not all are real but the government is a commercial corporation they get their money back as many ways as possible. Also don't believe imprisonment ever costs them money I think they make heck of a lot more creating criminals.

Hamfists Man ok listen to this:
      1. If the victim was “supposedly”strangled, stabbed and then shot in Avery’s house, where is the blood?!? There should be tonnes of blood splattered everywhere, even if he cleaned it up, There’s always some evidence of a deep clean up, but Avery’s property looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years, they never even found a single drop of her blood.
      2. Avery is NOT a smart man ok?!? We all agree on that, nor is his nephew who is actually mentally challenged, they simply did not have the brains to orchestrate all of this.
3.Avery could have easily demolished the victim’s s car since he had all the machinery to do so, so why he didn’t get rid of the evidence?!?
4.Avery was already having a bonfire on the day of the victim’s disappearance.
5.The victim remains where moved from the point of burning to Avery’s bonfire, clear evidence was found on the bones themselves, the county police department did not wait for the bones experts and conducted the excavations by themselves, they removed the bones and placed them in a box, by doing so they have basically tampered and contaminated the crime scene.
6.Avery’s house was searched for 8 days straight by the other police department and nothing was ever found, after months and months the police department from Avery’s county (who already previously framed him, and was supposedly advised to stay out of this case) strangely conducts a NOT needed search in Avery’s property and somehow some evidence is found, by them ONLY!! 🤔🤔
7.The DNA test that was found on the bullet was contaminated, but somehow still used in Avery’s case because the police officer specifically told the DNA specialist to pin point the DNA evidence towards Avery’s property.
8.The victim’s car key that is “supposedly”found in plain sight on Avery’s house floor, only contains Avery’s DNA and not the victim’s who drove the car everyday, how is that even possible?!?🤔
9.Of course Avery’s DNA is going to be found on the keys they where laying on his goddamn house floor, that’s how DNA works, is very volatile.
10.The only evidence they have are two drops of Avery’s blood, one looks exactly like a dot with a point in the middle like it was squeezed from a syringe or something, the other looks like it’s a small streak.
11.When Avery’s solicitors request and check his blood sample kept by the county police department, they discover that the sample has been tampered with and that there is evidence of a hole in it, clearly somebody has extracted some of that blood.
12.Only the police had access to Avery’s blood and the fact that a very little amount of Avery’s blood was found on the victim’s car explains it all, but somehow this absolutely great discovery is not admissible in court🤔 the judge seems to do everything to obstacle the truth.
13.The victim’s s blood is found in her car ONLY!! and even the county police agrees that the blood marks on the car are a clear sign of transport, bare in mind that the police did NOT have access to the victim’s blood, that’s why it was never ever found in any other place!!
14.If Avery killed the woman in his house and then burned her body in his yard right next to his house why did he need to transport her body with the car?!? He could have simply carried her there 🤷‍♀️
15.Avery’s nephew is basically mentally challenged and does not understand what is going on at all times, he simply does not comprehend the gravity of this whole situation, if he was part of this tragic event he surely would remember or he would still be traumatised by it, but he is not, he’s been force fed what to say, but due to his limited capacities he keep changing the stories because he does not know which one to tell, he’s definitely not admissible in court, this witness should not even be accepted in this trial at all.
15.Strangely the victim’s ex boyfriend was NEVER investigated!! Something that should always be done in any case of murder or disappearance.
16.The ex boyfriend had access to the victim’s phone voicemails password and he could be the one that actually deleted the messages on the day of her disappearance.
16.The ex boyfriend conducted the researches as if she was already dead from day one,why he did not take in consideration that she could still be alive ?!? Did he already know something?!?
17.The ex boyfriend gave a camera to the woman assigned to search Avery’s property ONLY, basically leading her there🤔and somehow with all the thousands of cars in Avery’s property she manages to bump straight into the victim’s car first time round.
18.The ex boyfriend can’t remember events clearly, he is very vague about time frames and dates.🤔🤔
19.The ex boyfriend even managed to hack the victim’s phone inbound and outbound calls, which is something very very strange who does that?!?and how does he do that?!?
20.The victim had a stalker that was threatening and pestering her with calls and txts for weeks prior to her disappearance but nobody has actually ever checked who the phone number belonged to or who this person might was.
21.Police never even thought about following this lead because they all wanted it to be Avery so bad that they have concentrated all their attentions towards Avery’s ONLY!!
22.The ex boyfriend and the victim’s brother where the only two people to know the victims phone voicemail password.
23.The ex boyfriend already knows how to hack her phone.
24.The ex boyfriend has a motive because the victim left him and was living with his best friend, but this was NEVER EVER looked into😨
25.The police had a big evident dislike towards Avery due to his past and prior convictions, they saw all the very skeptical evidence leading to Avery, they have tried to frame him because he was the most gullible person in the whole county and they where due to pay him a BIG COMPENSATION, they where desperate to shift the attention from their wrongdoings and corruptions allegations in handling of Avery’s previous case.Soon after Avery’s arrest the compensation case was dropped !! by framing Avery’s they managed to AVOID PAYING Avery his big compensation money !!
Is a win win situation isn’t it ?!?
How convenient is that?!?too convenient I’d say 😑
26.The police officer phone call to the dispatch line two days prior to the victim’s car discovery was clear evidence that victim was found there and then, he sounded like he just found her car but when questioned in court, it was clear as day that he was lying like there was no tomorrow.
27.The victim ex boyfriend knew all of this since it was basically plastered all over the news and he took advantage of this situation and dumped the body and the car in Avery’s property or the police found the victim and the car and planted it into Avery’s property because they did not have anybody else to blame.
28.Bare in mind that Avery’s property is HUUGE with countless amounts of cars, anyone could have easily entered his property without being noticed.
I am sorry for my English I wish I could explain it better but I am convinced about this, it is all too sketchy I wish that the ex boyfriend could be closely investigated, he was acting very very weirdly when questioned and I think they should all shift their attention to him, I am sure something will definitely come out of it. This case is so sad, this case is full of discrepancies throughout, the whole county department is corrupted to the chore, they will never give Avery a fair trial, it is clear that even the judge is in it. I hope that the truth will eventually come out and this poor man and his family could one day finally enjoy their lives, I feel so sorry for his parents too, the police did everything they could to separate him from his girlfriend and break his family apart. They accused him and considered him guilty from day one!! What happened to the anyone considered innocent until proven guilty?!? Avery was clearly denied this privilege.

Yep. That was the scene where went, okay you don't have to be a Mensa member to realize this kid has not a goddamn clue of what is going on. If those cops had any sense or regard for true justice they should have stopped right there and gone... okay let's get his mom or a lawyer in here. I mean my god the kid just asked if he's going to get back to 6th period after 'confessing' to murder. Btw, what jury on Earth watches that interrogation tape and still thinks the kid is guilty? What happened to cooberating evidence? Brendan says he killed her in Avery's room... but there is no blood anywhere. The dude lives like a hoarder how exactly would he have cleaned every drop of blood from a brutal slaying with being stabbed and shot while tied to a bed?

They really have to fix the idea that you can incriminate yourself with a confession that doesn't match any forensic probability. If you slit someone's throat in a room, that's not something you can make disappear on a forensic level. Getting a conviction for mutilating a body without any physical evidence is fucking insanity.

I never refer to it as "Brendon's confession" anymore. I refer to it as "The story that Fassbender and Weigert tricked Brendon into parroting". These two guys pulled Brendon out of school, not suspecting a thing. They lied to his mother (she waited in another room while her son was set up) telling her she could not be present. They supposedly questioned Brendon to get the truth, but wouldn't accept the truth instead substituting their lies. Brendon was Steven Avery's biggest alibi. By making Brendon an accomplice, they effectively destroyed Steven's only alibi. This is "Tampering with a witness" which is a felony. Add that to the list of unconscionable acts the MCSD and Ken Kratz have done.

It's not to say he was stupid, yet, he wasn't smart either, as Awesome zebra put it he was a teen with "special needs". A typical 16 years old would have been much more emotional. Brendan was detached from the whole situation because he couldn't mentally understand or even answer those that took advantage of him, properly. You are upset that he was taken advantage of... well, that isn't our fault, we saw he was being used to get their "bigger fish". ok listen to this:

      @Werewolffy
Here goes.. I might not have time go through all of these but we'll see.
In the garage. The truth is that we don't know what happened in his trailer. That's just the way it goes sometimes. The initial focus of the investigation was on the trailer, it wasn't until much later that the focus became the garage in large part due to new information from Dassey. A large area in the garage reacted to luminol, suggesting a clean up attempt was made there. Brendan testified that Avery asked him to help clean up a patch of "dark red liquid" from the garage with bleach, paint thinner and gasoline. His bleach-stained pants were even entered into evidence.
People expect blood & semen to everywhere, and this case is questioned because it does not conform to their CSI fantasy of what a crime scene should look like. There doesn't always have to be blood. As for the lack of spatter, it's entirely plausible in this case that there would be no splatter due to the low caliber (22.) bullet that Avery used, studies on this caliber have concluded that forward and back splatter may be entirely absent. I would also mention that amongst Teresa's burnt remains, eyelets were found which would suggest that a tarp was used.
      2. Avery is NOT a smart man ok?!? We all agree on that, nor is his nephew who actually looks retarded, they simply did not have the brains to orchestrate all of this.
Correct, which is why Avery left a trail of evidence back to him.
3.Avery could have easily demolished the victim’s s car since he had all the machinery to do so, so why he didn’t get rid of the evidence?!?
Yes, he did have the machinery to do it & it's plausible that he might have been waiting for an opportunity to do so. If you look into the process of crushing a vehicle, it's not as simple and quick as you first imagine. You can't just drive the vehicle into the crusher. Parts have to be disconnected, dismantled, liquids have to be drained, the car has to be lifted up for the tyre's to be removed etc. It's a long process, not to mention the noise. Avery's brother would have heard the crusher at night as it's close to his house, so he would have certainly investigated at that time.
Why did he leave the car on his property? It would have been a huge risk. What if he was seen driving the vehicle? Remember also, wherever he would have decided to dump the car, he would of had to walk back. If he was noticed by anyone at all, it would be game over. Most killers do not have the luxury of a salvage yard of a few thousand cars in their backyard. The most likely explanation is that he left the car where he thought would be best, disconnected the battery (leaving his DNA on the hood latch), covered up, and kept the key for when he had the opportunity to dispose of the car.
4.Avery was already having a bonfire on the day of the victim’s disappearance.
Yes he was, did you know he initially denied having the fire?
5.The victim remains where moved from the point of burning to Avery’s bonfire, clear evidence was found on the bones themselves, the county police department did not wait for the bones experts and conducted the excavations by themselves, they removed the bones and placed them in a box, by doing so they have basically tampered and contaminated the crime scene.
Incorrect, just the filmmakers misrepresenting the evidence again. No additional burn sites with Teresa's remains were found. All experts agreed that Steven's burn pit was the likely location where Teresa's body was burnt.
Again, the filmmakers are to blame. If you read the testimonies this all becomes clear the events were not as you describe them. The different searches in each part of the property had different objectives, some were very brief searches, some were longer. Avery's trailer for example: the first search was a general search to find evidence of Teresa, another search was to spray luminol, another was to search the computer, one search was to retrieve items previously noted in a previous search, one search was called off until the next day due to bad weather.Control of the operation was indeed handed over to Calumet county, but Manitowoc officers were not "banned" from assisting Calumet, in fact, Calumet asked Manitowoc officers with the training to assist in the searches.
7.The DNA test that was found on the bullet was contaminated, but somehow still used in Avery’s case because the police officer specifically told the DNA specialist to pin point the DNA evidence towards Avery’s property.
Incorrect. The forensic technician contaminated the test sample with her own saliva when she was talking to her students. The actual wash sample from the bullet, however, was not contaminated and contained Teresa's DNA.
8.The victim’s car key that is “supposedly”found in plain sight on Avery’s house floor, only contains Avery’s DNA and not the victim’s who drove the car everyday, how is that even possible?!?🤔
The key is difficult for both the prosecution and the defense. Difficult for the prosecution due to the circumstances of how it was found by Lenk and Colburn (who, by the way, were not actually in any way culpable in Steven's lawsuit) as the key would have had to have fallen from behind the bookcase. That's all.
As for Teresa's DNA missing from the key, the forensic experts stated that when an object like this passes from one person to another, it is not out of the ordinary for the previous owners DNA to be degraded, removed and replaced. It should be noted that Buting, and the defense investigator who remarks this as absurd in the documentary have no scientific expertise on the matter. As previously mentioned, it's entirely plausible that Avery may have had the intention of moving the vehicle at a later date and kept the key. He may have cleaned the key (might have gotten more of his own blood on it) before hiding it in the back of the bookcase.
"9.Of course Avery’s DNA is going to be found on the keys they where laying on his goddamn house floor, that’s how DNA works, is very volatile."
Sort of previously answered, and not based in any sort of science so pointless to answer.
"10.The only evidence they have are two drops of Avery’s blood, one looks exactly like a dot with a point in the middle like it was squeezed from a syringe or something, the other looks like it’s a small streak."
A blood pattern expert from the state crime lab examined the blood in the car and concluded them to be passive stains and transfer stains consistent with what would be expected from an actively bleeding wound. Avery had a fresh, fairly deep gash on his right middle finger at the time.
"11.When Avery’s solicitors request and check his blood sample kept by the county police department, they discover that the sample has been tampered with and that there is evidence of a hole in it, clearly somebody has extracted some of that blood. "
A complete dud by the filmmakers that they never addressed again after that episode. In fact, the defense never even brought it up at the trial. It turns out that the seal was broken because Avery's previous defense lawyers had opened the case previously to help exonerate him for the rape charge. There was a hole in the top of the container as that's how the blood is transferred into the tube in the first place.
"12.Only the police had access to Avery’s blood and the fact that a very little amount of Avery’s blood was found on the victim’s car explains it all, but somehow this absolutely great discovery is not admissible in court🤔 the judge seems to do everything to obstacle the truth. "
The blood was tested and found to be EDTA-free. The blood did not come from the vial, despite the defenses bests attempt to discredit the test that was done. Even Zellner's (Steve's current lawyer working for him) own experts have abandoned the theory of the blood coming from the vial, and are desperately pursuing new theories as to how whoever supposedly did the planting was able to obtain fresh Steve Avery blood and able to fool the blood pattern experts.
Seems I've hit the character limit, so I hope that's enough to satisfy you for the time being :)

This just shows you how fucked up the justice system is as he won his appeal to be released. Yet in comes the Wisconsin Justice Department who care more about not wanting to look like they were wrong than they care about making sure they got something correct. So even when he wins his appeal to be released Justice Apartment was able to appeal that and make it so 3 judges instead of one would decide his fate. Those 3 judges upheld the decision to allow for him to be released so at this point he's won twice. But ohh no here comes the Justice Department again petitioning to have a 3rd hearing this time with 7 judges to decide his fate and they voted 4-3 to keep him locked away. Just so dumb that you can win your freedom twice yet Justice Department can just keep on trying again and again to get the outcome the want.

It's very sickening to see such a corrupt system from a cop all the way up to Supreme judges, shame on all who denied their rights. The truth always comes out, and that will be a scary day for those who were against. Such a tragic story but I have faith Kathleen and her amazing team will bring justice! I also pray for Stevens parents the broken hearts they carry is so unbearable, you can see the pain and hurt in their eyes as they grow older. I pray for Barb because the truth may actually be worst than she could ever imagine.

During the police interrogation of Brendan Dasey he said that Avery stabbed her. The officers say "come on now be honest, something about the head". Dasey sits there for minutes with a confused look on his face and eventually said "he cut off her hair". The officers say "what else". Dasey said "he punched her". The officers say "what else". Dasey said "he cut her throat" and the officers say "what else happens to her in her head", (THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THE OFFICERS HAVE SAID WHAT HAPPENED TO HER HEAD - DASEY HAS NEVER OFFERED UP INFORMATION ABOUT DAMAGE TO TARESA'S HEAD ON HIS OWN) by this stage Dasey clearly looks to me like he is thinking, what do they want me to say. The officers say repeatedly "what else" as Dasey sits there with a confused look. Dasey then said "that's all I can remember". The officer then said and I quote "ok then I'm just gunna come right out and ask you, who shot her in the head" and Dasey replies instantly "he did". I mean this is the most blatant coercion you could ever possibly witness, how can anybody with a reasonable amount of intelligence view this as a concrete confession from a 16 year old boy with a low IQ. The officers literally created the narrative for Dasey to say "HE DID" I mean it's just beyond comprehension that this was admissible.
Plus he also asks the officer if he will be released by 1:30 because he has a project due at school, so it is clear that he has no idea that he is confessing and will go to jail so he is just telling them what they want to hear to get out of there as quickly as he can. He has no idea of the consequences of his words.

+Nicholas Vandal I feel the same way. The very first moment I saw her ex on the documentary, I just got a strong feeling something was up with him. I don't even think he was ever a suspect either. Remember when, during the Steven Avery court case, that this man (forgot his name) was on the stand, stating that Theresa was complaining of receiving these phone calls. How she seemed upset over them.. Knowing who the person was. But it was never said or even checked who was making these calls to her. Also, her ex knew that her last client was Steven Avery. Her brother even stated on the stand that with Steven Avery's background and being the last client that day, that his property should be checked. I think the murderer(s) knew about Steven Avery's background and took full advantage of the situation at hand. I think the murderer(s) got extremely lucky with the police planting evidence too.

+Nicholas Vandal i think it was the victims brother. He was very cold. And he had alot to do with finding the car and even offered a camera to the person who found it.
So he directed the person right to the car, gave her a camera, deleted voicemails off of her account by hacking into it,..
Nobody really thinks about him tho. He wanted the blame on these two, just as much as the police. Very suspicious, imo.

The court circuit first upheld this decision. It was a panel of 3 Judges. The vote was 2-1. Then someone from the DOJ asked for an en banc hearing (involving all the Judges in the circuit). They upheld the conviction in a 4-3 vote. So, he´s still in jail.
      from wikipedia:
In June 2017, a three-judge panel of the Seventh Circuit upheld the magistrate's decision to overturn Dassey's conviction.[42] Judge Ilana Rovner, joined by Judge Ann Claire Williams, affirmed, over the dissent of Judge David Hamilton.[43][44] On July 5th, the Wisconsin Department of Justice submitted a petition requesting a rehearing en banc-by the entire 7th Circuit panel.[45] On August 4th 2017, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals granted the State of Wisconsin’s request for an en banc hearing with oral arguments set for September 26th in Chicago before a full panel of sitting judges.[46]
On December 8, 2017, the full en banc Seventh Circuit upheld Dassey's conviction by a vote of 4-3, with the majority finding that the police had properly obtained Dassey's confession.[47][48] Judge Hamilton's majority opinion was joined by Judges Frank H. Easterbrook, Michael Stephen Kanne, and Diane S. Sykes. Chief Judge Diane Wood and Judge Rovner both wrote dissents, joined by Judge Williams.[49]

I wonder how many people on here know, that this decision by the federal judge to over turn his conviction.. didn't actually come thru!! The damn state of Wisconsin of course, appealed that judge's decision.. so then there had to get 3 different Courts involved to then all unanimously decide the same verdict as to whether they let him out. And they didnt.. the 3 courts kept the state's original verdict and so he lost that appeal. Now poor thing has lost his highest appeals process smdh.. he's out of moves, doesn't have any appeals left after this last one, the United States supreme court fucking denied him! Smfh... I PRAY for him and people alike.. the average, hard working class Americans.. that this could happen to any one of us! God help us all! Justice reform needs to come NOW!!

The golden rule when being interrogated by the police is to request a lawyer/attorney from the moment you are arrested. Until your appointed lawyer/attorney arrives at the police station you answer 'No Comment' to any question they might ask of you. Other than confirming your name, address and date of birth if asked to do so. From then on your lawyer must be present at every interrogation/interview the police seek to have with you. If you choose to go it alone every single time you open your mouth you will be digging your own grave! As the saying goes - " Least said - soonest mended"

I think he was involved. Here's why, when he is asked where he came up with the story of the murder, he replied he had read it in a book. This kid was a 10th grade student with a 4th grade reading level. There is no possible way this kid read anything that graphic, and violent in a 4th grade level book.
It is also strange that after the alleged crime was committed he wouldn't eat couldn't sleep and lost a bunch of weight. In the series making a murder his mother even describes her sons strange behavior. People dont just act like that for no reason. Especially a person who leads a quite normal life in a rural environment.
In conclusion something drastically changed this child's perspective enough to physically change his behavior and appearance. I watched the documentary and read several articles online about this case, and I'm just not convinced that the suspects are innocent.
That's all I have to say about that- Forest Gump

If Avery had murdered this poor girl he would have known her appointment with him was known by others, he would have expected her to be reported missing immediately, he would have been expecting the cops to arrive at any time. The last thing he would have done is attempt to burn her body.

I am beyond sick how Law Enforcement gets away with stuff like this. My Uncle lost a total of 29 years for a murder he wasn't even on the same side of Anderson, Indiana at the time of the murder. There was nothing what-so-ever putting him there. The biggest problem was it happened to be a big election, the Judge and the DA both were up for reelection. They both lost that year, for my uncle case made its way into True Detective Magazine along with others as well. Once he did get out after 29 years he died when he reared into the back of a Frito-Lay semi right outside Warner Robins Air Force Base in his small Toyota Pickup 5 years later. I am the holder of his ashes along with his story that he wrote while in the Indiana State Prison along with a few others that he has written but I just keep them locked away. May he finally found peace. I am truly sorry for what this family went through and no matter what happens now just cherish the time y'all have.

All court appointed attorneys have the same strategy. They tell the accused to plead guilty. It happened to me for a minor misdemeanor. I told the drunkard attorney I would represent myself. I did and was found not guilty. BTW, the cops lied all through the trial. This is the way real world works, folks.
