    Thank you for your video, watched it a few times before i started it on my 2000 accord and followed it stepped by step, not one issue at all, it was a breeze. Thank you for letting us know the torque saved me time looking for them. Great great video. Thanks

      Ok no problem, but if the bearing cup stack on the shaft that will be a difficult job!! Cutting it will be the only option

    Hope all is well man. I believe on my 99 Honda Accord my front wheel bearing are going out. When I’m in motion and accelerating it’s just a load hummmmm. Sometimes my steering wheel will shake. I haven’t checked it out yet. But if so then replacing them should be the same as you did to your back ones.

      How are you Bro, the front wheel bearings are different you have to use a press to get them out. I replace mine like 2 years ago and I don’t have a video for that but go to Cris fix channel, he has one video on press bearings

    ... I just had my rear hub bearing replaced on my 1999 Accord EX,
    ... and I've noticed something that many videos show that my mechanic didn't do and that is grease before putting the new Hub on.
    ... so my question is are you supposed to always grease b4 putting hub on, and since he didn't will that be a problem for me down the road?

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  5 лет назад +1

      I don’t think so, I get some grease in there just to get the new one on easy, but if your get replaced not to long ago you fine because the new ones should last a long time

      I don’t think is possible I never tried that that’s why they sell the bearing with hub in it

  • @jcorral2

    ... another thing I did not remember see him doing is torquing to the correct specs, I was in the shop with him when he did the work but for some reason I can't recall him torquing to the specs that you mentioned ... so is that going to cause issues ?

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  5 лет назад

      Maybe because on wheel bearings too loose or to tight make the bearings go bad sooner

    Good video, very informative. You did not have this problem, but when I tried to do the job on my 2001 Accord, the inner grease retainer remained on the spindle and I couldn't get it off. Any suggestions on how to get the grease retainer off?

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks man, you have to cut it, check the video of Eric the car guy to see how to cut it.
      That happened to me before and took me 4 hours to removed them

      @@BulletSolano Got lucky. Sprayed everything with Brakecleen, then Tap, tap, tap with a chisel and a ball peen, backed the retainer off the spindle a quarter inch. Pried it the rest of the way. Really glad I didn't have to cut it.

    Is the 5 lug hub the same for this and would the rotor fit the caliper?

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  6 лет назад

      Do you want to do a conversion?

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  6 лет назад

      Because the rotor for the 5 lug is bigger and don’t fit the caliper for the 4 lug

    • @RiQWitDaBliQ
      @RiQWitDaBliQ 6 лет назад

      Bullet Solano yes mines is 4lug

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  6 лет назад +1

      To do a conversion you have to change the knuckle the rotor caliper and bearing

    So i got similar rotors like you from eBay and i came with pads too . As soon as change the rotors and pads and take it for a test drive , i notice both wheels are smoking ? You know what it could be ?

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  5 лет назад

      That’s normal because the pads and rotor are bedding in, but don’t brake to heavy for the first times

      it may have, i had a set of brembo come in from eBay back in the day for my prelude and my buddy had a set come in for his accord(different sellers). the little L & R stickers were backwards on mine and i installed them wrong as well...it wasn't a big deal because they weren't the captive rotors like on a 90-97 accord like my buddy had but still it made me feel like i was taken advantage of, you know? I have the ebc dimpled and slotted on my CB7 now and I wouldn't have any other rotor than a slotted kind. they are noisy but stopping is amazing.
