- Jon and I are rehearsing for the recording of our second album, and we thought we'd share a glimpse into our practice time as we get sounds. We are so thrilled to be working on this project together. Stay tuned for more material soon!

Oh so gorgeous, a favourite tune!
Thank you!
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful playing from both of you, as usual! Good stuff Tom!
Thank you Adam!
Have always loved you guys playing together--glad to see this!
Thank you, Martin!
That's why I'm learning to play claw hammer banjo - so I can do that. I'll get there eventually. 🙂
Yes, you will!
Keep at it Glen!
That infectious, foot-tapping groove, yes. That feeling the tune is coming from a single, demonically-inspired instrument, yes. How different from the desultory jams, the Wednesday night tune circles. Yet Cindy is one of the canon played regularly there - I bet I played it half a dozen times in the past dozen weeks, and never enjoyed it a quarter so much. Well done, boys!
@@slowerpicker High praise, Doug, thank you!
I enjoyed that. Thanks.
You're welcome, Paco!
Lovely! That inspires me to get better at clawhammer banjo
wow! That's some great playing! I'm learning how to play clawhammer and this is very inspiring. 🍻
Thanks for the comment, Justin!
Great!!!
That was good. Have a good weekend the both of you. Regards, Englishman in Germany.
Thanks, Don. You too!
Thanks Don!
Very nice playing gentlemen. 👏🏻
Thank you, good sir!
I go to school with your your niece and she showed the class this channel of her uncle and I thought it was interesting, so I payed a visit to your channel. You're a very good player, sir!
thanks!
Tom, Its good to see you playing. The fiddle didn't seem dominant as it did on the CD. George
Both are instruments I'd love to learn, but I'm 46 and afraid it might be too late for me to truly learn either. That was really great guys.
Thanks Betsy -- and I honestly believe it's never too late!
I agree with Jon. One of the wonderful things about old time music is that anyone can learn to play, at any point. Don't wait any longer! Jump right in!
Well, I have a banjo and a fiddle, so I guess I have no excuses. Time to get started.
Whatever you do, don't stop! Don't give up. Go for simple things and get them down, and then keep going. One day you will pick up the banjo or fiddle and out will come a surprise: good music!
Thanks, do you think I should focus on one?
Any chance for another album?
Amazing. Is your first album on Spotify?
we're on CDBaby for right now, Jeff. Thanks for your comment.
great playin...what's your setup?..banjo, head etc. thx
Thanks! I'm playing an Ome Omega 11", vintage tone ring, renaissance head and Bill Kieth strings. Cheers! Tom
