Nice presentation. I was traveling in South korea and the Tour guide told us that A tamil Queen ruled them. I visited her tomb and found her jewellry similar to Tamils. I could undertand many Korean words that have same phonetics and meaning...Appa - dad. Amma - mum. Choru - Rice. Naal - date and so on. "Appa", called out a voice as the consul general of Korea Kyugsoo Kim was taking a stroll on the Mahabalipuram beach. His first impulse was to look back, thinking it was his son calling him. Seconds later he realised that Tamils like Koreans also address their fathers as Appa. The incident inspired him to start researching on words that are common to both Tamil and Korean languages.During his research, Kim came across about 500 words in Tamil and Korean which share the same meaning and pronounciation. For instance the Korean word 'Apahada' which is 'Avadhipadu' in Tamil means the same --'in pain' or 'suffer'-in both languages. Similarly 'Vanakam' (hello in Tamil) in Korean is 'Vangapta', 'Manaive' (wife) is 'Manura' and 'Nal' (day) is also 'Nal'. The Koreans believe they have Indian ancestors and the queen who migrated from India may have been highly influenced by the Tamils." He adds that more research should be done in the area to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

My observation about Indians are that they are very patriotic. I told this to my Indian friend. But many are more proud of their ethnic identity first. India is home to thousands of dialects and countless languages. So yeah people would probably want to know where the Queen came from. What's interesting about the Korean people is the use of Amma and Appa to refer to their parents. These are the same words that I know Southern Indians specifically Tamils use. While Tamil has been said to be a language derived from the root language of Sanskrit, there are other languages as well like Malayalam. I'm Korean, and when I first heard the legend of an Indian princess, I thought it was just an unproven legend, but now I think it's true.
Since 2004, a survey of the tombs of nobles in the ancient Gaya(Garak) kingdom of King Kim Su-ro in the southern part of the Korean peninsula has revealed that at least one of the buried people has DNA similar to those of South Indians.
I think it is very likely that the Indian princess came from Tamil, given various reasons. I think it is necessary for Indian scholars to investigate and present the exact basis for the old place names.
Gaya(Garak) kingdom's King Kim Su-ro is the founder of 'Gimhae' Kim clan. Not all Kims in Korea are Gimhae Kim clan(there are many Kims from other clans), and Gimhae Kim clan is one of the oldest and biggest in Korea, estimated that there are about 4 million Gimhae Kims in Korea.
It is said that she had 10 sons and a daughter, 8 sons were given Gimhae Kim surname, and the other 2 sons became the founders of Gimhae Heo clan, which is from her name Heo Hwang-ok(許黃玉 her Korean name or Chinese style name meaning yellow jade or topaz).
The Gaya Kingdom was annexed to the Silla Kingdom in AD 562, and the Gimhae Kim clan was incorporated into the Silla nobility. The later generation of Kim Yu-shin is a nobleman and general from Gimhae Kim, and is a great figure in Korean history for his great achievements in achieving the unification of the Korean Peninsula by Silla kingdom.

Hey Hoon, I'm from southern part of India and I'm a kaniyakumari girl.I think that I can also share my thoughts in this paltform.these are not only my thoughts or opinions but the answers for my questions after a long research on this historical story. Her memorial in Korea has a stone with a FISH symbol on it . That was the stone , the queen brought along with as a sign of her country. On that period kaniyakumari was ruled by PANDIAN dynasty and their flag symbol was Fish. Most importantly more than thousand words in Korean are similar with Tamil language. The real Tamil name of the queen is SEEMPAVALAM. The queen brought 600 assistants and helper along with her from her kingdom and Them too married and settled in Korea. In northern part of India have state named Ayodhya but she is not from there. During her marriage the place Ayodhya was know as SEKATTA or CEKATTA. And the only place called as Ayudha or Ayuta during that period , was kanniyakumari( now called as). The king ruled the place was commonly known as Aai king and the place commonly known as Aai Nadu(Aai kingdom). You guys can see the similarities of Korean workship, and reasons behind Korean marriage rituals etc.
Thankyou guys for spending your time on reading my comments.

I noticed the similarities between Tamil and Korean - it’s not only the words such as நாள்/ 날 (pronounces ‘Nal’ which means day) - it’s actually amazing how similar the GRAMMAR is.
I’ve noticed the sentence structure is pretty much exactly the same.
    For example:
English - when will you come back?
Korean- 언제 (when) 돌아 (return) 오니(come you) ?
    Tamil - எப்போ (when) திரும்பி (return) வருவ (come) நீ (you)?
Hindi (a derivative of Sanskrit / spoken in northern India) - तुम (you) वापस (return) कब (when) आओगे (will come)
The structure is a bit different with Hindi.
There are so many other similarities. Man, languages are so interesting haha!
Thanks for the sharing this video. Hope you found my comment interesting. :)

      Hello thieves.
I am also from Tamil nadu. But truth is truth.
Tamils stole bodhi dharma from Kerala. Just because bodhidharma went to China from mahabalipuram port, you people have appropriated him as pallava.
The name 'mahabali'puram itself says the Kerala connection.
Above is just one example. I have debunked many lies of fake tamil pride.
Korean first lady visited ayodhya NOT tamilnadu.

Even i am doing a research about.....she is princes of pandiya dynasty....it seems once in the dream of the great king of pandiya dynasty god said the king to find a prince for his daughter from a foreign country....and without hesitation he along with soldiers and some people, some precious jewels and went to south korea....and then she was married to a korean prince...i cant tell the detailed one because it is great story....and infact there are a lot of words which are similar....like we tamilians say amma and appa and even koreans will say amma and appa which means mom and dad....and all the kim brothers and sisters are like our far away relatives....we are so proud to have koreans as our ancestors and relatives....thank you so much for making this video bro💜💜💜...its way of educating people about the connection between tamilians and koreans💜💜👏👏👏👏
