Yes, I use this statement only for myself! I won't go out of my way to impress you or other women. I remember when I was married to my X (thank God it's over) I'd ask "do you need help" and time after time after time, I stopped using those words, "her comment back then was, "I can do it myself" and so I just left the relationship without muttering a word about what I was feeling. Looks like a good trade to me. These men occasionally even find a twenty year old who realizes the folly of her bitter, hateful and lonely mother and makes the decision to seek mutual respect in her relationships, instead. Guys, on saying "I love you" first....usually guys say it from a position of emotional weakness. They are in loss-aversion mode, and fear that they need to lock her down, and so they let their emotions spill out all over. Of course, this is obvious to the girl (even if just subconsciously) and she realizes she is the stable emotional one of the pair...which kills attraction. However.....it's possible to say "I love you" from a position of emotional strength....but you actually need to be that guy, you can't fake it.

Well Marni, long story short: opened doors for her, knew her very well, better than she knew herself sometimes, spent time with her every week, declared my love for her with actions, gifts, time spent, even grand gestures. I took her on dates, gave her my jacket, looked up at the stars with her in the middle of the night in the back of a truck, made jokes as often as was logical to try and make her laugh. I took more joy in her smile than she did I think. But in the end, after a near decade of buildup (I am/was a shy guy) she ended things between us. Now we were an official couple, exclusive and all that. But I never felt right kissing her because i was pretty sure she didn't actually want that. Not because I am repulsive or anything. But just an intuition. In the end she ended things suddenly between us and immediately started dating another guy... a week or less later... it is my assumption they were possibly already together. I know some mistakes I made before I hopefully will not make next time, sometimes I tried to use logic to remove emotion so as to avoid pain, but I understand now that women likely find this unattractive, or robotic. But we were both younger then. I will say however dodged a bullet with her family, they were puppeteering her for most all of her life. Few of her thoughts were original. In addition, her fickle ideas of loyalty and hyper-romanticized ideals, which were not even well communicated made her hard to predict, though I still had like a 82% success rate in predicting her actions. It was that 18% that befuddled me. All that to say, I loved her with a love deeper than any woman I have ever loved. But when she rejected me and immediately was dating another it left me broken for a while. Pathetic as it sounds I believe I am just healing now. Your videos showed me though that the things I misunderstood then were what I guessed and that my actions of affection towards her were not the wrong actions, but rather correct. She was just the wrong girl to direct my affection towards. Thank you for being a 2nd data point.

It's sexist to assume that all men know how to fix things. As a woman, I hated hearing wives complained when their husbands didn't change their tires. I have been in a 28 year lasting relationship, that slipt off track during the last 12 years. Never had any other real dates with women before. And started this relation journey. Ok Marnie, the vast majority of women have been heavily influenced by the whole feminism movement and as such, it's damned near impossible to find women that can, much less want to cook. They tend to become offended when it suggested that they do anything typically considered "woman's work". By contrast you are saying that we should do all of the traditional male responsibilities and that turns her on. Fine, but do most of them have to offer us in return. Sadly, most of them arrive at the relationship with the attitude that she is simply enough. Her blessing us with her mere presence is all we can or should expect. Okay so funny thing is I was getting ready to watch this video and a commercial came on...right because this is freaking RUclips and it's so annoying with the commercials now. Guys, on saying "I love you" first....usually guys say it from a position of emotional weakness. They are in loss-aversion mode, and fear that they need to lock her down, and so they let their emotions spill out all over. Of course, this is obvious to the girl (even if just subconsciously) and she realizes she is the stable emotional one of the pair...which kills attraction. However.....it's possible to say "I love you" from a position of emotional strength....but you actually need to be that guy, you can't fake it.

Well Marni, long story short: opened doors for her, knew her very well, better than she knew herself sometimes, spent time with her every week, declared my love for her with actions, gifts, time spent, even grand gestures. I took her on dates, gave her my jacket, looked up at the stars with her in the middle of the night in the back of a truck, made jokes as often as was logical to try and make her laugh. I took more joy in her smile than she did I think. But in the end, after a near decade of buildup (I am/was a shy guy) she ended things between us. Now we were an official couple, exclusive and all that. But I never felt right kissing her because i was pretty sure she didn't actually want that. Not because I am repulsive or anything. But just an intuition. In the end she ended things suddenly between us and immediately started dating another guy... a week or less later... it is my assumption they were possibly already together. I know some mistakes I made before I hopefully will not make next time, sometimes I tried to use logic to remove emotion so as to avoid pain, but I understand now that women likely find this unattractive, or robotic. But we were both younger then. I will say however dodged a bullet with her family, they were puppeteering her for most all of her life. Few of her thoughts were original. In addition, her fickle ideas of loyalty and hyper-romanticized ideals, which were not even well communicated made her hard to predict, though I still had like a 82% success rate in predicting her actions. It was that 18% that befuddled me. All that to say, I loved her with a love deeper than any woman I have ever loved. But when she rejected me and immediately was dating another it left me broken for a while. Pathetic as it sounds I believe I am just healing now. Your videos showed me though that the things I misunderstood then were what I guessed and that my actions of affection towards her were not the wrong actions, but rather correct. She was just the wrong girl to direct my affection towards. Thank you for being a 2nd data point.

It's sexist to assume that all men know how to fix things. As a woman, I hated hearing wives complained when their husbands didn't change their tires. I don't expect men to help me, but I hate when they stand there and watch me struggle with getting my car out of the snow. I'd rather they walk by and ignore me. I love treating women like the true gems and gift to mankind they all are. It is such a delight to hold the door for a woman and receive even just a smile or nod, not even a verbal thank you is fine. Sometimes though(not often) you get a "woman" who doesn't say anything or indicate any sort of appreciation. That's ok, maybe they are having a bad day or have never been receptive to men helping or perhaps even feminist. That's OK with me, maybe her day will change after I get the door, or something off the shelf at the store they can't reach, etc...I teach my boys this too, chivalry won't be allowed to die on my watch.

I have been in a 28 year lasting relationship, that slipt off track during the last 12 years. Never had any other real dates with women before. And started this relation journey. Actually, after reading, hearing the tips and tricks of Marni, I drove blind during that relationship. I needed some instructions during those 28 years. And for some off track causes I do blame myself.
Today, I'm in a new relation for almost a year, in which I feel such a difference. Yes, even after the short period "attraction mode", you know the butterfly in stomach phase. This new women is so much more open on emotional level, that - and I don't know why - started looking for how women feel, think, howto connect , etc ... ending up with Marni.

Ok Marnie, the vast majority of women have been heavily influenced by the whole feminism movement and as such, it's damned near impossible to find women that can, much less want to cook. They tend to become offended when it suggested that they do anything typically considered "woman's work". By contrast you are saying that we should do all of the traditional male responsibilities and that turns her on. Fine, but do most of them have to offer us in return. Sadly, most of them arrive at the relationship with the attitude that she is simply enough. Her blessing us with her mere presence is all we can or should expect. The whole thing breaks down when we do and do and do, but receive little to nothing in return. If we're a good boy maybe she'll let us have sex with her once in a while. I'm speaking from a position of quite a bit of experience. Plus I cook (very well, actually), I can and do fix most anything, build things, etc. What I've discovered is that very few women will meet you at that level and give of themselves in return. Not much incentive for men to put forth that much effort when it's doubtful that it will be reciprocated. Women need to step their game too, because we know our worth as well.

Where most of your list of tips does work is more likely with Eastern Europe where women have been and are raised more traditionally so some of these things are expected (I had 2 brief ld-relationships with Ukrainian women)

Of course, bear in mind that the advice we guys are looking for are not while in a Relationship. Nor even prior to being BF/GF yet but are already dating some -- unless we the sense her interest isn't-fully-there despite that, and we're uncommonly at this point (due to convenience, timing, luck, lack of options on her end during this timeframe, etc). Otherwise, fixing stuff for her, cooking stuff for her, giving her an unexpected gift, and saying I love you first are Not applicable. That's for already-dating but wanting to unquestionably shift it into becoming BF/GF (although if her interest is not all in, initiating the I love you part would be a bad idea, not a good one).
Still good advice on those specific fronts -- but it applies to a phase past the point of any wing-man/wing-lady. Instead, to this not-dating-yet phase, it'd be more like Projecting yourself as a guy who can cook and who can fix stuff, on those two items (the other two, don't think about).

Okay so funny thing is I was getting ready to watch this video and a commercial came on...right because this is freaking RUclips and it's so annoying with the commercials now. All I can say is this. Most of what you said, I did. And for 22 years until my divorce in 2012, worked. Flirting however, is tricky when narrow minded jealousy kicks in. My ex wife started believing her own hallucinations, combined with, what turned out to be a brain tumor which was, for 14 years, growing in my head....and less then 2 months after my 1rst surgery, left me!
It took 7 years, two surgeries and Congestive Heart Failure; a whole lot of praying, before I met the Wonderful Woman which God has chosen for me, in 2019!!! I still do the things that you speak of, but men never really know what the next woman will be like. Jealous people make relationships dangerous! What I thought was love and respect only turned out to be about money! $28 dollars an hour turned into disability? Love and Marriage became Bitterness and Divorce!!!
