This is why when I can hit my irons I can’t hit my driver. Or when I can hit my driver I can’t hit my irons. I always tried to keep my swing the same. I didn’t know I had to change it depending on the club.
It’s only with the driver really that you have to make small changes with because your hitting up on it

The ball setup and shaft positioning is everything for me. Turns out I favor my ball to be slightly on my right foot when I hit iron and the longer the shaft, further right it goes.
Irons I find thinking weight 70:30 (70 lead foot) helps me strike ball then divot so consistently.

The longest iron is pretty long, but the shortest iron is very close to the wedges. One size does not fit all irons.
Regardless the millisecond you take either club away 90% of your weight will be on your lead foot to shift into trail. Makes no sense to start with driver on the back so much unless your rocking to shift very explosively. Most people will get stuck having to much weight on there trail leg at impact with driver like that I think
You want to lean back with the driver like that to create lift on the ball and hit it from the bottom going up. If you stand straight with no spine tilt its harder to get the ball high into the air.
What’s up with your trousers?
It is the rotation i always wondered about.. when leaning with the driver, rotating feels so weird.. should you rotate on a different plane or same as iron?
Question about club shaft lean for irons. My grip is usually under my chin like in your set up and I hit the ball really high. Should the grip be pointed towards my left pocket or shoulder to lower my ball flight? If so, how do I avoid closing the club face? Thank you in advance.

The grips look totally different; neutral/weak for irons, strong for driver. That is not uncommon.

I find my driver slice goes away if I put 60-40 towards the front foot instead.

Would you say 3 wood is similar to driver? and Hybrid as well?
3 wood is definitely more similar to driver as the shaft is similar length. The hybrids are meant to feel more like an iron with shorter shaft and easier to hit in my opinion. You set up with the hybrid is more like an iron set up. You put the ball closer to your left heel but not as far left as a driver or 3 wood. More like 4 iron.
