that. See, the photographer only just got there about 2 hrs. before this set. He was literally in the process of setting up his gear when we started playing. The main camera (A Roll) for some reason was not recording in stereo at that point. The second camera (B Roll - which has only a few clips in this video) WAS in stereo, but not recording the whole song, so we couldn't use it. i chose to upload this anyway because it's a song we don't have video of anywhere else over 30 years... 'K ? Sorry again. Really. I, too, am disappointed.
Come on now guys I see the US flag but where's your southern stars and bars ? Do what's true if y'all can get there. NASCAR hates history is it like that here too?
I love all the songs performed by this band!!!🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏

I'm sorry, man, but Alaska was part of the Russian Empire. Nothing personal, it just happened that way historically.
@@ВадимАлексеев-н9д But, a great but, no russian heritage was passed down to the present.
Excellent 👏👏👏
