In my opinion and taste this tablet has a serious and crucial problem: the stylus. The line pressure depends on the depth of the tip into the pen and not only in the hand/arm strength. This add another layer of difficult and feels unnatural and difficult to control. It's a shame, because the tablet itself feels very good.
I was wondering if the tablet can be used like a touchpad on laptop. It will be more comfortable to be able to move the cursors around using touch control

Been watching a bunch of your review posts (which are really of great help on understanding each model, by the way) for various drawing tablets as I'm planning to buy one for my son (whose been showing quite an interest on digital art). Been leaning on 2 models both from Huion and would like to know which one would you recommend more, the Inspiroy Dial Q620M above or HS610 you reviewed in your other video? To be used with Windows (laptop) and Android (mobile phone-Samsung). Other brands/models we looked onto are: -Huion H610 Prov 2 -Veikk A50 -Veikk A30 -Veikk A15 -XP Pen Deco 03 -XP Pen Deco Pro Hope to hear from you....
Main use will be with Windows. The drawing functionality with Android may or may not work as expected and this applies to all Android-compatible tablets I've tested. All the tablets you've listed have very similar drawing performance so you can just go with one that looks good to you and fit your budget. Get at least a 10 x 6 inch tablet.
Can you actually deactivate pen tilt function when you don't actually need it? If yes, is it applicable to any tablet that you have been reviewed which also have this same exact feature?
I have this tablet for a week now and it's mostly good, but while holding any of it's buttons, it "lags" the PC while the button is being held down, like an FPS drop, both wired or wireless, though the lag is lessened when wired. The lag goes away immediately when I let off the button and it doesn't affect anything else, they work fine otherwise. It's mostly an issue when panning or zooming on Photoshop, but I still notice my cursor lagging when I'm just changing tools. Does yours/anyone else's have the same issue?

I am not sure whether the tests were one wirelessly - so was there any lag with input in wireless mode. 2. I can see you showed the charging cable going into the tablet - is this only for charging? or can we call this a wired mode and when the cable connected the input uses the cable to send the signal and not wirelessly? Could you suggest a few affordable display tablets with decent screen size. Also, any other brands for a similar tablet-like this Q620 M Dial in XP-Pen with similar active drawing area. Photoshop will have some lag but it’s not the irritating type of lag. It’s perfectly fine. This tablet can be used wirelessly because it has internal battery. As for more affordable models, there are many from Huion, XP Pen, Parblo, Gaomon
Did you have any issue with the keys like, when you press multiple keys at the same time does it register normally? The KD100 has this problem, just making if this has the same issue.

I don't mind the entertainment features of the HS611. I mind the performance and feel. I never tried Huion before but Im sure Huion has been more preferred by lots of creative professionals thru the years.
I've not tried HS611 so I can't say much. But performance between Huion tablets is pretty similar. It's just the designs will look difference, and some features may differ, eg scroll wheel, shortcut buttons. Huion has been making graphic tablets for years. You can read reviews on Amazon to get a feel of their product quality.

HS611 is too slippery for writing. I thought all Huion is the same, but sound like this model has more friction and easier to control. (Sound in this video when the pen scratch the tablet)
I have this tablet, but in Photoshop, the dial does not increase the Brush, it only decreases. The other functions work well. I already changed shortcuts, I already changed Photoshop and nothing solves, it only happens in Photoshop. Do you know why?

Lucas Pedrini thank you for the reply! I was going to send it back, but ended up keeping it. It’s slightly noticeable when you run your hand across it, but like you said, hardly noticeable when drawing.. other than that, works like a charm!

hello teoh yi chie, can you tell me if you recall if the pen nib is solid and firm? is there a lot of play? i had a huion h640 and the nib had a lot of play and made it very hard to make consistent lines. i returned it and got another but the pen nib still had quite a lot of movement. thank you if you can answer this.
Nope. It can change zoom, brush size and scroll. It you want to rotate, you have to assign keyboard shortcuts (assuming there is a shortcut in the software to rotate) to the physical shortcut buttons.
tablets are ok start but cant get them clean sketchy thin lines like with a high end centique often more bulky lines though this one offers more short cuts other wise would need your keyboard
i am confused on the selection should i choose XP-PEN Deco Pro or this one which do u think is a better option for me i am an aspiring game designer and a developer

Two things to note about drawing with Android. There's no driver so you can't assign shortcuts to shortcut buttons, so you don't need a tablet with shortcut buttons. You can't adjust pressure sensitivity so you have to rely on the software implementation of pressure. Actually any tablet that can work with Android should have similar drawing performance. I get anoy when I try to type SHIFT on the far down key to replace the crt+.... so everything I type or press like space arrow it copy like shit. tks again. Ps. the cd fake paper was so legit. imagine if people does not have internet or wifi acces there is an alternative for the 19 update Huion?
I try to click it it work only for Shift plus but i would like to add Shift + pen on the lower tablet button then did not save problably maybe b/c it photoshop.

@@roccorossi5396 Hi! Yes, I did. I chosen xp-pen deco pro m and have no problems with it. I can't tell you if it's good in long-term perspective, but at the moment I'm actually satisfied with all features that tablet has.
At 6:24, you just skipped over that big issue with pen tablets where you have a huge lag-dot at the beginning of a stroke. That's very annoying and the most problematic thing with drawing tablets.

I am having trouble being able to tell if my Inspiroy Dial Q620M is on or off. No light shows, other than initially when the power button is pushed, but all lights immediately go off. Can you please advise how to differentiate when the tablet is on vs. off?
@@teohyc Thank you. Those lights only go on briefly---they flash sequentially from bottom to top and then all go off, even after charging it by attaching it to my computer. Is it likely that it is faulty in some way? It doesn't work consistently in Zoom either. Charging to achieve ~20-hour battery life should only take a couple hours, right?

I don’t think you can deactivate tilt. You may have to do that via the brush settings. Or choose a brush without tilt

It could be due to the driver. Contact Huion to see if they can provide other drivers for you to test.
I'd suggest always opening the Huion app before drawing. I guess it loads in the proper drivers.

Yeah mine has that too, it's barely noticeable while actually using it but I feel it when I run my fingers through the surface

Such pens will have slight movement to the nib

tablets are ok start but cant get them clean sketchy thin lines like with a high end centique often more bulky lines though this one offers more short cuts other wise would need your keyboard

You can use with Android but not all Android devices will show cursor
If compare this tablet against HS 611 , what you will say ? Sure its wireless.. but if not look at wireless mode.. is HS611 will be the same quality? Just I am choosing between these 2 ones
You'll get the same drawing performance. The dial is more useful for changing brush sizes

I don't have any PC at the moment and mostly won't till next year .
Two things to note about drawing with Android. There's no driver so you can't assign shortcuts to shortcut buttons, so you don't need a tablet with shortcut buttons. You can't adjust pressure sensitivity so you have to rely on the software implementation of pressure. Actually any tablet that can work with Android should have similar drawing performance. Not that I can think of. Anyway, 10 x 6 inch is a way more comfortable size to work with. Smaller tablets are usually 6 x 4 inches.

I get anoy when I try to type SHIFT on the far down key to replace the crt+.... so everything I type or press like space arrow it copy like shit. tks again.

It can work with Android phones, but the compatibility is not ideal. E.g. You cannot use hotkeys, pen pressure cannot be customised.

Drawing performance for both are similar. You can just get the cheaper one or the design you like better. This tablet does look good.

At 6:24, you just skipped over that big issue with pen tablets where you have a huge lag-dot at the beginning of a stroke. That's very annoying and the most problematic thing with drawing tablets.

I am having trouble being able to tell if my Inspiroy Dial Q620M is on or off. No light shows, other than initially when the power button is pushed, but all lights immediately go off. Can you please advise how to differentiate when the tablet is on vs. off?
There will be lights on the 8 buttons. And those 8 lights also represent the battery life.
@@teohyc Thank you. Those lights only go on briefly---they flash sequentially from bottom to top and then all go off, even after charging it by attaching it to my computer. Is it likely that it is faulty in some way? It doesn't work consistently in Zoom either. Charging to achieve ~20-hour battery life should only take a couple hours, right?
