Cool video guys and like you say bags of potential with this one 🔥 I saw one that looked identical to this at Santa pod with a k24 but with a turbo and it was the crowds favourite as it looked totally standard but ran a 12.4 quarter mile, the only thing that gave it away it was boosted was the intercooler peeking out the front grill 😂 and very loud screamer pipe , but this was a great different car to see on the dynodaze dyno. All good fun, awesome video as always guys.
Nice - The k24a from the Odyssey/Accord Type S is apparently rated for 197 bhp. Here in AU, the 2002 - 2006 CRV is usually fitted with the K24A1 at 160 PS, 9.6:1, whilst the K24A2 with VTEC on both intake and outlet is rated at 200 PS, 11.0:1
Could be the K24A low bhp version. They are 160 ish stock and with those mods potentially right at 200 bhp. The K24A high performance even with those mods as rich says rightly has room for upto the 240-250 mark. The torque was quite low too. However a couple of things to consider vs comparing to an ep3 or other k24 cars. The huge wheels , the gearbox might possibly have a long final drive 4.3 maybe etc hence the numbers
@hondadude1331 something not right with that engine. We sell hundreds of the k24a high performance engines and they all make good power even with those kind of bolt ons. So you have an issue somewhere, it could be an unhealthy engine with bad/low compression.
@@honda.spares.man1 perfect compression and definitely the 3 lobe variant, will more than likely just be exhaust related as on the stock crv headers with section of exhaust piping at 1.75 inch
I had the ebay intake manifold on my k24a2 and changed it to the skunk2 manifold and saw no difference in power on the dyno,i did clean up some of the rough castings on the ebay manifold but nothing like a port job. I agree with the other mods needed to be upgraded for better/more power but dont see a need with the intake manifold . Wanted to know your thoughts.?
@jonctr yep, those are the ones I'm referring too. For me I don't need a name brand especially if there's no power difference between the two, it did however pick up power over the stock manifold. Now something like injectors fuel pump, oil pump etc I stick with oem and/or name brands.

It was! Took the whole room up

@hondadude1331 more then happy for you to carry on believing that. Won't waste any more of my time as clearly you know everything.
@@honda.spares.man1 why are you so upset that i know my car 😂
Can you swap K24a RBB3 into a '14 Honda CRV?
If you have enough money
Would you be able to remap a k20 frv? No ECUs for them and im not sure if an EP3 one would work
What ecu was it mapped on? Great vid as always
Hondavert buddy

I see there's plenty of Skunk Ultra Street copies on ebay now as well

Deffo a lot more gains to be had there should be 200 bhp stock get a good exhaust it will make a world of difference
I want to see a 3incher hahaha 😅
I will show you my 3 inches on the next honda meet
Decent power for what it is . Do you know if he did the K20A2 oil pump ? We just use the 06-08 K24A2 from a TSX .
Unsure on that one
